SINGLE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Men arrived late. Took multiple breaks. Guys were disappearing all the time. 2 employees were doing drugs in their cars. Broke one of a kind picture frames. Dropped televisions in the middle of the street and left them there over their lunch break. Attempted to cover up destroyed mirrors. Lost hardware to furniture so it could never be assembled again. Damaged multiple walls and our front door.There was infighting drama amongst the group. Lost 2 men for hours as as result. Move was put on hold for over 2.5 hours. Was told claims adjuster would be sent out. Never came and have never heard from again. Quote was for 2 trucks, 4 men, 10-12 hours and not to exceed a cost of $2700. Only needed 1 truck as I did 1/3 of the move myself before the full move. Ended up being billed far over budget, for half the man power and a 19+ hour move that was never fully completed. Not to mention that I myself was busting my butt for over 24 hours straight to help save time and money. The owner/estimator "Felix" was completely dishonest with me, berated me on the phone and tried to deceive me on total cost for move. We ultimately settled for the original FULL quote because I just wanted them to get the hell off my property. DO NOT USE KOBE MOVING FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN HAULING TRASH TO THE DUMP. read more

I'd give this company a zero but that isn't possible. Do not trust this company. We had many items missing from the move and nobody has resolved this issue nor have we gotten a call back. It is such a violating feeling to trust a company to move your items and have them Missing especially when it's intimate clothing such as bras and underwear. Stay away from this company. read more

First day, they arrived 3 hours late to our house, they took kept taking prolonged breaks throughout the day, and they all had a strong smell of marijuana on them! They took so long moving our furniture out of the house, that our original one day plan had to be changed to three day. Really efficient 2 man crew and the price was great. They came promptly at the specified time and started wrapping all the furnitures very well. Once that was done they organized all the boxes and loaded the truck. My place was on the 5th floor and they had to go up and down the elevator numerous times, squeezing in large and fragile objects with ease. They moved and wrapped everything (1 bedroom apartment) in under 3 hours. I would use them again if I could! Wow Taylor and his crew were awesome. when Taylor arrived he did a walk-through with me nobody is ever prepared for a long distance move I was packed but half packed my wife had a lot of Christmas ornaments and stuff that still needed to be packed as I did the walk-through with Taylor he was very thorough with everything I expected to go over a little bit and at the end I didn't have TV boxes or anything like that and he created all my Tv And glass shelves for free all my wife's decorations Christmas stuff Thanksgiving stuff and Halloween decorations all got consolidated into wardrobe boxes I was really appreciate of that. my move did cost a little bit more but I was fine with that knowing that Taylor and his crew were really handling my furniture with care I will do a follow up when I receive my goods in South Carolina thank you Taylor and your crew. read more

At first the company seemed great. They came out right away, gave us a quote and were available on the date I needed to move out of my house. The moving day was horrible. They sent 2 men that complained the entire time that they were so tired from their move the day before and boy did it show! We told them that we needed to get on the road as soon as possible and they took their sweet ass time loading up the truck. Now mind you my husband and I already had everything in bins and the TVs were already off the walls and boxed up as well. They literally had to load everything up and bring down our beds. This took them 6 hours!!! The only reason they actually started hauling was after we tipped them $200 each to speed it up! Now I understand they were tired, as moving I'm sure it a tiring job, but how is this my problem? I paid for a service and expect that service to be done in a reasonable time, if its to much work then get more men to help out. 10 days later, we got our stuff. Everything looked like it was tossed, stepped on and thrown around. Every box that was labeled fragile was broken open and everything inside was broken. I paid to have dishes and glasses shipped the end up having to buy all new stuff anyways. I called and complained to the manager and all I got was a form to complete. With this form you have to provide receipts of everything that was broken to get a refund. Sure.....because I save every receipt from dishes and glasses I bought 7 years ago! Needless to say.....you get what you pay for. They have a great deal when it comes to a quote for long distance moving, but the service at the end of the day is horrible. Do yourself a favor and just pay a REAL moving company, pay a little more to have a peace of mind knowing that your stuff is going to be protected. She never abandoned the move, she was in fact told the move would be 1 day, on day 3 before they even started for the day she was billed triple the amount agreed upon ...changing the terms of the contract. The contract was at a set amount for an hourly rate, how do you bill before the job is complete? The crook Felix who is listed as the owner then told her he would take her belongings to an undisclosed location and charge for storage over 40 miles away, the move was less than 1 mile. Her ADULT children ....ages 34 and 26 had to call the Sherriffs to keep these crooks from stealing their belongings. They took them anyway, she always agreed to pay, the criminal Felix demanded cash again changing the terms of the contract, wanted her to pay him not even knowing if she'd ever get her belongings or where they were located. The police and attorneys have had to step in as they have tried to extort her for more and more money daily. They may have gotten away with this criminal behavior in the past, but we will do all we need to to make sure it doesn't happen again. read more

I found the rates to be very reasonable, especially for a distance of around 53 miles door to door. All costs were explained clearly and matched with what I was charged. I found Kobe Moving thru yelp but my moving experience with Kobe Moving was a never-wanted disaster. To avoid you experience my disaster, I definitely would not recommend anyone use Kobe Moving after reading my review. The movers arrived 1 hour later than scheduled. Before the moving started, Roger-the lead of the 3 movers, was already claimed he was tired and moved so slow on everything he touched. This moving was supposed to be easy for one bedroom plus 26 boxes, the driving distance to destination is only about 15 -20 minutes, it's supposed to be 3 hours job, but it took them 7 hours + 1 one-hour lunch to get it done. When they were moving the dining table out of the kitchen the movers wanted dissembling the dining table for being able to move out the kitchen. But my husband and me before we moved the dining table from living into the kitchen with no problem that made me think either they did not have experience of moving or they intentionally expand the moving length by doing anything they could extend the hours. When they completed the moving it's already 7pm they started 11am in the morning. The worst part of the moving was they left scratches on my well-conditioned dining table, legs of dining table, dresser foot and the head of my queen bed and the bottom the piano; scratched the floor of newly built ADU, wall and door that no one has lived there yet. My TV stand was damaged and not usable anymore. One handle of my well-conditioned dresser was missing they even tried to hide it from me being seen that. The invoice charged over 1,160.57 for a such poor job they did. When I called Kove Moving next day to Mr. Sam who I booked the moving with, there was no one answer the phone. Then I left voice message also wrote email to them to complain about what happened and asked for refund and the damage. They refused any refund, told me to file claim with insurance company because the owner refused to do anything solve the issue. Seems to me this is not a reliable company you can rely on at all but only collect the money. One month passed by I have been following up with them multiples time, no result. read more
