Jeri worked with us on two separate occasions while we were looking at rings and trying to decide if we were going to use some of the diamonds from her original engagement ring or do something completely different. Jeri was very knowledgeable and friendly, did not try and up sell us, and showed us lots of options after listening to my wife's desires. We ended up buying an entirely new engagement ring, center stone and matching wedding band to celebrate our 31st anniversary and could not be happier. [Her original ring was nice, but we were poor college students back then---time for an upgrade!] Tri the jeweler was great, sizing and getting our old and new rings done sooner than expected. Our original rings look just like new as well. Finally, when we picked up our rings Jeri was off that day but called us the next day to see if we were pleased with our purchase and satisfied with the work. A great place with wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff--we could not be happier!!

I brought in my Omega Seamster wristwatch for service since the springs in the clasp failed. The…read moremanager explained to me that unfortunately the whole clasp had to be replaced to the tune of $500. She said this has happened to other customers as well. I decided to come here since it was close to home and I didn't feel like driving to the Omega Boutique at South Coast Plaza. This repair quote of $500 didn't seem legitimate to me. The "technician" came out of the back room and essentially told me the same thing. I told the store no thanks, and they basically gave me attitude to the effect of, "Well, good luck." The manager was also giving me attitude that I didn't buy the watch from them, and that I should consider them for my next purchase, etc. Eye-rolling stuff. Anyway, a week later I brought the watch to the Omega Boutique at South Coast and the technician had the bracelet disassembled and rebuilt in 10 minutes flat. When I asked how much I owed for the repair, he said, "No charge at all sir!" So there you go. Unethical business practices at Swiss Watch Gallery of Mission Viejo. They tried to rip me off but now all they got for their trouble was a bad one star review and my promise never to step foot in their store again. If you're considering a luxury watch, go elsewhere. Not only are they inept at repairs, they are unethical people. The manager and technician are basically working together to fleece people. Clearly the technician here knows nothing about servicing the watches they are selling. Bringing your luxury watch to this shop for service would be like trusting your Ferrari to a Honda mechanic. I would advise anyone who cares for their luxury timepiece to not come here for any kind of service. See other reviews.

I have come to this jewelry store many times before, mostly because it is the closest to my home…read more But I will never ever come back. I brought my watch in because there was condensation inside. The jeweler asked me why I wore it in the shower or a swimming pool. I told him I didn't do either. In fact, I've never worn it in the shower or in any wet situation. He looked at me and said, " You definitely did!" I didn't feel like arguing with him, but I thought at that point that he was very rude to argue with me when I had told him explicitly that the watch has never gone under water. When I came to pick up the watch, he warned me again about not getting it wet. Had he not heard me before!? I then took a look at my watch and saw that there was a chip on the crystal. That chip was not there when I brought this watch to him. It is not just a little chip, it is bold and extremely obvious, and I definitely would've noticed it prior to me bringing it in. In fact, if I had noticed something like that before I would think that it was possible that even handwashing could have gotten condensation into the bezel. He immediately argued with me and said, "Of course it was there!" That was absolutely not true and he continued to argue with me in front of a store full of customers and employees. This man is extremely extremely rude. He told me that he was too old to be arguing with a woman like me. To that, I agreed. He IS old and extremely crotchety. I will never step foot in this place nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. I'd be willing to go 10 more miles from home as to avoid this man again. He embarrassed me in the store, he did not listen to me, and then he wrecked my beautiful watch. Sooooo bad for business to have this man working at this establishment, and even worse that he is allowed to interface with customers.

I don't often write long reviews, but what happened today deserves to be shared…read more I walked into Swiss Connection this afternoon with something incredibly precious to me--a bent, nearly broken silver ring that my late father gave me for my birthday, the last piece of jewelry he ever gifted me before he passed away. My wedding is in one week, and I had been hoping against all odds to wear this ring as my "something blue." I wasn't sure hope would be enough. I came to Swiss Connection because every experience I've ever had with them has been marked by kindness, honesty, warmth, and true professionalism. Years ago, the owner, Jean-Jacques, replaced a watch battery for me on a Saturday morning during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I walked out of that visit smiling for the first time in days. That moment stuck with me. Today, I was met with that same care--this time from Jeremy, a jeweler whose talent and generosity truly left me speechless. From the moment he looked at the ring, Jeremy was honest. Silver is malleable, he said. He wasn't sure he could salvage it. He made no promises--only that he'd try and that he'd know within a few minutes whether anything could be done. I appreciated his transparency and the sincerity in his voice. While he worked, the staff (all incredibly kind--my golden retriever got just as warm a welcome as I did) made me feel at ease. Time passed, and when Jeremy finally emerged, he had a hopeful look in his eyes that I will never forget. He gently picked up the loose topaz stone and said he thought he might be able to set it after all. What happened next felt nothing short of miraculous. Jeremy didn't rush. He took his time. He handled that ring as if he understood exactly what it meant to me--because somehow, he did. When he reappeared again, it wasn't five minutes later. It was much longer, because he had poured genuine care and craftsmanship into trying to restore something irreplaceable. And he did. He handed me back a beautifully polished ring with the stone set securely, restored in a way I didn't think was possible. When he told me there would be no charge, the tears came immediately. I don't think I've stopped crying since. Thanks to Jeremy, I will be able to walk down the aisle next weekend wearing a piece of my dad--my something blue, and a reminder of his love on one of the most meaningful days of my life. Jeremy may not be a man of many words, but his work speaks louder than anything he could say. His craftsmanship, humility, and kindness are extraordinary. My father always appreciated true artisans--people who take pride in their craft and show heart in their work. Jeremy is absolutely one of those people. To Jeremy: from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To Jean-Jacques: thank you for creating a shop with soul, integrity, humor, and people who genuinely care. To Ms. Gerard: you're a true gem and I have enjoyed our conversations and how truly considerate and genuine you are. To Swiss Connection: you have a customer for life--me and my soon-to-be husband. You all made a wedding dream come true, and I will never forget it.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, comfortable, and relaxed. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and professional. I had visited a couple of other watch buyers before coming here--one felt more like a marketplace where the focus seemed to be on negotiating the price down as much as possible, while another had a very corporate atmosphere that felt a little intimidating. This place was completely different. It had a warm, personal feel that immediately made me comfortable. Before visiting, I sent photos of the Rolex I wanted to sell and received a very fair quote. I expected that once I arrived and they inspected the watch, the offer might be lowered. To my surprise, there were no games or last-minute negotiations. My watch was in good condition, and they honored the price they had quoted me beforehand. The entire process was simple, transparent, and efficient. They inspected the watch, completed the transaction, and handed me a check right there on the spot. There was no complicated process and no waiting several days to get paid. What impressed me most was the combination of a fair price, professionalism, and genuinely friendly service. Selling a valuable watch can sometimes feel stressful or uncomfortable, but they made the entire experience easy and pleasant.
