I love coming to Drybar and I try to come twice a month. I love makeup and skincare, but absolutely…read morehate doing my hair, so having someone else shampoo, give a little massage, and then dry and style my hair is absolutely worth the splurge. They offer you a complimentary drink (water, coffee, wine...) which is nice, and you can also upgrade your shampoo experience to have a scalp srub, shine treatment, longer massage, etc... Some stylists are better than others of course, meaning some days I love my hair more than others, but I never leave unhappy!

Especially when you have…read morelots of it and doing your own hair makes you sweat and or your arms get tired from blow drying or braiding your hair for a long time. I remember as a child my grandma used to French braid my hair and my sister's hair before we went off to school. We'd sit on the floor and wait while she intricately created beautiful updos for us. She would then add flowers to our hair from her many plants and bushes outside to finish it off. As I grew older I've had various experiences getting my hair done, for proms, balls, photo shoots and so on. I had yet to really get my hair done in Omaha and I've always wanted to try the Drybar out. I had a wedding to attend and didn't want to get hot and sweaty figuring out how to do my hair so I decided to make an appointment with my hair stylist who normally cuts and colors my hair. But when the week came around my stylist was sick and had to cancel her appointments. This gave me the opportunity to book here at the drybar. I got there for my appointment and did have to wait about 10 minutes before my stylist was ready. I believe her name was Tanesha, she took me to wash my hair and we headed to the chair. The whole experience was relaxing and calm. I felt a little out of place but it's probably because I don't usually go to these places. I chose the Cosmo Tai and added a half braid along the side. I also added a sealant so it took me upwards of $85 plus tip. I really liked my stylist, she listened to me and executed my hair just the way I was imagining. I enjoyed watching the rom com on the TV that I can't even remember what it was but I like that aspect of my experience. My hair looked great and I'm glad I splurged on myself for the convenience and stress free experience. I don't know if I'll go again anytime soon but I'm thankful it worked out so I'd have a nice hair do for the wedding.

I set up an appointment with Lauren, at the Salon for Women who was recommended by a friend. Boy am I glad I did. From the time I walked through the door, I felt like I was visiting one of my friends. She was all smiles, and made me feel very much accepted and welcomed. She listened carefully to my hair history and made me feel confident that she could get the color right. Throughout the entire process, she kept me informed every step of the way, and in the end....I ended up with the most beautiful and perfect hair coloring I have ever received. To say I am happy is a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT! I plan on her being my forever stylist. Thank you Lauren.

Lauren is very kind, patient, and listens to her clients wants and needs. You can see that she is plugged into supporting her staff. Her haircutting skills are superb. This is a very welcoming salon that has energy in the air. Everyone working looked happy to be there which showed to me that they wanted to be there! It was definitely difficult to find a hairdresser being that we just moved here recently from the LA area. The vibe of the salon and Lauren made me feel comfortable and excited to find such a fabulous place and people. It is a feel good place!

I see Alyssa and she does an amazing job - im a natural blonde but hair is getting a bit more brassy/darker as I get older. Love the natural bright blonde highlighting Alyssa does & the cut/blowout. I always get compliments & asked where I go! The salons vibe is boujee but inviting & relaxing! Definitely will be my forever Omaha hair place. It is a bit pricey but very worth it in my opinion for the quality you get.

My stylist was over 15 minutes late with no communication, no apology, and no update until I asked what her status was. When I informed the front desk that I could no longer wait, the receptionist was dismissive and argumentative. To make matters worse, she insisted I would still be charged for the appointment--even though no service was provided. I was charged $45 for nothing. That's not just poor time management--it's unacceptable customer service. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company. I'm not new to salons, and I understand delays happen. But professionalism means respecting your client's time, communicating clearly, and owning your mistakes. Bungalow failed on all counts. I will not be returning. They are fairly inexpensive but not worth the aggravation of poor time management.
