Beautiful, beautiful floral arrangements!! Consultation: We met Valarie to discuss our floral vision and she was SO detailed, organized, and professional. She took a lot of notes and asked for our inspo. She's also transparent with her pricing during the consult. Wedding Florals: my wedding florals were GORGEOUS! I loved the arrangements. They weren't exactly what I wanted, but because they were so pretty, I loved them anyway!! Communication: This is where/why I took away one star. Valarie is very busy (because she's very good at what she does), and while that's understandable, it does cause some anxiety during the wedding planning process. On several occasions, I'd reach out to her and wouldn't hear back for a while, or would have to text her again. She's very professional and apologized. At the consultation, she explained that before the wedding, she would send pics of the bouquets and any other floral pieces to me so that I could make comments and she could adjust if necessary. I didn't hear from her so on the morning of the wedding, I reached out asking for some photos, and she sent me photos of the bouquet (nothing else). I didn't bother asking for more photos of the other florals since it was already the wedding day and the timing felt too tight to make any adjustments. Thank goodness the florals were still very beautiful (didn't quite match my vision but beautiful nonetheless). All in all, the florals were gorgeous and Valarie is talented. We gave our eldest daughter and new son their dream wedding in March 2026 at Jefferson Street Mansion. Thank GOD we were able to do that. A Love's In Bloom was their preferred and included florist. I have screenshots of text messages of talks of "tariffs" causing costs to increase and how roughly 6 cake florals would increase costs by $100 due to tariffs. Over and above what was included, we simply added champaign colored wisteria. I wish we wouldn't have ordered it. She put so few. I was so glad we had the beautiful natural lavender wisteria that grows naturally at the mansion. In spite of her business/political agenda, the champagne color looked very nice mixed with the lavender. We probably would've done more with her if she didn't constantly rag on about the "tariffs." We went to look at her business social media so we could view her work... a normal practice. Her business Facebook page has anti Trump posts so it was obvious that her politics effected her ability to do proper business. Everyone has a right to their political views. But this was a wedding. Why bring it to our business dealings? Her major complaints and rants to us were that her South American vendor was affected due to tariffs. Why not use a local nursery anyway? We couldn't say that to her. SHE WAS THE FLORIST FOR OUR ELDEST DAUGHTER'S WEDDING. In all honesty, there are South American street vendors selling for less than her. And, for the very few, faux champagne colored wisteria, she charged us an additional $412. It was all a joke. We have 2 younger daughters. One who is 20 and our youngest, who is 16. They were their sister's maid of honor and one of her bridesmaids. They loved their sister's wedding. Without a doubt, we will be using a Wedgewood Weddings location for them as well if they want. Which they both seem to want to. I pray Wedgewood Weddings will use a different preferred florist if our other daughters' weddings are in this area. Of course, we had other florals, but it would've been easier to do it all within the package. Everything, including costs, would've been an A+++ if it wasn't for Valerie. In addition, we couldn't even express our disappointment until now. It was like we were held hostage because we just wanted it to be beautiful for our daughter's big life event change. We wanted to make sure Valerie at least did what she was supposed to, so we were quiet until now. read more

She met with my matron of honor and me in person to discuss what I was looking for. Her quote was the lowest out of the 5 florists I contacted and not much higher than DIY options like Bloominous. I considered doing DIY flowers but it just seemed like too much work do tie everything yourself, keep the flowers fresh, and deal with transport. She asked for details about my flower and color preference, venue style, what my dress looked like, and my height, to make sure the floral bouquets she constructed would be appropriately designed. She made the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, a flower garland for our Chuppah, corsages for the mothers of bride and groom, and boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, and fathers of the bride and groom. All of the arrangements were so beautiful! The colors popped but were not overwhelming, there was a lovely variety in types of flowers, and the size of each bouquet was perfect. My wedding was October 2011. I tried to save money by making my own centerpieces and I wanted to make my own bouquets, but there was no way I could do that when I was flying home over 2000 miles and still assembling my centerpieces when I got there and having my bridal shower and rehearsal/rehearsal dinner all the day before my wedding. SO, I searched for florists. Valarie was on the preferred vendors list for the ceremony/reception site I had my wedding and she was the 4th florist I contacted in the area - and hands down had the best prices. I was a little worried about 'seasonal' flowers, but I trusted that the colors would go with my color scheme for my wedding. I had Valarie do my bouquets (myself and bridesmaids), arch spray and garland, flower basket with petals for the flower girl, boutineers for the men & ring bearer, and corsage/boutineers for the mothers. Her prices were the best by far and the total was at least 25%-50% less than what others had quoted me. She listened to everything I said and asked all the appropriate questions - I like that you fill out an information sheet (I was very detailed when filling it out so I think that helped) regarding your dress, the bridesmaids, etc. I did have a little trouble finding the place since she works from her house in Martinez, but I was glad she held the flowers for me till the morning of since my parent's house doesn't have a/c. She was super nice and came out to make sure I could find it and helped me load everything in the truck. Needless to say, I LOVED the flowers, they looked AMAZING. All of them. The pictures looked awesome and when I look back at them... I wish I had saved them or preserved them, haha.
