I spent 3 weeks in Alaska and my stay at Abby's Place was hands down the best night. This B&B is…read morebrand new, it opened in June 2017. The rooms are spacious with each having their own private bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep that I had in years. The owners are two of the nicest people, they build the beautiful house and live on site. It's in a very safe area, easy to find with a big yard to sit out and read in warmer weather. When you check in, the owners will ask what you want for breakfast the next day, they made me French toast and had fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee out. The best part of my stay was watching the Northern lights from the backyard. The owners called me to come down to watch them, the beautiful purple and green lights were AMAZING. The Northern Lights will only get stronger as the winter gets on so this is a perfect place to watch them. As for location, Palmer is 45 minutes north of Anchorage, 25 minutes from Hatchers Pass and 3 hours from Denali. Perfect place to stay a few nights and make side trips. Beautiful place, it was like staying with relatives, so safe and welcoming. I recommend Abby's Place to anyone traveling to Alaska!!

But per the docs on table, we hope we also could have got a chance to meet their doggie. The cabin inside has a queen bed and a bunk bed accomodating four of us very cozy. The restroom is inside with some sperater to form a room, but it doesn't have a top. so it's a bit not sound proofing when you are showering. A little kitchen is embedded in the same cabin too, with electronic oven to cook and microwave and a coffee machine. In the cabinet, it has full list of utensils and in the fridge it has all kinds of breakfast, eggs, bagels, sausages, butter, milke, tea, cereal, yogurt. It's just awesome! And it's very clean, and the heater was turned on before we got there. So once we stepped in the room, it's really warm and made us relaxing and happy. I do wish i can be there again, stay a bit long and meet the lovely owners.
