He stressed that the repairman (Calvin I think was his name) was busy through at least a couple of weeks but that I should text some pictures of what we wanted done to a certain number and he would get back to us. I did as requested, but no response came. We followed up with additional emails, and then another call when I was told that Calvin was very busy but would get back to me. Two months later, and I haven't heard back from them. Would I love to hire them? Yes. Would I pay them to do the jobs we need? Yes! Will they ever get back to me? We shall see...

However when the job started I didn't realize Jeff wouldn't be involved much at all. Instead the Foreman running the job didn't share the same values as Jeff, He is actually a complete HACK and I would never let him in my home again. Jeff's price was by far not the cheapest but I thought it would be worth it for a job well done. Instead all the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC was done by the foreman who clearly has no business to be in that line of work. It was all done incorrectly, with many shortcuts taken. He also lied and cheated his way through every inspection process that clearly needed to be done. After many missed deadlines, a job that was estimated to take 8 weeks was stretched to over 20 weeks where I was finally forced to remove this company from the job and spend more time and money finishing with other contractors. After just a few short months I am already having issues with the work McDonald Construction performed.

Sure, the windows and doors…read morelook nice and operate smoothly, however the job has remained unfinished for a month. 2 of 3 doors are not caulked or sealed (I can fit my fingers between the frame and wall) and all of the windows were left without caulk not to mention entirely skipping the touch up paint. The windows/doors look fine from afar, but they let bugs inside. I was under the impression Bennett was coming back to finish up and also deliver a door handle they ordered the wrong color for, but they moved onto the next project and have me "on the schedule" indefinitely.
