Another company advertised a certain price and then had me on the phone for 45 minutes to yammer on about a series of added fees, including a charge for two locks because the only units they supposedly had left had two doors and I had to use their locks. Anyway, I found King's Acres and they guy was so nice. He even held the unit for me until I could get there the next day. He made it so easy..,I just filled out a form to have the rent pulled from my checking account each month and paid him a deposit and he showed me how the entry gate worked. It took less than 30 minutes. Everything was spotless in the office and in my storage unit. The units are in a nice, quiet part of town and the security seems safe. The security gate is easy to use and my unit is easy to access. I definitely recommend King's Acres.

In my own experience and opinion, the sales rep requested payment from me prior to closing escrow ,…read moreand that should have been the first red flag - I wish I could go back - the home had equipment in it already. As I recall, I declined to pay prior to officially purchasing the home, and subsequently paid for service on quarterly billing - as outlined in my service agreement. First time they came to my home, allegedly, the tech unplugged my furnaces pump - so I came home to soaking carpet, trim and dry wall - no accountability, in my opinion, from culligan in their response. They have screwed my billing up, and erroneously charged my card in error, in my opinion. Sent service techs out with the wrong salt. Their records don't match what sales or service tells them. Just - in my opinion - these guys are a mess. Totally disorganized, give no sense of being pros - in my opinion. A complete amateur hour mess - in my opinion. I would not recommend them to anyone. I even called Janesville and asked if they could service me but culligan corporate sets the service boundaries. Stay away. Buy your own equipment or find someone else. Mixed picture here. Clean laundromat. Not a given. When staff are there, they are helpful,…read moreproactive, attentive. Plenty of machines. Lots of front loaders. Three of the ginormous ones, several more a little smaller. Then many regular sized front loading and top loading machines. One problem starts here with the washing machines. The very large ones don't spin well enough. If the attendant is not there to push the machine along a little at the end, you have a very damp finished load -- that requires a fortune to dry. The large dryers were also problematic, finicky. On the top, the one next in from the left does not heat up properly. The controls for multiple machines created problems for all somewhere during their attempts to use them. The other larger dryers on the other side were much easier to use, had no issues that I could see. Laundromat has a bathroom, vending machine, a dispenser for laundry supplies, as well as a small play area for children. There are several tables to fold laundry, chairs and rolling carts with the rack to hang things from. These are all clean and in good shape. The washers/ dryers use a card system. You purchase a plastic card at a vending machine by the desk, then you load it up either with cash or from a credit card. System seems to work satisfactorily. Laundromat opens at 7:00 AM weekdays. That looks to also be the best time to get the large machines. Staff assistance is only available until 11:00 AM.
