I have been going to the salon for at least a year. And most of the time I have been OK with my…read morecut. However, this time was a horror show. I told my stylist that I wanted my hair length to be as it was and she proceeded to cut it very short. I told her I wanted a style that would lift my face as I am 77 years old. The cut she did was terrible and pulls my face down. I will not be going back there again. When you tell your stylist exactly what you would like and then they do something completely different, is very very disturbing. Oh, and she kept saying not to worry your hair will grow back. Right now I do not want to go out in public with this hair the way that it is. I am very, very embarrassed and very, very upset.

I also showed her some pictures I'd brought so there was no misunderstanding of what I wanted. She said understood and started cutting my hair. Sadly, there's no way to detect if the stylist is doing what you asked until she's done, and by then it's too late! When she finished my haircut I could tell she'd botched it! St, I paid & left. I just wanted to get out of there! I went home to see if there was anything I could do until it grew out. But when I looked in the mirror I was devastated! Not only had she ignored my description & the pictures I showed her, but my hair looked like a child had cut it. It was awful! It was uneven and stuck out in places. I couldn't believe it! The entire ordeal cost me $112 plus her $10 tip!! I've scheduled an appointment in Greenville, 2 days from today and am hoping another stylist will work some magic and find a way to fix my hair. If not, I'll have to wear a hat for awhile!

Fara, the owner, also colored my hair once for Marisol and she was awesome too as well as Kelly who once gave me a spiral perm. I have long, frizzy, hard to color brown but graying hair. From previous hairstylist, before going to Marisol/Salon LaRouge, I would get a slightly brassy result because I like the ash blonde color. I have been going to this salon for several years.
