My mother and I needed to get a new HVAC system in our condo. After having AM Botte/Good to Go come out to repair the unit, it was time to just get a new HVAC system. We were given a quote with 4 options from Dan Gillespie, the installation coordinator. We went with the best option and immediately set up the installation day. Dan was very good at guiding us in the right direction and to ensure the approval process went smoothly. Installation day was just the other day and done by Eric Blanchard and another young guy, whom can't remember his name. They were so professional and thorough with their work. Tech was a good guy.. overcharged for a simple fix from outside unit not running.. felt like I had to haggle with the tech for the price which seems weird.. unit is 5 years old installed by A.M Botte and the last 3 summers I've had them out for different reasons.. I used to recommend A.M Botte to everyone but I'm not sure anymore. read more

We purchased a new HVAC system from A M Botte last fall, and recently had our first seasonal service call. Technician Lawrence Johnson was prompt, friendly and thorough. We're still a little fuzzy on the digital thermostat (we're old school), so Lawrence took the time to explain how to adjust the settings. The unit we replaced was a dinosaur. The new system has produced the results we hoped for. It is a much more efficient system, and we see the results in our utility bill. read more

New system installed passed inspection...not happy with a couple things they left for me to do...system running good

Called in the morning for an Air Conditioning repair and they sent a tech out within hours. Daniel was amazing and explained everything perfectly. Thankfully we had only a minor problem that he was able to fix quickly. Prices were reasonable and we were advised of cost prior to anything being done. AM Botte installed out HVAC and ducts about 3 years ago. They did a great job for about 40% cheaper than other companies we had quotes from. Only issue I had was that I wish they were a little more knowledgeable about smart thermostats. We got a Google Home thermostat and it gave out because the electric current to the thermostat was too inconsistent. They warned us beforehand that smart thermostats had a reputation for bugs, but they didn't really know why. Anyways, just finished inspection from the borough today (years late) and everything still checks out and the heat/ac still work great! We switched to a more basic digital thermostat. read more

They'll come out, won't fix anything, and then charge you $250 and say they'll need to come back out. My technician was afraid of getting wet, so he didn't even look at my unit. Said he'd have to come back another day when the light drizzle wouldn't melt him. For another charge. And then never got another call back. Good riddance, don't want them to break a nail doing any actual work. read more

We had them install mini split air conditioning. The experience was good, the sales guy was awesome, no pressure, honest and knowledgeable. The office people were pleasant with no issues. The installers were on time and did a great job, they didn't mind explaining what they were doing. Clean up was excellent and the unit has been running for a year with no issues. The only thing I can't comment on is how they do fora service call but hopefully we won't need for a while. I had to come and leave a review based on the terrible service and lack of respect I've gotten from other contractors in the S Jersey area this year for other projects, dealing with AM Botte was a pleasure in comparison. read more

I called for a service tech to come look at my AC. It was 84 degrees in my house over the weekend. I called several places that either didn't get back to me or couldn't get to me today. AM sent someone out by late afternoon, the tech came in and diagnosed the issue right away. Super nice guy, tried his best to educate me on the problem! I will use them again in the future. I appreciate the great service (Craig) provided, I appreciated the service being affordable and I appreciate them keeping their promise and getting out to me by the end of the day. Twice in 4mo, we've called on AM Botte for our newly purchased home and each time they have delivered above and beyond service. Our first issue was our heat and the second was our AC. Someone wrote in reviews they have great rates. Awesome rates! For 10 min job I was charged almost $300. I understand it was Sunday, but daytime, not middle of the night! Diagnostic they charged me was done by my main AC guy by FaceTime from another state vacation... Replacement part cost was about $25-30... and charge $300 for it? Lawyers have better rates. Don't use them unless you like to overpay :( read more

This review is nearly 1 full year after install of several mini-split air conditioning units in our house. The units were installed in the summer of 2020, and they have been working consistently well throughout the year. Dustin and Joe and the whole team were knowledgeable, patient, professional, and responsive during the entire process. Dustin responded to questions via text and email seemingly at any hour of the day. He took the time to talk me and my wife through all our questions/concerns, and the company did a beautiful job with installing the units and making everything function well and look great. I am not one to write reviews, but I am just so livid at this company that I feel compelled to. We went with this company per the recommendation from our electrician who we trusted. We replaced our 30+ year HVAC (which we were having no issues with it was just old) and had central air installed 2 years ago. The installation was great and we were initially really happy with our results. Fast forward 2 years and we are having nothing but issues and this company clearly doesn't care because they already made their money. This past winter shortly after the birth of our baby, our heater went down and the temperature dropped to 56 degrees over night. I called the company and we were told that we should've had a maintenance package on it which we were never told about at install (trust me my husband and I would have done it) which would have prevented this issue. I should've wrote a negative review then but I was so caught up in mom life that I didn't think about it. I was so concerned about my baby's health that night. I had her dressed in 2 onesies, a swaddle and put a blanket over her bassinet (something you're not supposed to do) and stayed up all night just praying she'd be safe. You would have thought I would have gotten a courtesy apology call from the company which would have gone a long way but I didn't. I purchased a maintenance package at that point and was told that someone would call us to schedule our annual maintenance for our AC unit. Surprise surprise, no one called. Now last week our 2 year old AC went down and it went up to 80 degrees in our house. I called again and a tech came out who looked like he was fresh out of high school and didn't know what was wrong with it. He said his manager would reach out to us with next steps. I communicated to the tech how important temperature control is with a baby and to expedite he process as much as he could. As of today I am still awaiting a phone call. I am really disappointed in this company and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I shouldn't be having issues with units that are basically brand new, and it's the last thing I should be worrying about right now with a young baby. In retrospect I shouldn't have replaced my 30+ year old unit that was working fine, and I should have kept window units in because I would have saved myself $14k and the hassles I'm currently experiencing. read more

Anthony and his company is one of the best as far as I'm concerned. I'm a Realtor and I call them all the time, mostly rush jobs for them to do. My clients only have great things to say about them and they always tell me his prices were reasonable. AM Botte came highly recommended to me by multiple people, I had an issue In June and Sam came right away and the issue was resolved, however my experience this time was complete opposite. I had someone come out to look at my AC and before he even looked at my system he was telling me i should just replace it, he glanced at my condenser outside and said "well one problem is that your condenser is 17 years old" he just stared at me when I immediately responded that my house was built in 2010 and it was impossible, immediately backpedaled and said "oh my bad I guess the date is inverted" I told him where I saw water dripping from but he continued to push a total replacement instead of inspecting my system. I asked some questions and he just brushed me off and changing the subject back to total replacement. I paid $85 (after two reschedules on AMs part) for someone to try to take advantage of me. My invoice says I declined a leak test but I wasn't even offered one! As he was leaving he told me that in a few months he will be moving into new sales , guess he was practicing ! read more

DISHONEST COMPANY! If we could leave 0 star for their service, we would. We had some issue with the air conditioner so we called them. The guy came over within 2 hours, which is great. However, they absolutely didn't mention anything about the service charge of $79+tax on the phone. The service guy came by and check and gave us a quote for approximately $700 to TEMPORARILY fix the AC. He said he checked the filter and everything else and they looked fine. He said the AC probably needed more refrigerant. At around $700 price tag, we didn't go with them. We called another HVAC technician to come out that night. He said we only needed a new filter. That was it. An inexpensive fix and our AC has been running fine since. I don't know where the $700 price tag coming from but we are very glad we didn't go with them. And please mention the service charge before dispatching the service man to your customers. Had they done that, we wouldn't have wasted our time and money with them. DISHONEST COMPANY! read more
