This place is amazing there is only one stylist and he knows how to do his job. He is certified and his salon is in the Woodman office building in downtown Omaha. I had seen pretty good reviews of this place and saw that it was a good price for a haircut, so I came in to donate my hair. I was pretty nervous because it's been a while since I had short hair and I wasn't quite sure what I exactly wanted, but the guy was super nice and friendly about it. After we were done, I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it mostly for the fact that I wasn't so used to it being so short. But now that I've come home and played around with it a bit, I can honestly say that I absolutely love it! First time out of state college student in Omaha, thought I'd never find a hair stylist who'd meet the same expectations as the one I knew at home. Boy was I wrong... got my haircut and was extremely satisfied afterwards. The entire experience is comforting, and the conversation and atmosphere made me feel like I was in the right place. Even though I was slightly stressed about finding a place to get my haircuts, I'm now relieved that I don't have to look further. It's a great price, and overall my first haircut here was great. A side note is that appointments are very much preferred. The front lobby desk needs to let you past the entrance to the elevators, and for me, they said Matt doesn't take walk-ins past 2 pm. After asking Matt, he said he doesn't strictly require appointments because he doesn't want to discourage any potential customers, but appointments really help. I found this place on Yelp looking for a barber shop. This is one of the best barber shops I have been too. Matt is great at his job and is very friendly. I didn't have an appointment and walked in. It would be a good idea to call and make an appointment, but walk ins like myself are welcome. It is located in the 5th floor of the wooden tower. You just have to check in with the front desk. I just needed a simple wash and trim and this was perfect. The price was cheap ($18) and the salon was clean. The location is unique: the salon is on the fifth floor of the Woodman tower. I am visiting Omaha for two months and needed a haircut. I turned to Yelp and found this place within walking distance. It is located on the 5th floor of an office building. There is just one barber there who is also the owner. He says he's been there 10 years. He is a Very friendly guy and told me places to go and not to go in Omaha. I got a great cut for $13 plus tip. It would be best to call first but if he's free, he'll take a walk in but he's alone so he could be booked if you show up unannounced. He seems to know his regulars. The other two clients that I saw seemed to know him well. You won't be disappointed. read more

not a fan of throwing out 5 stars, but this place is it. 32" tv right in front of you. matt does a great job while throwing in some humor. excellent attention to detail. and great care in the job that he does. i would expect to pay high dollar for the cut and treatment i received, but it's one of the least expensive i have gotten. there will be no other hair places i yelp about because i will not be going to another. i hear the lady that does nails there is great too. check it out... they're on the 5th floor of the woodman tower. read more
