JC Lilly's quote was lower than the other two I got, which is part of why I initially went with them; partially, also, because of Justin's quick, friendly, and knowledgeable visit and evaluation. The windows and door are all beautiful, high-quality, and function flawlessly. In particular, though, I want to mention Swavek and his absolutely top-tier installation crew, to whom I am very grateful. None of these installations were easy or straightforward, and the guys were smart, resourceful, expert, very highly skilled, and delightful to deal with.

Not only do the new windows look sleek and modern, but the entire process was top-notch from start to finish. What really stood out to us was their honesty. While other companies tried to sell us on full-frame replacements, SHS actually advised us to go with insert replacements. They pointed out that our house has high-density older wood framing that was worth preserving. Following their advice preserved the character and strength of our home while saving us a significant amount of money. Their communication was excellent throughout the project, and the installation crew was fantastic: punctual, respectful, and meticulous about keeping the worksite clean. On top of that, their guarantee is rock-solid. I feel completely confident that this was a lifelong investment and that they will stand by their work if anything ever comes up down the road. If you're looking for high-quality window replacement with an honest team you can trust, highly recommend Scientific Home Services.

They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. Jen and I are currently renting out a condo and since renting from the landlord we have encountered numerous problems, the likes of which include window issues. Last year we could hardly get the windows to go up and the tabs to hold the windows in broke off. The windows are the kind that you can pull in to clean--they have no storms, just a screen. Actually, the top window is secure--can't do anything with it. The bottom window is where the problems have occurred. Well as it happens, Jen recommended using Antonio. Told me that Antonio had done work for her parent's house way back when, and her mother really liked the work the guy did. We contacted the landlord and made the arrangements for him to come out. So we were quite happy that we had him to work on the windows. We used him again, about two weeks ago for the same problem with another window. The work was done in less than 20 minutes. Awesome! Antonio is very professional; a little on the chatty-side (fine with me), and will explain what he is about to do, and when completed, will describe to you what he has done and he gets the work done fast. His prices are also very reasonable. He also does other work-related construction projects. I'm recommending DeVila Windows because he really does a great job and makes you feel like you have someone who not only knows what he is doing but walks you through the whole process as he is working.

He orders his glass made from a professional glass manufacturer because he finds the quality control is more consistent that some glass companies that self-manufacture. Initially, I got an estimate at another place would not replace individual window panes/metal frames and "only the whole window" which was more wasteful and costly. It's nice to have all my windows fixed now. Antonio gave me recommendations to keep the window runners working well. He's a very personable guy.
