    Two Men and a Truck

I hired Two Men & a Truck for my move from Port St Lucie to Lakeland because I've used the…read morefranchise for three moves before. All of those prior moves would have received five stars for their reviews - professional movers who were always faster than their estimates. This move deserves zero stars. First move for me where I needed to store my stuff for a week in between houses. No clear explanation that the estimate I received was for only the first half of the move. Final bill was FOUR times the amount I paid for my last move. You may understand your method of operating but your customers don't do this on a daily basis. Care enough about them to make sure they completely understand how much they owe before the move. Movers were not the quick and careful movers of before. Plus I had to argue with the movers for several minutes when they finally got to my new house that they could NOT block my neighbor's driveway. The computer monitors they packed for me came out scratched because they were wrapped with the end of the cord against the screens. Constantly asked, "where does this go?" without removing the wrap around the furniture. Sorry, but I don't have x-ray eyes. Needless to say, I will NOT use Two Men & a Truck in the future.

They were more expensive than many other quotes, but I decided they could be trusted for the move. The two men packed and moved me and everything was fine, until I discovered that some very expensive things were missing. It would be my word against theirs, so there was nothing I could do. They did a good job moving, but I will never use this company again because of the theft.

Moving day, they were on time, wrapped furniture, handled everything with care, even put together beds for me and my mother. Very reliable, budget friendly and very careful with your things. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend.

I was referred to them by an acquaintance, and they were available the same day. I wonder why?…read more I I wanted to support a small business, and this young man is trying to build a company. However, they damaged my former apartment walls and banisters, as well as a new wall in my new apartment and Many items. I had them specifically marked fragile. They like to put everything on a dolly and move it down the steps and they make a lot of noise, and they made a lot of errors. I had to endure the owner getting into an argument with someone he hired for the day, they had to stop the job, while leaving my personal property in the middle of my stairwell until I told him they had to put it back into my apartment. He came back two hours later with another worker. While they worked hard and fast...DAMAGE!!!! I think it would be beneficial for the owner, Marvin, to learn to be more professional, learn to speak to his clients properly, and don't take 1 million phone calls from new clients while you're still working and on the clock for your client that has hired you for the day. I am most upset that the attitude of nonchalant was very present. I worked hard for my belongings, no broken items, I have to pay to apartment buildings for the damage that they did. I would say this. If you have like just a couch or just one or two items to move, then, yes use them but for any big jobs you're asking for a disaster and you're not going to be happy. Oh I'm sorry. Did I mention that the owner provided my personal business to my neighbor downstairs . Real professional, not. Go with college hunks or Anderson moving going forward. But of course that's your choice and if you want your stuff messed up and you want someone who gives you an attitude, then stay with On Shore! So, so disappointing! Also, please be advised that he is going to insist and push you towards zelling him. He will try and tell you that there are large processing fees for using a credit card. The fee was only $30. That's nothing. I feel as though he wants to be receiving the cash because he knows of his inconsistency and the goal is to hurry up and get the job done and collect the money and who cares what happens to your stuff along the way. Shady shady shady. .
