The people working behind the glass window were as rude as they come. If you cannot find someone who will treat or talk to your paying customers with respect and morals you may want to find someone else to represent Paper Recovery. I will be sure to make sure any of my close friends or business partners NEVER use this disrespectful company again. HELP ME !!!! I am…read morenot a WM customer. Nor have I been. Have not been a WM customer since they took over service here. Last period they dropped off a recycling can. I am NOT a customer. Called them a few days ago requesting they please pick up THEIR CAN. They didn't. Calling again now. "Customer number". I don't have one. Waiting, telephone trees, irrelevant questions, runaround, TIME WASTING. At some point my municipality may fine me for having a can on the street for so long. IT IS NOT MY GARBAGE CAN. I AM NOT A WM CUSTOMER. Please pick up YOUR can !!!!!! Ok. Customer service wants me to bring THEIR CAN up the driveway to my house and PUT THEIR CAN ON THE CURB FOR THEM this Thursday. And golly gee, if they don't make it this Thursday, they want me to bring THEIR CAN back up my driveway. Then they want me to put THEIR CAN back on the curb the Thursday after that! Did I mention I use a ROLLATOR? And that the inclined driveway is full of SNOW AND ICE - plowing notwithstanding? WM is making an incredible amt of assumptions here. What if I had been out of town? Or needed to leave quickly? Then what happens with WM's RECYCLING CAN dumped on my driveway? Not encouraging as a business model.

Was quoted a price for the salvage of my car over the phone of 250.00$. Was never told anything…read moreother than that would be the price paid for the car. Checked a few other places and called back to confirm the price offer of 250.00$ and that was told to me again. When the tow driver arrived he had me sign my title on the spot over to him, and then told me he wanted to go get lunch and I could wait until the next day to be paid. I told him that wasn't acceptable. I have salvaged a car before and have always been paid on the spot. The tow driver called in and informed me that if I wanted to be paid today I needed to follow him back to the yard now and they would work it out. I followed him back, with my husband, and he drove so fast we had to speed to keep up. When we arrived he told us he would weigh the car and we had to go inside. We did this. They took my I.D. and then gave me a sheet and 157.90$. Not the agreed price. Already having my title and car taken in the back. My husband and myself said this isn't what you told us you were going to pay us, and the man, whose name on the work order is Miguel, came out of the office and began to use extreme profanity. Stating they do not give a price over the phone, that they tell you they deduct tow from the price. They did not state this, they gave a firm price over the phone. Other salvage yards in the area do not deduct for tow, we chose this one as it isn't far from our home. The employee became more abusive at our insistence that we were quoted this price and more verbally abusive and stated that he would just dump the car in the road, but he already has the title so what did we want to do? We walked out the door with him still yelling profanity at us as we left, 100$ less than we thought we would have. Do not do business with this company, they are not trustworthy.

They seemed disappointed that I already knew the weight. About a year and a half later I went there with 170 lbs of clean aluminum. I didn't mention the weight this time. They told me it was 90 lbs.
