I came to get a dress tailored for a wedding I will be attending. I needed to hem the length and make a higher slit. Maria has great customer service. It's obvious she has years of experience. She knows how a dress should sit perfectly and comfortably on your body!

We're heading to a wedding soon & the Mrs had purchased a pretty jacket to wear but it didn't fit her well. So I pulled up Yelp & found A Tailor. We went in for her fitting on October sixth & left the jacket there. It was two weeks of worries for the Mrs. "What if it's too tight?" "What if it's too loose?" "What if it doesn't fit right or looks bad?" All those worries were needless. We picked up the jacket today & it fit perfect! She is so happy with how it looks & fits on her. Kudos to A Tailor for a job well done.

My wife and I have been having alterations done by Maria at A-Tailor since approximately 2016. We have had sleeves shortened and lengthened, pants hemed. Jackets let out (hey. we enjoy good food), patches sewn on leather jackets, gown modifications, etc. Maria prices her alterations very fairly, and although we have never had anything done that needed tweaking, I feel certain she would stand behind her work. We always try and support independent businesses and love the work done here. Maria is an awesome businesswoman, and I hope we will be having her perform our alterations for many years to come.

Maria, the owner is very friendly and very professional. You'll get no attitude or unfriendly demeanor when you walk in to her shop and interrupt whatever tailoring project she may be working on--and I appreciate that. I've been doing business with her for at least six years although I've not taken that many pieces of clothing to her mostly pairs of pants and jeans needed to shorten and hem. Today we took my husband's bomber jacket to have the sleeves shortened and the button removed and also pairs of work pants as his job ordered him the wrong length. He wanted a certain length for his work pants and she quickly told us why that length should not be chosen. She is now in a larger suite, right next to her old suite and now has two fitting rooms plus a larger work area with separate cashier area and a spacious lobby with chairs to sit and wait. Her prices and TAT are very reasonable too.

Can you do a t shirt sleeve tightening ? The sleeves are a little lose on the bicep. How much time and cost?

Yes we can do. Our price depends of the clothes, if is shirt of jackets, we give around one week or less, thanks

Pockets! Has anyone had side-seam pockets added to dresses or had faux welt pockets turned into real pockets with this tailor?

Need fixed or replaced?

Not sure what the "real" question is, but she is an awesome tailor and can fix/stitch almost anything or make a repair needed.

I have a leather jacket in need of some repair. The inner lining is all torn up. I need to find a way to salvage it, but I'm hopeless with a sewing machine. Do this place do clothing repairs/alterations of this kind?

I'd give her a call at (702) 433-9515. She's super nice, and if she can't fix it then she may know someone who can.

I took my husbands shirts in to be cleaned and Dillon and Brenda were so nice and really helpful with his work shirts. They did a great job and I will use them whenever I need something done. I explained what the garment was and that I was trying to get it dry cleaned or pressed before returning it to the school tomorrow afternoon. I called at 2:40 pm and the nice gentleman on the phone was helpful and said maybe it could be just pressed and picked up tomorrow. This was the third place I had called and I was so happy to get someone on the phone who at least would try to help. I told him I'd be there soon and drove right over I got there at 2:50 and only a lady was inside working. I told her that I had just been speaking with a man who said it was possible to maybe dry clean or maybe just press a dress by tomorrow. She started shaking her head no before I even finished the sentence. She said we're closed for the weekend the soonest it would be done is Thursday next week (today is Wednesday) I don't even think she cared what service I was there to pay for. She simply didn't want to do any service needing to be done by tomorrow. I explained I understand but the reason I came here is because I called ahead and was told yes just 10 mins ago. She said awwww sorry hun a few times. I felt talked over and not treated with professionalism. I have no problem with the guy who took the call he was polite and professional. I have no problem if they cannot do the work, or if what I'm asking is too much. I just didn't appreciate that I called ahead to make sure, only to get there and be told no way, not possible till next Thursday for pick up! Would not try to come here again.
