I visited this salon in need of a "new" hair style. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door…read more I was a walk in but only had to wait about 5 minutes. Peggy came over introduced herself and asked what I would like. I explained that I was in desperate need for something new. I showed her a picture of a style I liked in a book but told her I wanted to keep more length than the style I showed her. Peggy Immediately told me she would make look like a "Diva". Peggy was extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. I will definitely be going back. Oh yeah, the price was very reasonable and well worth it! This salon is located in Anderson not Honea Path

I have been going to the shop off and on for a while when my hair needs deep conditioning or a trim…read moreand have been seeing the same person for the service. $45 or $50 with a trim for a full service on natural, easy to straighten hair is reasonable to me and Ms. Tina always does a 5 Star job! Well, Tina was not there and I needed to quickly cut and curl my brand new platinum blonde WIG, which was already installed. There was no wash, conditioner, treatment, or none of my usual services, just a cut with some curls. I was charged $45 for a 10-20 minute service. When I was told the price, I didn't balk! I just paid and left. I was literally in shock!! $45 for this service is shameful!!! Period. The worse part is that the curls ran out before the day did, and now that I straightened my hair back out, I see that the cut is uneven, longer on one side than the other and choppy. I wanted a bob, accepted a bob with layers... but this looks crazy and I'm out $45, and will have to get it cut again, making the wig shorter than I ever wanted it, forever. I tried to contact Tina yesterday at noon to see what she charges and to discuss my complaint, but she hasn't replied yet and it's 8pm the next day. I guess I am supposed to just keep walking around with my wig messed up?!. Maybe she's busy or doesn't want it to get messy, but it's rude not to talk to YOUR client about a concern. I know one thing... they sure are sticking together on this foul stuff. Never again Katrice! Addition: Tina said "life happened," which it does. But Katrice started attacking me, saying I'm "trying to act high class but don't want to pay for anything." How about charge a fair price, and deliver a good service! Screenshots of the conversation I thought was going to the owner. Truce and Tina replied... shameful!

This is by far the WORST salon I have ever been to. My daughter went for extensions. CC installed…read morethem wrong. The owner tried to fix them and AGAIN installed them wrong!! Rachel was booked to blend the extensions with my daughter's natural hair, since the owner didn't do that. Rachel stated the extensions were done wrong and she couldn't blend them and then proceeded to cut my daughters own hair after being repeatedly asked NOT to cut her own hair. Rachel was well aware my daughter was trying to grow her own hair out from damage done by another salon. my daughter left in tears. DO NOT TRUST THESE LADIES WITH YOUR HAIR. Would give 0 stars but that is not an option.

WARNING!!!!! I made THE most horrific mistake of my life going to this salon. Absolutely…read more... under no circumstances, I don't care if you're desperate...DO NOT let Savannah touch your head!!! I had extensions tht were put in from another stylist in another state & when I moved here & needed a new stylist, I chose Southern Styles. I can't find the words to justify how badly I'd love to just shave this woman's head in retaliation to what she's done to my hair. To begin with, when she re taped my extensions, they continuously fell out. Then, I was going to re order some new ones, she was more familiar with, but while waiting for those to come in I chose a style (showed her a pic) asked her to style my hair like the pic, my hair was a little longer than the style in the pic but, she was well aware my reason for the extensions was because another stylist had butchered me, so I was wearing them until my hair grew out,so under no circumstances did I want my hair shorter. I mean my extensions were to the middle of my back.... I also wanted low lights...needless to say...she not only butchered my hair so short, I mean literally cut off every inch that had grown from my wearing the extensions for 4 months, but took off additional to the point it's too short to have extensions put back in AND my low lights came out SUPER chunky and purple! I literally busted into tears in her chair,I was beyond horrified and she had the audcity to chrge me $95.00. I've since found a new stylist who almost died when she did my consultation stating the color on my hair was such a disaster, she couldn't even figure out a guide point so I'm having to go with an all over solid color and just forced to wait for a few several months until I can have extensions put in again. If u love your hair as much as I do stay as far away from Savannah as u possibly can.

Women with curly/wavy hair know what a blessing it is to find someone adept at cutting it and Joan…read moreis that person! My mom has been going to the Hair Loft - in Molly's great care - for at least 15 years. While visiting, I impulsively asked if I could get a hair cut and they squeezed me in. Bear in mind, I have been cutting (hacking) at my hair myself for about 6 years. Joan never hesitated to understand the assignment and I couldn't believe how many times she went back in to snip and shape a few more places. The result is more volume, wave, and curls than I have ever seen on my head. The difference a professional haircut makes is huge and Joan made me a convert! The price was beyond reasonable, too. What a gem!
