I would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

But I was shocked when the dealership asked for several hundreds to make a new key. I would have to leave the car there, they would "test" it, then program a new key etc. etc. I forgot an exact amount, but the quote was in $500-700 range. I called my (great) mechanic who specializes in German cars, he said he would search aftermarket. The news weren't great either. Something like $250 only for the fob. Plus programming. Phew. Then a friend recommended the US Locksmith LLC, and we hit a lottery. Yonni came to our house and it took 30-40 minutes for him to program the key for a fraction of the cost, and it was a GENUINE Mercedes key, not even aftermarket! And it was a pleasure to meet Yonni and chat with him, he's a great guy. The key has been working perfectly, and it's been several months. Highly recommend!

Mirrors & doors activate, when key remains in one's pocket. Visit 3, they installed new batteries (though new key should've had fresh ones already). Visit 4, Lamar ordered a new key. I was told new key's ready but it wasn't when I arrived on Visit 5 be THE locksmith wasn't there. So, on Visit 6, I after waiting 1 hour for service, was given & tested the new key. It works. Friends told me, afterward, keys shld be made by dealer. Lesson learned bc, saving $150 wasn't worth 6 visits. However, Lamar has decent customer serv, convenient shop hours & location, and is likely proficient for facility locks & keys, and non-computerized vehicle keys. I wont use them again for hi-tech keys.

He showed up over 45 minutes later than the time he should have been there, and did not return any of my calls in between that time. By the time he got here I demanded an apology but he laughed and blamed the traffic. I told him how unprofessional he was and that I was going to file a complaint because of his lack of communication. He instantly got defensive and changed to an aggressive tone. He proceeded to verbally attack me and said, "Oh you want to file a complaint? Then I'll leave you right now." I had no choice but to apologize for his wrong doings because I was in a hurry and needed to meet with a client.

You'd think he'd have many many more reviews by now, he's been in business for over 20 years, and he's busy all day from the time I was there (why aren't all these costumers leaving reviews?!) I did end up paying more, but it's because I was cheap and went to him with an Amazon fob. He tried for over 30 minutes to fix this fob... he said he had to help another customer and I also had to leave for a little, and he was willing to stay after business hours for me to come back and try again. He ended up determining it was the fob, so he switched out my fob with his fob, which he was able to easily program and it worked perfectly. So props to George. My Miata thanks you. Keep up the good work and your amazing work for the community.

I can understand why this company has many positive reviews, and I am glad others had good…read moreexperiences. Unfortunately, mine was not one of them. I hired them to install a doorbell. Instead of being upfront that this was not within their expertise, they attempted the project anyway. Throughout the process, they repeatedly asked me if I was sure and insisted their way was the only option. In hindsight, it felt less like concern and more like a way to protect themselves so they could later say I gave permission. As a client, I am not the expert, which is why I hired a professional. That approach came across as intimidation rather than guidance. When it became clear the project could not be completed, I was still charged the full price. When I raised my concern, the response was dismissive and delivered in a raised tone of voice. As a young woman alone in that situation, I felt intimidated and taken advantage of. They knew the job had not been completed successfully, yet I was still required to pay in full, which made the experience feel unfair and exploitative. Afterward, I learned the wiring issue could have been solved in a very simple way. Instead, I was left with unnecessary damage, had to clean up the entire mess by myself, and now face additional costs to repair what was left behind. Cleaning up on my own not only made the sting of the experience worse but also felt degrading. I am glad this company may work well for smaller, straightforward projects. However, if your request requires anything more complex, be cautious. Even if the work is not successful, you will still be charged in full. I was hesitant to write this review out of fear of retaliation, but I felt it was important to share my experience in case it helps someone else.
