I came here for my birthday last week to get a regular polish mani-pedi. Throughout my appointment, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted gel instead of regular polish, which felt like they were constantly trying to upsell me. My pedicure was great and the technician took her time, paid attention to detail, and did a really nice job. I was very happy with that part of my visit. Unfortunately, my manicure was a completely different experience. Right after I told the manicure technician I wanted regular polish, she started applying a gel top coat, so I had to stop her and remind her that I wasn't getting gel. She also rushed through the manicure, leaving polish missing along the sides of every nail and around the cuticles. I wasn't sure how to point it out in the moment without making things awkward, so I stayed quiet. To make matters worse, they brought me my receipt while I was still getting my nails done, and I noticed they had charged me for a gel mani-pedi instead of regular polish. I had to correct them yet again. I paid around $60-70 before tip, which I think is far too expensive for the quality of service I received. Within just two days, my manicure had already started chipping, and it became even more obvious where the polish had been missed. Now, only a week later, my nails look so worn and chipped that there's no point in keeping the polish on. While I really appreciated the quality of the pedicure, the manicure and overall experience were disappointing. Probably the most time-managed and organized nail salon I have EVER been to. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment to the very end of my visit, the staff was extremely kind, professional, and courteous. The technicians were friendly and welcoming. None of them looked unhappy, nor did they seem like they were forcing a smile--they genuinely looked happy to be there, which made the atmosphere so comfortable. We arrived around 4 PM, and our services took about an hour and a half. Without hesitation, one of the managers (I believe) offered us a discount for having to wait a little longer than our scheduled time--a thoughtful gesture that I really appreciated. I also loved how efficient they were. They even have a staff member dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing, which allows the technicians to focus on starting their next client right away. Very smart and organized! I chose the Milk & Honey pedicure, and it was both amazing and relaxing--it smelled just as good as it felt. The shop itself is beautiful and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd rate my acrylic pedicure a 7 out of 10 as the acrylic toes don't even look the same; they're different sizes AND I got my brows done....they charge $20 which is insane but then she didn't even do my brows in a separate room. She literally had me sit in a nail chair by the door; while it was open and freezing last night, to do my brows next to women who were getting their nails done. Beyond unprofessional. I came here before a big trip. It was my first visit here and I'll say the front desk gentleman was so helpful and sweet. Brian the manager was also incredible. I came in for a pedicure and a gel-x full set. Unfortunately i just got a nail technician that was not on her game that day. When i first arrived she did not greet me just asked what i wanted. When i showed her my nail inspo, she said okay, but then halfway though said she couldn't do the design. She made my nails crooked 3 times and had to remove and fix the nail to get it straight. Somehow one of the nails still ended lopsided. She was on her phone on FaceTime the entire time she did my nails. Sometimes she shoved the phone in my face and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. My nails were bleeding and raw from how many times she dipped my nails in alcohol and acetone from having to re-do my nails. My cuticles bled for 2 weeks. When i brought this up to the manager, he was very kind and offered me 20% off and bandaged my nail and offered to fix them if i came back. Somehow after the discount i still paid 140$ for the bloody and crooked mani and pedi. Brian and the front desk gentleman are so kind and sweet. I've been coming here for maybe three years and every time it's a different price for the same length for no, the owner favorites certain customers get certain prices. I have proof because my mom is one of these loyal customers who does not pay as much as I do. They look at me weird with my tattoos. I had to ask one lady two times stop squeezing my damn finger. I paid almost the same price for a full set for two fills. That's $100 just for two nails a break later and they wanna charge me $20 a finger to fix them. I will never be coming here again.
