First off, setting up an appt to get a quote was so easy over text. The office mgr is professional, responsive, and always polite. What I especially liked is how Kevin, the owner, double checked whether the old unit could be repaired, provided two quotes (standard and high efficiency), and installed the new Bryant unit. There is no separate sales and installation teams. It was clean, eventless, and done in 4 hours. Another co, recommended by ConsEnergy, gave a quote that was more for a standard unit. The second, smaller 22-year-old AC died the next day!! And what was really amazing is how they sent over Josh within an hour of my text to diagnose and fix that one!! Seriously stellar service. I used the project quote function on Yelp to snag some pricing and info from local plumbers. In chatting with Al over yelp, he had me send some pictures and gave me a general idea of pricing. Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. Some of the larger companies in the area were a week or more out before even willing to come give me an estimate. Can't say enough positive things about Breyer's. I decided to sign up for the yearly service plan, because of the quality services that I receive from Kyle. My original assessment of Thornton grooms was a one star, but I've upgraded it to a five star based on this appointment that I had today. The only thing that I could recommend for future appointments is that Thornton and grooms provide a two hour window for serviceman to come out. Otherwise, I can highly recommend this company.

My furnace fan died after 18 years. Initially, I tried another company. They came out and said it…read moreis either the motor or the board. I thought they should be able to diagnose better than a guess. I called Crain and they were out to the house the next day. They plugged in a tester and informed me that it was the motor control module that was bad. The cost to repair was $1200.00 and the system was 18 years old. I elected to have a complete system (furnace and AC) installed. Crain was there the next day and did a complete install in one day. There was some miscommunication about Lennox financing but that issue falls to Lennox rather than Crain. Workers were prompt and courteous. They covered my basement carpet with a tarp and even covered my wood flooring steps with a tarp trying to be overly cautious of my home. I thought the tarp on the steps was dangerous for them but that's what they did. I don't believe the cost of the system was out of line. Prompt service, good pricing, courteous workers, steps taken to protect my home, and the install went smoothly. Not sure what more you could ask for. There is always someone who will find fault with some minuscule detail but they did a good job for me. The most important question, Would I recommend this company to you. Answer, Yes. I was pleased with their service and would like to use them in the future.

They kept everything clean, covered all walkways with tarp. The duct work was also neater, Compared to my old one. They added a Ptrap for easy cleaning. The unit itself runs great, house feels more comfortable. Much Even temperature across the levels. The crew was very efficient. They did have a hiccup. But they came back and fixed the following day. They did not even take payment before I am happy. They were not the cheapest. But their quote was much better than most other companies in the area. I would definitely reuse this company and recommend to anyone.
