Even though I live 300 miles from Bakersfield, Tim researched and found the best placement based on my criteria. He was kind, thoughtful and hard working. As parents age and need more care, you want to help them, but we have our own lives and responsibilities. Five years ago we moved my 92-year-old mother-in-law into a community home (Magnolia Place). It has been a wonderful place. Expensive, yes, but the service was good to above average. And, when COVID hit, we were happy Mom was in a safe place. Two years ago, when Mom's mental faculties declined, she moved into the memory care section. Again a price increase, but the family members supplemented her pension, and we could barely get by. Then, they announced a price increase for 2023. Mom, now almost 98, has severe dementia. We needed to find another place for her. At first we tried Care.com. They referred us to several places, most out of our price range. Someone mentioned we check out Bakersfield Senior Placement. We contacted Tim Kounter, and after a brief interview, we knew we were in excellent hands. Tim listened to our needs, heard about Mom, and soon we scheduled a morning to visit four different Residential Care Facilities. There's paperwork when you move into these places. Tim helped us get that in order. The four RCF's we visited were suitable for Mom's condition. Each had its own amenities. I appreciated Tim took the lead to start the interviews. He knew what questions to ask, even the tough ones. We narrowed our choices down to two. Tim offered guidance when we asked, but had no agenda on which home we chose. Bakersfield Senior Placement does not charge to help you find a place. Each home has a base fee, then a care fee dependent on the resident's need. This is a tough job for any family member, but it has to be done. It was nice to have someone like Tim to help us through the process.

Stacy, her family and her incredibly awesome staff have welcomed my Dad, and our whole family with open arms and lots of Love. They treat our Dad with respect and dignity and care for him as a member of their own family. Our family has complete peace of mind knowing Dad is in such a wonderful place. Stacy has only the best caregivers taking care of her clients. The caregivers are kind and attentive, they make sure that our Dad's every need is met. They involve their clients in games, exercise and other activities, and Dad says the food is always great! Our family can visit as often as we want. We've been continuously updated on my Dad's health condition since he arrived there, If we have any questions or concerns Stacy takes care of them immediately. This truly is an amazing place, so amazing that we've moved my Mom into Stacy's home too. My parents and our whole family are so thankful for Stacy and "Care With Love." Now, our Mom and Dad can spend all their time together again! Thank you to Stacy, your family and caregivers.

This is absolutely the best place for her. She is genuinely loved, cared for, and supported in every way she needs. My mom has shown improvement, and although she is not yet able to walk on her own, I have complete peace of mind knowing she is in such compassionate and capable hands. I cannot thank them enough for the comfort and reassurance they give me every day. The care and love my mom receives from Stacy and all of the caregivers goes far beyond anything I could have hoped for. They truly go above and beyond, always treating her with kindness, dignity, and heartfelt compassion. Knowing she is surrounded by so much love means everything to our family

You know, after reading the single-starred reviews, I just shook my head in UTTER disbelief…read more Complete, utter disbelief. The individuals posting these single-starred reviews ought to be out and out ashamed of themselves! I mean WTF? REALLY? Oh, wait, - I get it! It's all about THEM! Never once thinking about the employees and what patient load they have, their responsibility in treating patients within the "standard of care" and legally accepted protocols that govern damn near every single F*ing thing in this F*ing state due to Gruesome Newsome - as well as caring for illiterate people who know absolutely nothing about decency, respect, and consideration for others - let alone medical treatments for diagnosed, as well as undiagnosed conditions! Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. OMG! WELL, all you single-starred reviewers, I got NEWS for you. Our experience was absolutely one of concern, caring, respect and consideration for our situation. We politely requested if the TV could be turned down, and the staff bent over backwards trying to help. They couldn't get the TV remote to work, and instead of giving up, handed it to my husband (who can fix literally anything just by looking at something) and indeed, he got the TV volume reduced. NOW, how is that rude? How is it rude to ask someone to not "throw up on the floor" when throwing up on the floor causes others to become potentially exposed (in medical lingo called cross-contamination...OMG!) to whatever virus and/or bacteria the individual may have causing hyperemesis, as well as causing a tripping hazard, AND maybe making someone leave the urgent care sicker than when they came in catching that damn "throw-up" virus/bacteria!!! Use your damn BRAIN. Oh, wait, that's right...no one does that anymore because their brains are all stuck inside their iPhones...or "where the sun don't shine" - which is far more likely. P.S. A really big THANK YOU to "Ana" for being so considerate, CALLING US telling that she would walk out to the car to give a card left behind to us (when we came back) so we wouldn't have to come in to get it. EVER HEARD OF THAT????? That qualifies as a 20-star review in my book.

He has finally established a PCP but decided to come here today for an RX, she has been rude every time we have went and definitely need to go elsewhere and definitely will. Petite Caucasian female you are very very up their in age & I'm assuming have been doing this for many years. When your patients are having private conversation with you i hope you don't make all of them feel as horrible reading their paperwork as you did my son. I appreciate you writing this on there so this situation can replay & replay. A, i hope you can be compassionate with these young patients that cross paths with.
