This was a great find! We ordered chorizo tacos and a Chorizo Huarache and they were delicious! The salsa was made perfectly. The service was 10/10 we were greeted the minute we walked in, and she was sweet! Ambiance was very pleasant, the table cloths were fit for the location and I loved everything I saw inside if this restaurant. Even down to the napkin holders. We had the table with the strawberry one! Ohh and the Spoons for the salsa, thick wooden spoons. Gotta get my hands on those. The food again, the best tacos I've had eating out. My guy loved his food so much, he got another Huarache to take home for later!! Though the horchata I ordered could have used more cinnamon and less water, could be because I ordered a large. So next time I'll size down and see how that turns out! 100% recommend this spot. read more

Had the steak burrito, pretty big size but mostly rice and lettuce, lacked a good amount of steak. It was tasty and the hot sauce was very good. Also I read they had tamales in the online menu which was the main reason for me to go, but unfortunately they removed them from the menu. read more

First time eating at this place , I called to make the order the lady was knowledgeable and knew her prices , I ordered six tacos the wait time was around 10-15 mins pretty fast when I got the tacos they were still hot and so fresh the taste was amazing just needed a bit more salt but I'll definitely be coming back . read more

Went here tonight at recommendation of Yelp reviews. It's about 20 minutes from my home in the sticks. It's on the main road. So street parking. It is a medium space with 7-10 tables. Traditional Mexican decorations and Mexican TV. THEY DON'T MAKE REFRIED BEANS. OH MY GOD!!!! $6.49 for three tacos. 2.50 for side of rice 9.70 total. Don't expect to get complimentary chips and salsa. That's extra, too. You will need to ask for silverware and a glass of water. THE TACOS AND RICE WERE EXCELLENT. My family has a vacation home nearby Liberty, NY (about 30 minutes). By chance we were discovering local small towns and stumbled upon Liberty. I was looking for places to eat and found a Mexican restaurant where the clientele all appeared to be Latino. I went in wanting to order authentic tacos and was not disappointed. While the restaurant was unfortunately out of tongue (lengua), I decided to order the spicy chicken (tinga) and the al pastor. You get three tacos per order made on freshly pressed corn tortillas. These are simple tacos -- meat, cilantro, radish, and salsa verde. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned (but spicy, don't put too much salsa verde if you can't handle it). I convinced my parents, who don't normally eat Mexican food, to give it a try and they agreed that it was delicious. I will certainly make return visits. read more

Solid Mexican food with a small grocery next door. Absolutely adore the chilaquiles, and their homemade juices and agua fresca are quite good. Definitely stop in if you want something that is going to fill you up and stick to your ribs. read more

This has to be the WORST Mexican place I have ever eaten at. We got the steak and onion platter and steak quesadilla. Let's start with the steak and onion platter.... No flavor. The rice tasted bland, like cooked in rice cooker with food dye added. Had green beans, corn, and carrots in it. The beans tasted like it was heated up in a can and served. Flavorless, except for can flavor. The quesadilla, not sure what went on here but the tortilla was thick, heavy, and spongy. It was really gross. I wanted to like this place, usually hole in the wall places are the best, not sure where any of the positive reviews came from. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this place is. We are so very lucky to have a restaurant like this in Liberty, NY. The menu is filled with a variety of authentic Mexican dishes and when they say "homemade" they're not kidding. From the appetizers to the entrees, you are being served the most delicious flavorful food you can possibly get. It's family owned and operating and this family means business. I stopped for some takeout and was not disappointed!!! No doubt authentic food and absolutely delicious! I tried the steak tacos, plain tostada and chorizo picadita. I enjoyed all of those. The tortillas are wonderful. The staff was super friendly and I can't wait to stop there again for more! The red sauce was definitely spicy so just be careful. I'm just traveling through the area, but had a delicious, REAL Mexican lunch at this unpretentious spot on Main St. The staff was very friendly and easy going. It would help if you're not in a rush, as they seem to prepare and cook most menu items from scratch. I had a huarache with eggs and guacamole, and highly recommend them! They do seem a bit understaffed, and you do have to get their attention when they disappear into the back, but I figure that's part of the very laid back style of the place. read more

The appetizers were really good. We ordered Pico de Gallo with chips and guacamole which were fresh and delicious. Main courses were ok. We had chicken fajitas (ok) and the Chicken Burrito which was bland and filled with mainly just rice. Would definitely come back for appetizers only! read more
