My wife purchased a sectional sofa in Santa Clarita. We live in Palmdale and were responsible to move it there ourselves, within 48 hours. This was on a Tuesday, so we had until Thursday. Wednesday, I called Emiliano at ET Moving and he was able to schedule the pick up on Thursday, no problem. He and his helper Danny carefully wrapped the sections with blankets and plastic wrap. When they got to the house, they moved the old sectional out, brought the new one inside, unwrapped the sections, assembled it and moved it into place. Perfect! And at a very reasonable price. Contacted ET movers with short notice of a move from a house to storage. Came out and looked at what we had and gave us a quote on the spot, which was very reasonable and well below their competitor. They had the date we needed to move available. After a reasonable deposit, we were set. On moving day, the crew arrived on time. The crew was extremely careful with all items. All items were properly broken down, wrapped in blankets and shrink wrap and loaded properly onto their trucks. Once we arrived at the storage unit, the items were unloaded and placed in the storage properly. Crew was hard working, friendly and overall a pleasure doing business with. We hired Emiliano - ET Moving for our move from Lancaster to Valencia and then from Valencia to Newhall. Both moves went smoothly. Emil sent a crew that were hard working and really hardly ever took breaks. Yes, they did need a lunch break since it was a 10 hour job, I didn't mind paying for a small lunch break, these guys (3) worked their behinds off! Also, they are pretty reasonable compared to other movers. I would recommend this company for moving services, whether you just need the labor or labor+ truck. I have never dealt with a more competent, professional group of workers during a move. Everything was scheduled according to our needs and they arrived on time. Additionally, the company provided all of the padding and wrapping necessary to ensure there was not a single scratch on any furniture or appliances. Emilio was rude from the start. I attempted to show him all the items being moved so he could make the most informed truck-packing strategy and he told me he didn't want to know and just wanted to start loading anything they could get to. After working less than an hour, he instructed his crew to take a break and left me and my brother to do the work. Emilio set the pace for his crew by moving extremely slowly, taking multiple phone call breaks, and generally not caring how the move was progressing. At the end of the 6 hours, Emilio attempted to charge us an additional fee that he didn't disclose when we hired him and wanted us to also pay for him and his crew's 30min lunch break. I obviously told him we weren't paying for that lunch break, neither we were going to pay the fee he made up at the end. He then became very belligerent and started saying all kinds of ridiculousness. The crew he brought was made up of good guys, but they followed his lead and pace. It really felt like he was trying to milk the move for as much time as he could, seeing as we only filled to small/medium sized trucks in the 5.5hrs they worked. In all honesty, I wish I would have just saved that $600 and paid 4 friends that would have done way more work and with much more care. Emilio's company is NOT a good choice. Go with someone with a brand and reputation on the line. read more

We had a great experience with ET. We called them a week before we needed to do a local move in the middle of summer to move a 4 bedroom house. Surprisingly they were available and they exceeded our expectations. They came to the house and gave an estimate with options for flat rate or hourly. This was the most exceptional moving team that I have ever used (I have moved a lot with my job). These Gentleman were gentle with my furniture, re-wrapped things that could be damaged when I wasnt able to foresee what could go wrong. They gave me suggestions about how to hook my car to the moving truck, they spent ample time making sure I knew how to properly secure my car. They packed the truck in a logical order to make my removal when i got to my destination easier. I only used them for the mover service due to moving 5 hrs away, but they were exceptional. I had to move from one area of the AV to another, and not only did ET offer a price half of other local services, but they exceeded every expectation I had. They showed up on the dot, moved everything regardless of how badly we packed it, wrapped anything fabric/delicate and taped the pads, and didn't charge for any consumables. The only surcharge was a $20 gas/driving fee which I was happy to pay. They required a 4 hour minimum, and I think it ended up taking 3.75, so I got a full house moved and sorted for under $400. Finally the guys were just cool. They kept a good hustle going, but they were talkative and engaging. They made sure we felt like part of the process which I appreciate with my difficult letting go control. They wrapped all of our furniture carefully and moved it so carefully. When I was done moving I had them come back to remove all of the things I didn't want and they cleared out my old house. ET movers is locally operated by Emiliano here in Palmdale. They are responsive and very prompt. And they were able to accommodate a booking for a Sunday move. I called at 5:45 pm on Saturday late. Looked at others until I saw that this moving outfit was local. I happen to call just before the office closed at 6 pm. Emiliano was very nice and courteous over the phone and gave us a fair quote. We moved to a temporary apartment until we could get in into a larger space and we have too much stuff. Three guys for three hours plus some assembly help on the bed. Then unload the rest of a 22 feet U Haul truck to a storage unit. Thank you for your help. You have eased our move in a great way.We stayed at the Holiday Inn the night before. I start orientation tomorrow at Palmdale Regional Medical Center and tonight we are in our bed retired and comfy, my husband still tired is already asleep.
