I hired H2O Away to remedy the situation. They sent some guys out. I checked the crawlspace afterwards and the work wasn't completed. After some back and forth they sent a different crew out. They also put a dehumidifier down there as agreed. Unfortunately the dehumidifier was pointless as the work still wasn't completed and the mold wasn't remedied. The original person I spoke to ghosted me but I found someone else to talk to. They offered to come out and try a third time but we agreed instead to terminate our business relationship and pay a discounted amount. I get that paying for staff and equipment costs money, but in the end I still paid about $2k for services that had approximately $0 value to me as I still needed to do the work myself. A contractor friend of mine said to be really careful about who you get to work in your crawlspace. Companies that work down there get the lowest paid, least qualified guys to do those undesirable jobs. As at my house, they often don't actually complete the work because most homeowners won't go down there to verify it was actually done. I am inclined to agree. I would guess that many of the positive reviews are from people who trusted that the work was done rather than verifying it themselves. The picture is from after their second visit. Stay way from H2O Away.

They did come really quickly, but all they did when they got there was mark what was wet. It was odd. This happened right before we went on vacation, and luckily they said they would be able to take care of it in the week we were out of town. In my mind- take care of it meant get everything fixed, I was so wrong. The day we were flying home, an HVAC guy we had never met or been in contact with called to say he could not install our heat because our house was such a mess. I was shocked and called H20 Away to see what had happened. Our coordinator was not in contact with the people who were at our house and had no idea. We ended up coming home from our trip to no heat, no water, and a house that looked like it had been torn up by animals. We had NO idea they were going to remove our shower, all of our cabinets and countertops, our stove, and our HVAC. This was all done without our knowledge. Our coordinator and scheduler never really knew what was happening inside the house, which was super challenging. The project took about a month, with barely any progress happening on each visit. We also had a different HVAC guy show up at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday. I called H20 away to ask about it and they said they gave him our door code and figured we wouldn't be home. WTF? This scared us. I was grateful they worked with our insurance directly, but they really misled us in terms of the scope of work, how long it would take, the quality of the work, etc. Our house is completely torn up. The contractor they recommended we work with to fix it has 2 stars on Yelp, so I will just be cutting contact with them going forward since our insurance has already paid them out (for an OBSCENE amount based on the work they did). The people are nice and they came over quickly, but the work itself as well as the communication and schedule was super disappointing.

I had the pleasure of working with Randy. We needed repairs done in our master bathroom, where the roof had failed, and left a huge mold spot on our ceiling. The spores had also spread over time, and left a musty smell in the house. Randy was very professional, showed up on-time for our initial consultation, and honest about his assessment. Admittedly, it took us a couple of weeks before we reached out to schedule an appointment (life happens!), and we were pleasantly surprised that Randy was unavailable due to business travel regarding mold solutions - that's a man dedicated to his job! There ended up being a scheduling conflict with the original work day, but Randy called us to make sure we would be okay with the slight delay. He still finished the work well within our time frame, and we are thoroughly happy with the results! The ceiling looks great now and there's no more musty smell in the house!

I had a leak in the line going to one of my B and Bs. And needed it fixed. I'm a full time caretaker now and can't leave my house for long. Bye the time there sales man came the water was terned off. found the leak exposed the line. Called at 1:00 Plummer was not out tell 5. Worked done 6:30. Thats just shy of 5000.00 for 4 foot of pole line 2 clamps. 2 barbs. Brake down of price was 450.00 for parts. For 20.00 in parts. That's a 2150% mark up 500.00 for equipment. Truck, shovel, shop vac. 2 tools. 3500.00 laber.... Plummer was boots on the ground for 1 1/2 hr. With drive time 3 hr. I do know that bid was for 5 ft of ground work. Any more would have add to the price. Had there been any more brakes in the line. Talked to manger just so you know there average cost is 1000.00 an hr. Plus tax equipment and parts. Also the plummer told my b and b guest that the filters where dirty is why the water was discolered resolting in a reimbursement for there stay. The water is discolered any time you turn water off on a well. Most times clears in 24 hr. Just wont to put this out there so some ones grandma dose not get fleeced bye this company. If you call around this should have been in the 1000.00 range.... even the sales man when talking to the Plummer was saying it was supper easy job. No rocks or roots. Already know where the leak is. Know what parts you need. Let my buyers remorse. Be your keep calling around. In the end find your local Plummer. Have more then on you can call. But if you need to call roto rooter know its bid work. And bid at 1000.00 an hr plus tax. Parts and equipment.

So when we needed all our drywall jointed remudded after popcorn removal, we decided to hire ABC. Three whole days of work. We hired Vitaliy to help us renovate our upstairs bathroom due to a leak. He replaced the floor and…read moreinstalled a brand new walk-in shower. As much as I would have loved it I'm so disappointed with the outcome. The first time I took a shower I mentioned to him that the shower base creaks loudly, and he told me he put expanding foam to help it, but if that doesn't work then there's nothing else he can do unless I buy another base. It doesn't make any sense as this was all brand new. Also he states that the shower base was made from cheap material, that's why he says it creaks. I can assure you it was not cheap at all. I spent an approximate $1,200 on that walk-in shower so I'm sure it's not because it's made from "cheap" material. The only areas that don't creak are the edges where he used the foam. However, right in the middle of the shower base is where it creaks the most, and when you press on it, you can tell there isn't any cushion between the floor and the base. As more days have passed, I've noticed a lot of imperfections from his work. He left a big scratch and two holes in my wall, he has left boot marks on the shower base that I can't get rid of, the glass doors constantly keep sliding down and they are not parallel to the walls so water escapes, he didn't finish the baseboard around the vanity, and finally, the metal carpet trim that transitions from the bathroom floor to hallway was placed crooked - one side is in the middle of the door frame while the other side extends past it. I did have to ask him to come back a second time because the leak was not resolved. Thankfully he found that problem and fixed it. However I spent good money on this remodel and I'm not satisfied with the outcome. I have spent too much time trying to look for someone else to fix this issue since he said there's nothing else he can do. Overall I thought I was getting a good deal for this renovation but in the end it's costing me more to fix a problem I didn't even start with. What a nightmare! Would not recommend this business to anyone!
