When they came over, we had a good meeting, saw the house, and booked a first clean. Maids arrived about 10 minutes late. What can you do. Very reasonable. Amanda and Jennifer got to work right away. They did all the items on my list, then a few more. I found the faucets were super shiny after they left. I won't lie, I didn't expect them to get under the beds. But they did, and that unique for a cleaning company. The care was above normal. Found a few small areas that I needed better attention to , and I let the manager know. Unfortunately, both the initial service quality and owner communication fell far short of professional standards. The Cleaning: Despite booking a deep clean package where the owner initially assured us that "roughly 8 to 10 hours to do it properly" would be sufficient for our home size (quoted as 2 cleaners working for 4 hours total), basic move-in tasks were either completely skipped or executed poorly on the first pass: * Kitchen & Appliances: Behind the fridge was filthy and clearly untouched (heavy dust, grime, and debris on the floor/baseboards), despite cleaning behind appliances being explicitly listed on their deep clean checklist. The rest of the kitchen was far below deep-clean standards. * Bathrooms: On the initial clean, countertops were left with sticky residue, the shower and adjacent wall had heavy buildup, drawer and cupboard interiors were neglected, light fixtures were caked in dust, and dust was clinging to the wall behind the toilet. (Note: The return team sent back later did properly clean the bathrooms). * Property Damage & Neglect: Removing window tape residue left visible scratches up and down the window trims, and garage corners were left covered in heavy cobwebs. * Note: To their credit, the carpet cleaning team did a good job, the inside of the oven was cleaned, and the garage floor was swept. Communication & Management: The owner's communication was dismissive and extremely unprofessional throughout: * Scheduling Chaos & Broken Promises: Prior to booking, the owner explicitly emailed, "If anything changes for timing start time for the day. I'll update you closer to the day." However, she never contacted us. When I had to initiate contact myself at 7:00 PM the night before to confirm our start time, she responded near 8:00 PM telling me our confirmed 8:00 AM start was moved and accused me of "applying a lot of pressure." In a follow-up email, she vaguely stated that one cleaner would arrive at 10:00 AM, another "a later I think," and the carpet guys "sometime in morning." Despite telling us to plan for 10:00 AM, cleaners then showed up abruptly at 8:21 AM without notice. * Hostile Responses & Budget Issues: Prior to booking, the owner assured me, "In regards to the price, I don't think it'll be an issue. I think we will be able to get everything done for you based on the budget and job scope you've set out so don't stress about that. I think you'll get the full package." Yet, when I brought the missed areas to her attention, she became hostile and complained they were "over budget." She claimed 12 cleaning hours were used because one of the carpet cleaners had to stop carpet cleaning to help the house cleaners because they were falling behind--and tried to shift blame onto us. Rather than taking accountability, she wrote back stating, "I'm extremely unhappy working with you as well. This has been nothing but a nightmare no matter how hard we try," and blamed my husband for not catching everything on the spot. While they did send a crew back who successfully rectified the bathrooms, a true "move-in deep clean" shouldn't require the client to inspect, document, and fight to get advertised checklist items properly done in the first place. I would not recommend this company. Note: Based on my experience, the owner will likely respond to this review with another defensive comment about how I was asking too many questions prior to the clean--simply because I was trying to clarify timelines and ensure the quoted hours would actually cover a proper deep clean for our home size.

I saw a promotional add, and pricing, in the Coffee News publication and decided to give this company a shot at cleaning my carpets. The receptionist was very pleasant and was able to book my appointment a few days out. However, the morning of my 8:00am appointment I received a phone call (at 7:20am) saying the technician had called in sick and they were unable to honour my appointment. Now, I understand that people get sick and stuff happens, but I find it ridiculous that they didn't have another person able to fill in on short notice, or squeeze me in at the end of their day. (I had spent hours preparing my home for this service, and it was not in "livable" condition with furniture moved around and things placed in other rooms. Waiting another couple of days for a "make-up" appointment was NOT an option.) As a small-business owner myself, sometimes I work long days just to keep my clients satisfied. People set aside time out of their busy lives to meet service people at the scheduled time and then end up getting cancelled on. Not great business practices, by my standards.
