    I went here for many years and the services were always ok. The last 2 times I went were horrible. I emailed them to no avail.... here's my review. Go spend $15 at super clips, the service will probably be better. $50 plus tip for a less than mediocre experience. I did my hair by myself the next week and it looked better than it did when I walked out of the salon. Extremely disappointing.

    5/4/22 had a hair extension done two days after I'm having my extensions falling out of my head. I go back to have the issue corrected on 5/10- 5/10 senior stylist came over to instruct the stylist on how to go about fixing this issue. I left, the next day 5/11 stylist messages me that she no longer works at this salon. 5/12 my hair is again falling out. I call the salon to get my money back so I can go to a different salon to have them a fully installed correctly. Stephanie moss refused and insisted they look at the issue and evaluate from there. I went back to Stephanie moss to have them look at the hot mess that was my hair On 5/17. I was refused a refund. I was told that the original stylist was pulled aside to "work on her stitching" and also got let go/quit/fired. upon further investigation, I had to much hair in the beads, leading to hair loss. The wefts where installed backwards, and too loose damaging the 720$ hair I had to purchase, two packs even tho I have very fine hair and was only looking for length. I had wefts sewn together I had beads stacked on top of each other very oddly.. save yourself the trouble and ditch this salon. They don't do refunds even tho they had two chances to do something correctly.... question Stephanie moss if a local electrical company messed up your electrical TWICE, would you hire them again? Didn't think so.

    The brown hair is my natural hair, didn't get colored.

    I have gone to this salon for years and recently went and got my hair colored and half of my hair didn't get colored. One half is now black and the other is the dark brown I had before. I was going darker so they didn't have to lighten it was just depositing color. When I got home I noticed it and reached out to the salon via messenger. I got a response that I could come back in and get a redo. I scheduled an appointment and was out of state and my flight got delayed. I called and let them know 24hrs prior to the appointment. Once I got back I sent another message (since this is how we had been communicating) asking what the options were. The message was read and never responded. Few days later I messaged again, again it was read and never responded. I then sent a message asking if a refund would be an option as I was frustrated with the hair but not frustrated with the quality of the service I was getting. Again, read and no response. I tried one more message. Gave them a few days to respond, no response. I called today and spoke with Starr, the receptionist. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was the only one. I explained what had happened and she said, "well since it's been so long the only option we have is to have you come back. But what I can do is have it be complimentary". I told her I had to drive over and hr to get to the salon and after everything with no responses I would just like a refund. I was then again told what she could do was have me come back in. I asked to speak then to Stephanie and was told "she is just busy and she isn't in the salon a lot so I'm not sure when I would hear back from her". I told her I would like to speak to Stephanie and would wait for her to call me and was then told she would be contacting me for Stephanie is just to busy and she doesn't know when she will speak with her. Starr, not Stephanie called me back to tell me that I could come in to get my hair fixed, and that was the only option. I told her that was an option for me to drive over and hr again. As someone who works in the education field and a single parent, making an hr drive for a 3hr appointment isn't something I can just drop by and do. I couldn't believe as a customer and client the way that Starr spoke to me. When did salons get to the place where the customer/clients satisfaction isn't the most important part. I would NEVER recommend this salon after this, and I've been going there for almost 10 years. Poor management and very snotty attitude.

    Aliyiah is absolutely terrible. I would avoid her at all costs Seems she's the only one who gets complaints

My stylist was over 15 minutes late with no communication, no apology, and no update until I asked what her status was. When I informed the front desk that I could no longer wait, the receptionist was dismissive and argumentative. To make matters worse, she insisted I would still be charged for the appointment--even though no service was provided. I was charged $45 for nothing. That's not just poor time management--it's unacceptable customer service. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company. I'm not new to salons, and I understand delays happen. But professionalism means respecting your client's time, communicating clearly, and owning your mistakes. Bungalow failed on all counts. I will not be returning. They are fairly inexpensive but not worth the aggravation of poor time management.
