Footings and Foundation were set 2ft to low which effected septic system design and install. Had to pay for septic design to be redone to offset foundation height which included gray water pump. Basement floor cracked in multiple locations within 30 days of being poured. Foundation has multiple hairline cracks in all walls and corners. Final site work including loam was done in hurry up mode. Have large rocks everywhere with final loam thicknesses varying from one inch to 3 inches. Couldn't follow schedule, had to wait or postpone other portions of project. Since final payment, can't get any response about concrete floor or wall issues. Very unprofessional

Excellent roofing company. Dana Hall showed up on time when I set up an appointment for an…read moreestimate. His company came as a recommendation from someone who had gone with a cheaper roofing company and then regretted it. Dana got up on my roof, took measurements, and promptly provided an estimate. It took a couple of months to get me on the schedule, but that says something about their reputation if that many people trust them and want them to do the roofing job. They showed up right at 7:30 am on the day they said they would with a posse of trucks! Within minutes, I had 6 guys up on my roof stripping off old shingles. Dana was on the ground organizing the crew and getting things started. He told me he has been roofing his entire life and most of the crew he has has been as well. After an hour or so, he left and the foreman on the job kept things moving smoothly. I went outside and observed them at work several times. They worked hard and fast. I observed teamwork and professionalism. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Crew members were assigned to different jobs: shingling, carrying up shingles, cleaning the ground and carrying away roofing debris, etc. Within a day and a half, my entire roof was done and my yard cleaned. I have a very large roof with 3 different levels, valleys, several skylights, and two chimneys. Knowing the job was done well and is guaranteed gives me great peace of mind. I highly recommend them.

It doesn't seem plausible to me that it would be necessary for them to be there since the fire department would be too busy dealing with a fire to talk to them. I realize that going to a fire is far more exciting than meeting with a prospective client. These last minute cancellations have happened to me twice before with other companies I have made appointments with in the past year. It must be clearly understood by the managers of these companies that people often times have to take time off from work and deal with other inconveniences to meet with workmen and last minute cancellations are unacceptable. You only get one chance with me. Next time I will reschedule and purposely miss the appointment and let them know what it's like to have someone waste your time.

I called and was given a quote within a couple of days. I know that contractors are busy these…read moredays, so I thought it might be a while before the work could be done, but Craig fit us in. The floor job was pretty complex. The previous owners had removed a wall, thrown down some plywood and covered it in carpet. The floor on either side of the plywood was covered in two slightly different ypes of wood and was splattered in paint. Now it looks great! The price was as quoted, and there was communication everyday. As far as COVID protocols, Craig did as I asked while in my home. Will definitely use Wilcox Carpentry again.
