Where do I begin...?! I hired Aleah to manage decor/flowers for my baby shower I just had on Saturday. She did that and SO much more! She showed me around Monrovia to a few potential venues (my family lives in Corona and my friends and I live in the valley so was looking for a happy middle ground). She showed me all different types of potential locations and then went back to her shop to discuss my "vision". I am obsessed with all things Hawaii and she took that theme and ran with it! We had pineapple/tropical centerpieces, tropical decor scattered throughout, I mean, it was perfect! We had a bit of drama with the venue I chose and even though she wasn't handling that aspect of the shower, she went over to the venue and handled it like a boss! The shower went smoothly as we had her there to manage timing and everything. She was ALWAYS available anytime I had a question or needed a recommendation. I can't recommend her enough! Aleah was amazing let me start by saying!!!! I got married down in the desert and wanted a combination of succulents and flowers but wasn't sure that combo would come out look soft and romantic which is what I really wanted.....Aleah beyond blew me away with everything she created!!!! Aleah was a wonderful florist to work with! My original florist unfortunately was undergoing a family emergency and could not continue with my event. Aleah took on my wedding just TWO WEEKS prior to the event. I was, of course, feeling a little nervous during this moment. I was going to have to trust another new vendor. Sometimes this is not an easy task for me. Fortunately for me, Aleah is very organized, detailed, and creative! She replied back to my emails and/or texts within a timely manner. This really helped to ease my stress level. I basically communicated with Aleah what types of floral arrangements I would need, what types of flowers I preferred, and my preferential color scheme for the arrangements. When it came time to view a sample, she showed me this and so much more. I was really amazed by her ability to put together such a beautiful arrangement. She even text me the day prior to my wedding with a variety of pictures containing my floral arrangements. My bouquet and the bouquets of my bridesmaids were some of my favorite pieces. The flowers were just amazing and of really high quality. My centerpieces contained cylinders that had orchids submerged in water, and they included a floating candle on top. She set these up the night prior as well. This way they would be ready for the reception, which was the next day. These centerpieces added such a fresh (because of the flowers) and warm (because of the candles) feel to the whole venue. When it came time for the MC to host the centerpiece game, people were excited at the chance to win the centerpiece. I even saw people that did not win pack up part of the centerpiece for themselves in order to take home. Aleah is a great florist for any major event! She is gifted, organized, punctual, and thorough!!! She will truly help you to create your perfect floral arrangement! read more

Terrible and unprofessional experience. My friend recommended this place because she knew people that had great experiences w them. Unfortunately that wasn't the case w me. I met Aleah at her warehouse (which is 45 mins away from me) to talk about her possibly doing my wedding. Now prior to our meeting I had my MOH (who set up the meeting) inform her if my budget. She replied that it was totally do able and to come on over and go through the details. When I arrived, Aleah was very pleasant and energetic. She was very warm and convincing. She took all of my wedding info and went on and on about how she was excited about my wedding and that she would love to do my wedding and how it all fits my budget. We were there for Atleast 2 hrs talking about everything. She emphasized how she has good work ethics and values about being a good florist and just a business person in general. She lead me to believe that I had found the perfect vendor for my wedding. I was very excited that we were getting along and the vibe was good. She said she would crunch the numbers that night and email me the next day w a proposal. The next day I was super excited to see her proposal. Sadly it never came. I thought to myself, that it was a short amount of time and that she probably got busy. Well it's been almost 2 wks now and I have yet to hear from her! I've emailed her, called the warehouse, left her a message on her personal voicemail, and still nothing! I was seriously thinking she had either gone into some health issues or went missing. But then I decided one day to peep onto her facebook page. We'll imagine my fury when I had noticed that she had been updating her page since our meeting!! So I decided maybe facebook messaging will work. Nope!!! No response!! Isn't that just plain rude!! If you didn't want to work w me Aleah all u had to do was say so! All in all..... Yea I'm sure she's a great florist.... But I guess you gotta b really special to be her customer! One star only so that I can post a review! read more

My wedding was on August 15, 2015, I went to Aleah because I had gotten several flowers from them before. I wasnt aware that she did flower arrangements for weddings, so I was very happy when she told me she did. I had my own ideas and pictures because I thought the particular flowers I chose would be cheap, but they werent so she started suggesting different flowers. The two were White hyds, and white callas, they were my first choice and my dream flowers for my wedding. Aleah worked with me with my budget, I spent a little bit more but the outcome was so beautiful. She let me, my bridesmaids and matron of honor do ALL the arranging of the centerpieces in her warehouse!! Which saved us a lot of money. She worked with us every step of the way. Michelle, her assistant dropped of the flowers for the Chapel and hung white ribbons on the chairs in the chapel which looked so pretty. My bouquet and the bridal parties bouquets were so gorgeous! Which Aleah made herself and the altar flowers. I was so emotional, it was exactly how I pictured it! Then they proceeded to go to the reception, and fixed my cake and tried to make it look pretty, it was a mess of a cake but thats for another review. The centerpieces looked great! I loved my flowers, and Aleah and Michelle where so great to work with. I was very happy I made the choice of working with Aleah. It's unfortunate the one star and 2 tar reviewers didnt feel the same. She is so easy to work with. Thank you A La Carte weddings. I will definitely go back and recommend. read more

Aleah did an amazing job on the flowers for my wedding in June. I gave her a general idea of the kind of look and style I was going for and she knew exactly where to go from there. She did all of my bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, floral decor for the ceremony arch (which she also provided) and a few other little decorative details. She was so helpful and sweet throughout the entire process, she even traveled 2 hours to san diego where my wedding venue was! She is awesome! read more

Ohhh my goodness. A la carte flowers is the best deal in town. My father passed suddenly and we were so confused as to how we wanted to have our flowers for the memorial. Each of my siblings had one idea, and my aunts had another. We called a la carte, and all of us went together. We decided we would have beautiful baskets of flowers since it was near Easter. We didn't know how to make our own arrangements... no clue.... but we all went and each of us picked flower bushels that each of us liked, and then Aleah took one basket while each of us to our own, and we began designing our own baskets using all the flowers each of us picked. The baskets were incredible. We made so many. Then I was a little nervous when she began ringing everything up, and then she hit total, and we were all floored. We paid less in all ( i believe it was 7 baskets) than we would have in two of those open wreaths. The best part is we all got to keep the baskets and the flowers lasted. It was so nice. I was extremely disappointed with this business. I went to her a few weeks before my wedding and spent two hours with her discussing what I wanted. She seemed to be good at what she does, and gave me ideas for my bouquet as well as the centerpieces, which I wanted to be very simple. She gave me a price sheet, and then asked me to let her know by the next week whether I wanted to move forward. I emailed her two days later that I wanted to use her services and with a couple questions. I never heard back. I emailed several times, and even got her on the phone one night and she told me she was busy and would call the next day. She never called or emailed back. This added a lot of stress for me in the weeks leading up to my wedding. I ended up going to the LA Flower Mart myself and spent under $200 on all of my flowers! If you want a simpler look, I would definitely recommend doing that. I even made my own bouquet, and was very happy with the results. read more

My wedding, which was 9/12/15, was royal blue and silver (no purple anywhere). Aleah used purple flowers my maid of honor's bouquet and other places,without checking with me. Before the wedding started, I asked her if she could please change my maid of honors bouquet, but she said she would destroy the bouquet by trying to change it. I had no bridesmaids, so the maid of honor bouquet was important to me. Prior to the wedding I had specifically asked her to put a little blue hydrangea in her bouquet. She agreed to do so, but didn't. My cake had royal blue ribbon on it with no blue flowers to tie it together (again, she had put purple flowers on it). If she didn't have royal blue, I would have preferred light blue rather than purple since purple was not one of my wedding colors, but I was not asked. Do real professionals make major decisions without asking the person who is paying for the job? I don't think so. If only she had called me on Friday? I was off work and available all day. There was a vase on the reception table that was supposed to be white and blue flowers and she put only blue hydrangea. All of these things were in opposition to the written contract. Also, I saw the video of my ceremony singer/guitarist and there is Aleah with her assistant walking around, putting rose petals in the aisle. I mentioned it to her and she said they waited because of wind, yet the plants and trees in the video are not moving. Did she lie to me because she didn't plan well? My mom commented to me after the wedding that she was surprised to see that my florist had not finished when the ceremony started. Wow. I would not recommend this florist. read more

I needed something that made a statement, that stood out from your typical 12.99 bouquet from Ralph's. I came across her on Yelp and gave her a call 20 minutes before I needed my arrangement. My sister was graduating with her masters in social work and wanted something sophisticated and exciting. She asked for my budget and told me to head over. When I got there she was putting it together...it was like magic happening before my eyes. She knew I was crunched for time, but you can tell she was still making sure that she was giving me quality work. I highly recommend her, for those who need the smallest of arrangements, to those with the most extravagant needs. Book her, help yourself stand out and really make a statement!!!!!
