We even visited a cemetery from the 1800s where freedmen were buried after the war. Standing there, I had such a powerful feeling. These were REAL people, not just faceless characters from a book. Know before you go: This is a small, locally owned and operated business. Don't expect 24/7 operators to take your call. If you are from out of town, it gets hot here in the summer! The dispatcher was very helpful in the matter and was able to get us two 30 person buses to our location 2 hours after our scheduled departure so that the day was not completely ruined and we appreciated that. That alone would not have garnered a negative review from me, I get it, mistakes happen; but how you respond to those mistakes is what matters. So when I called during the week to hopefully get some form of reim or at the very least an official apology for the mistake, I was ignored! Five texts left on 'read', multiple calls not returned, multiple emails not replied to. Not once did I yell at anyone or give anyone a hard time, I simply stated that we did not receive the service that we paid for and I was hoping for some sort of refund or compensation for the trouble. Complete radio silence from the company. I don't understand what I did to earn such a disrespectful unprofessional (non) response. Be cautious to anyone considering this company, they use Zelle for their transactions and so when they make a mistake you have no way to get your money back and they refuse to take accountability for their mistakes.
