The rooms are spacious with each having their own private bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep that I had in years. The owners are two of the nicest people, they build the beautiful house and live on site. It's in a very safe area, easy to find with a big yard to sit out and read in warmer weather. When you check in, the owners will ask what you want for breakfast the next day, they made me French toast and had fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee out. The best part of my stay was watching the Northern lights from the backyard. The owners called me to come down to watch them, the beautiful purple and green lights were AMAZING. The Northern Lights will only get stronger as the winter gets on so this is a perfect place to watch them. As for location, Palmer is 45 minutes north of Anchorage, 25 minutes from Hatchers Pass and 3 hours from Denali. Perfect place to stay a few nights and make side trips. I on the other hand was there to work at the Alaska State Fair which was long hours under rough weather conditions. If you want a quiet place I do not recomend it. Although her prices were quite resonable, and she is a women with a big heart, she was unprofessional by charging us about $150 more then she quoted us by phone. I am a pretty patient person who deals with a lot, but after spending 13 nights there I blew a gasket as she does not let up and is a constant complainer. Personally I feel we deserve a partial refund for the headache she created. She will go way beyond and above, but you pay for it with either an additional charge or constant complaints. Next time I will pay more and have some peace of mind. It would have been perfect had she been gone or at least quiet once in awhile. I gave it 3 stars as she did do a lot to help and even cooked some dinners for us after we bought the food. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place go elsewhere. This privately owned park is located within easy access of Palmer. There are about 100 spaces, most…read moreof which are pull through spaces and they generally have grass. The spaces tend to be level and most have full hookups. Power is currently limited to 30 amps, but the plan is to increase at least some to 50 amp in future. Gravel roads allow for fewer problems when it rains. There are several showers and a laundry room available. There are outdoor meeting areas for groups under a roof. There is a spacious lawn for tents as well. WIFI is provided with a code to join. There are great views of surrounding mountains and nights are generally quiet. We have now stayed here twice and would return. The park is Good Sam approved again in 2018. Plan ahead, it is a busy park.
