I had repeated negative experiences trying to get this work done from this company over a span of 4 months. I am still just in shock that I was treated how I was. I can't believe a company that would ever want future business from ANYONE would behave this way. The company was repeatedly not meeting commitments and instead of being conciliatory the female office worker was immediately argumentative and belligerent towards me each time I questioned the repeated delays and finally when the work was left undone. A VERY substantial amount of the replacement they told me they would do is still not done, and I will be lucky now if I can get it done before winter, as it is now September. I am forced now to start over with another company, as if AMG were never here. As soon as I posted a heartfelt review, which was negative, as that was my experience, the female office worker called my husband and threatened legal action if I did not remove it. This was the second time they threatened legal action against us. This appears to be a pattern with her, since she's not only done it to us twice, I've seen several other reviews mention she did the same thing to them when they left negative reviews. In response to AMG Gutter October 11,2018 comment to my post: We must have very different definitions of "accommodating" and "last minute." I called you a week prior to my June 6 appointment to REMIND you that I needed the old gutters removed first so I could paint and replace wood. You were unable to make it out before then and you did not even remove the old gutters until June 13 (hmm, not very last minute). I then waited over two weeks (June 29) and multiple (missed) appointments after the removal before I started getting quotes from other companies. Unfortunately, you could not "accommodate" my need for gutters. I went with another company and they were installed within four days. read more

We had AMG install our gutters the job was good very satisfied However we later got in touch with them to install leaf guards. I had several conversations on pricing and we felt they were to high price but I did feel obligated in giving them a chance since they installed our gutters. The price I was quoted was to high so I shopped it out and found another company with a better price so we had it done. My wife later called AMG back for some more gutter work to be done. The person on the phone had asked my wife if we were still interested in getting the leaf guards done my wife said we already had them done by another company. The person at AMG got very upset and said we will not entertain doing any more work for you. I called her myself and said to her you can't dictate to me on how to spend my money. We saved a few bucks and had it done. I told her if you are going to run your business that way you will not be in business much longer if that is how you are going to treat your customers. This company has the very worst customer service! Alicia in the office is defensive and rude. Not even sure she shared my problems with Joe. The month following his work, I have water in basement, eaves overflowing with rain fall, patio that cant handle the amount of water coming from eaves and from downspout that directly empties onto brick patio. Joe refused to replace downspout, which was the reason for me hiring them, because it wasn't needed! None of this is their problem! Have called numerous times, sent video of eaves overflowing, sent e-mails, etc. she said I could call every day and it wouldn't help! I wish I could post the video on here. Avoid this company! Poor design and craftsmanship of gutters especially on gutter covers that drain very slow. Poor follow-up for customer problems. I did water test and found some problems I wanted checked and corrected. Called to have someone back to look at concerns and was told they were in business for 28 years and would not to come back unless we paid additional $$ up front! read more

AMG Gutters and Downspouts are not responsive to issues after gutter replacement. We have two inches of water in our basement when it rains and three weeks later can not get anyone out to even look at the gutter. Another contractor working on our home says they are hung incorrectly and water was sitting in the gutter days after it had rained. read more

No stars for them! Where do I even start? Office help (OWNER) was a monster. They messed up the simple job and refused to come back ever. Kept putting us off every time we called them.
