Had some time to kill and was lured by a nail calling siren. I answered the call. Ben was the nail tech that did my beautiful full set of nails . I had so much to choose from but decided to go full regular set and a reddish purple color. While we did our nails the tv was on one of those morning shows which was quite entertaining and distracting too while did nails. He has so many steps and did them all with precision. I'm writing this review as the pedicure going on. Heard good things about this place from the other mall employees, but was hesitant from reading all the other yelp reviews. I decided to give it a shot since my feet were looking a little sad. Came in during my lunch break and asked how long the wait was for a pedicure. The young man (maybe 15) said about 10 minutes. Ok fine. Went to get a smoothie in the mean time. They had the water ready for the pedi by the time I got back. Ok here's where it gets weird. The young man I mentioned earlier starts to take off the polish from my toes. A little weird, but I just thought he was just prepping them for the actual nail tech. Nope!! He then goes to the lady next to me and starts to give her a massage. Um, first, he's 15. I don't really want a 15 year old boy touching my legs. Second, why start the pedi if the actual nail tech isn't ready yet. The actual pedicure was just ok. The bubbles were not turned on in the foot spa. I had black nail polish on before and then decided to go with French tip. All girls know that black nail polish is hard to take off. I noticed when I got home that there were still specks of black nail polish on the sides of my nail...mind you, visible through the French tip!!! He touched the nail polish a few times while he was painting. Seriously, I only had an hour for lunch so these mistakes added up. One star for the decent foot/leg rub. All this was done by the nail tech, not the 15 year old. They all were busy with clients. I understand they want to get to everyone so they can make their money, but what happened to quality of work?! Does that not exist anymore?? 2 stars for the massage and because they were nice people. I enjoy when they talk to me while getting a pedi. It takes away some of the awkwardness. Anyway I will not be returning to this place, even though it's a convenient location and is cheaper than my regular nail salon I frequent near my house. $30 for pedi with French tip...not a bad price. Well, I asked for a gel manicure and ended up with acrylics. They don't speak great English so when they said something to me, nodding and smiling, I thought they were going to continue with the gel manicure. Instead they started using a drill on the top of my nail and then cut my nails down to the ends. I had been growing my nails out for weeks and they just chopped them off. I tried to say no, I don't want that, but he didn't understand what I was saying. Now that my hands were butchered, they offered to put acrylics on. I don't like acrylics, but what other choice did I have? The only worse part was the man had warts on his hands. No bandaids or anything, just open sores on his hands and fingers while he was holding my hands. I washed my hands constantly when I got home. God, I hope I don't get any warts. read more

They are never too busy, and they're great with kids! My 11yr old likes to tag along and they have a special cheaper rates for them. They even painted my toddlers nails just to entertain her for free. Most of the workers are pretty friendly some keep a little more to themselves but always great nails done and fair prices $25 pedi, mani+pedi $35, gel color mani $35. They even do waxing. I should've read the Google map reviews before coming here. Excuse my crappy cuticles also lol but I go in to get an acrylic set before my California trip today and within the first 10 minutes I'm already wishing I went somewhere else. They charge extra just to do a different shape which some nails are shaped crooked, then after she puts on thr acrylic on my left hand I notice that she didn't even take my original nail polish off completely then says she tried to drill it off but my nail had holes in it? Why not use nail polish remover? So she says she'll take them off but I wasn't about to be there another half hour so I was able to keep the original price I had paid. After I had told her about the nail polish she rushed through the rest of the service and I had to ask her to keep making my nails smooth because she was making the edges on top square and not natural. There's little fuzzy hairs underneath the acrylic and shadows because the acrylic is too thick in some places. She didn't apply cuticle oil at the end and ran off after putting me in front of a fan. She made me feel like I was asking for too much when she was the one who was doing a half assed job. And to top it off, my nails are already coming up on the sides after ONE day. This nail salon is not customer friendly. I went in with my best friend looking to get manicures, I got gel and she got regular polish. The lady started my nails, but left my friend hanging out at a table for 15 minutes before having someone else start her. No word or anything to assure her there would be help on the way. I told her from the beginning I wanted a design, where I wanted it, and so on. Spiderwebs. (For halloween) and she said ok and we moved on. She pulled out these nail transfer things and laid them on my nails so unevenly, enough for me to ask if they could be fixed. She nodded and then proceeded to finish my nails with a top coat and tell me I was on my way. When I asked again for it to be fixed (3rd or 4th time asking) she nodded, looked at my nails and proceeded to do NOTHING about them. My friend's nails you can see through! The color was not thick at all. After her rushed manicure, the technician then started doing her OWN nails instead. Both employees were on their phones periodically during the session. She took the card and ran it through their system. She then came back and said they "oh, we don't take American Express." I informed the pedicurist that I had cash in my car and I would be right back. She became extremely upset and demand I give her my iPhone until I returned. I declined and asked her to have mall security escort me to my car to get the cash. She refused and yelled at me to go sit down. A man from the salon noticed her inappropriate behavior and told me that I can leave for no charge and he asked her to calm down. But she refused. Instead she aggressively came from behind the counter causing me to back up into a comer. She proceeded to stomp several times on each of my feet. I was a client for the past few years, will never return. I brought my sister for a brow wax and her left brow was over waxed. My sister attempted to speak to the woman who performed the service and asked what could be done to even them out. The employee was upset about something else and proceeded to be rude with us. During the service she was pulled out twice by another employee. I get that she took us in without an appointment and it was appreciated, but the lack of respect ended my business with them. We were going to pay the $10 even though the service was not good and her attitude changed it all. She told us she didn't have time for us and to never come back. I don't plan to return and rather pay triple the price as long as we are no longer treated so rude. I never expected for this employee to be so rude, let alone have her teenage daughter taunt us with her smart comments as we left. I am not one for conflict, therefore we left. when i first walked in i was greeted and told a 30 minute wait, this was at 2:55pm, i wasn't seated until 4. i was calm they only had two people in there so i shrugged it off. then the lady proceeded to tell me that if i wanted long nails it was a $5 fee so i asked her to show me how long i can get them without the fee.. i kid you not it was maybe a centimeter of nail, making it look like i don't even have acrylics on. then i explained i wanted a french tip painted in my color instead of the whole nail... once again she said it's gonna be a $5 fee. I have come here 3 times, mainly because it's near me, last second appointments and I need my nails done quick but I'm never satisfied. First time was to redo my gels and when the girl was sanding my nails she was too busy chatting away and was grinding my nails down to paper and cut my fingers with the file bit. Second time I tried getting acrylics and asked if she could do a certain simple glitter design she assured me yes, talked to someone else in the salon in a language I couldn't understand and they began youtubing right in from of me and doing her first try on me. This last time I went about a year and a half time from the last thinking maybe I'd give them a chance and asked for a simple gel design. She said de could do it but took so long and didn't even do well. Not even a week later..4 days to be exact, my gels are already chipping and looking bad and I rarely do work that would damage them. Lisa did my deluxe pedicure tonight. She was the sweetest lady and did a really great job! For just $40, she applied callus remover, did a sea salt scrub that smelled SO FLOWERY GOOD, applied some sort of thick lotiony foot mask, wrapped hot steamy towels around my feet and legs, and then proceeded to do all the normal pedicure stuff... She took her time and was even kind enough to ask if I wanted the water a little hotter (which I did). The only thing that was a little lacking was the massage, but I never expect a good footrub anyway. (That's what foot spas are for!)
