I walked into this place and I must say, it looked clean, had some nice music playing, and smelled great. Most important, I was greeted with a warm smile and a handshake. I was asked when I needed it by. I said within a few hours. She was there alone. Looked around and I "no problem." As I began to walk out, she said, "you know what, give me 15 minutes." Well alrightly then! I took a slow stroll around the buildings to look again and was all set shortly after I returned. Fantastic customer service. Super happy with this place. I'd seen the Yelp reviews some weeks before but after a coworker recommended me to her I gave it a shot. I'd purchased several items I'd lost the receipt to and one particular set of pants from Marc Jacobs that had sold out after my receiving the package only to find out they weren't straight fit that I'd ordered but boot cut so I was just gonna regift it lol. Anyyyyways, she hemmed one of my pants that I got too lazy to "dry clean" that came undone while washing & two work pants that I brought in from being too loose after losing 25lbs. Lastly the MJ pants that she was able to alter into straight-slim fit but not too much so that I don't look like a wanna be unknown 2018 rapper with XXS denim peep my chikin legs af rappers. She measured, pinned me up and that was it. Came back in & picked up a week later. Prices were 15$ x 3 (3 pants alterations) & 5$ for the hem = $50. No tax, no charge for card. read more

I love this place. I've been going for over 10 years, but I haven't been in a long time. I went today to get a formal dress (for a wedding) altered. I am so happy right now. I went to the tailor. She's going to take in, cut, hem, Yadda yadda. Her prices are so reasonable--especially since she's one of the best in town. It looked so nice when she pinned it. It made me feel so much better about the way the dress fit me. She's professional, kind, and has a great sense of humor. After my first review, I regularly went to Maria while living in Las Vegas. Each time I went she did the most amazing job, and I had been to several seamstresses over the years. Every time I went to her throughout the years she did a phenomenal job. She was so sweet, and made fantastic suggestions. She even made clothes if I brought her the fabric. Sometimes I would have her turn my dresses into skirts, and my family thought I had bought a new skirt, looking even better than the original dress. I always need jeans to be adjusted for my right fit and this place does the job. They are inexpensive and very professional. When fitting, there is never a rush. They are always making sure it's what we want not what suits their time. I recommend this place out of the ones closer to my house or job. Super sweet tailors. I brought a pair of designer jeans here to get hemmed. They told me it would take two days and it took exactly two days. The reason for the three stars instead of five is because the stitching on both sides was not uniform. The stitching was wavy when it should've been straight. I've gotten many pairs of pants hemmed before and I've seen better work. I guess, afterall, you get what you pay for. You can't really beat $10 for a quick hem. read more

Maria is the best! I went to her last minute for a bridesmaid dress I bought online and had taken to another person to help alter it. That was a mistake. I should have brought the dress to Maria first. She took her time fitting me correctly in the dress and helped fix all the mistakes the first person did. She said my dress was one of the worst she's ever seen and it was a challenge. I highly recommend you go to her if you need major alterations done. I went in to see her Sat. 5/14 and I needed it done by 5/18 and she did it. She's experienced, fast and very reasonably priced (even with my challenging dress). Great spot with quick turnaround(think: 1 day for multiple items) and great prices. They ask ?'s before hand (unlike a few overly-confident tailors in vegas who'll remain nameless in this review). Very thoughtful and experienced staff. So far, the ladies here have hemmed several pairs of (fancy, stiff) jeans and worked on some $$$ (unraveling) synthetic threads of mine with superb results, matching repair threads and all. I took in a few pants for length alterations and no issues, nothing special. I then returned with 2 blazers I wanted a clip added so I could close it and that's why I'm giving 3 stars. I dropped my blazers off on tuesday and was told to come back friday. I was in no hurry for them so I let Friday pass and returned Wednesday and with more clothes for alterations to find she hadn't touched them. Now I'm always late for thing but for a business I expect things to be on time or just a lil behind. She asked for more time and offered to do at no charge (cost was $16) but with coming 5 days after she told me it would be ready I think there was no excuse for my small add on not to be done and I dont want it to happen again. This is why I will not be giving any future business to this tailor. read more

After reading the Yelp reviews and saying they were reasonable. I thought I would give this place a try. I needed to have 2 dresses hemmed for 2 separate events. I asked how much it would cost & was told it would be $15.00 per dress. I was shocked. This is definitely not reasonable. I would pay $8.00 in California. I had no choice but to pay it. I asked if the dresses could be done by Friday at 3:00 (it was Wednesday). I was told yes. I arrived early on Friday at 2:20. They hadn't even started hemming the dresses. I left and ran another errand. When I got back it was done. I was worried they may not be done properly since it was done fast. The dresses did come out right.
