From beginning to end everything was so seamless. We had a great initial meeting where we took Jamie through what we were thinking. She got our vision right away and also was able to add her expertise of how to bring it to life through flowers. From there they provide clear detailed estimates. We had an awesome mock up review where I literally had no notes. Jamie has the most amazing creative eye when it comes to flowers. My mom accidentally left her phone at the studio when we went off to another vendor meeting, we were going to stop by later to pick it up but Steve brought it to us 15 minutes away so she wouldn't have to worry. They are really such nice people. The day of the wedding was also great. The flowers themselves were gorgeous. We joked they must have talked to them at night to have them all so perfectly blooming. They had a great team there to help get things set up and help transition some florals from the ceremony to the reception. We can't say enough great things about Steve and Jamie and the entire Wen Floral team. They really knocked it out of the park in every way and we are so grateful we got to work with them. Groom here: Normally I would never care about flowers, but wow did Wenfloral knock it out of the park. I was lucky enough to find Jamie and Steve on Yelp while planning my wedding. For someone planning a wedding from afar (the wedding was in LA and we both live in NYC) Jamie and Steve are a dream to work with. Their responses to emails are prompt and they were very accommodating to meet with me on my schedule when I was able to make it back to California for the meetings with them. My venue, Ambassador Mansions and Fowler Garden, is already a beautiful venue, but Jamie and Steve transformed it into an even more magical and beautiful place with the flowers they provided. It turned out exactly how I had envisioned in my head - everything from the ceremony flowers, centerpieces, chandelier, to personal flowers. It was all perfect. Budget-wise, I really appreciated how Jamie and Steve were able to work with us to stay within our budget by being smart and advising that ceremony flowers can be re-purposed to become centerpieces during the reception. Jamie really was able to see our vision and she is so easy to talk to. We received estimates and it was itemized so I was able to cut and adjust as necessary to fit the budget. They were all very receptive to changes (color and types of flowers). You can also add things - I added chandelier a month before the wedding. My advice for soon to be brides in terms of flowers is to pick your wedding colors then create a Pinterest board and collect as many pictures of how you envision your wedding to be like - don't get distracted because there are a LOT of pretty pictures out there. My colors were blush pink, antique gold, and cream with accents and shades of green. Don't worry too much about knowing names of flowers and exactly what flowers of what you want to use where - after Jamie sees pictures she will start to make suggestions of what would be appropriate and in season and within budget. The day of the wedding, Steve and his team showed up early to deliver all of the personal flowers in boxes and they stayed to set up, transfer flowers between ceremony and reception, and break down. They worked so fast and efficiently I barely noticed that they were there, not that I would've minded. Everyone at the wedding had complimented on how beautiful the flowers were and they were all so happy to be taking home such beautiful pieces. Wenfloral is a five star vendor and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants beautiful flowers from super friendly team of professionals. A close friend's mother went into surgery a few weeks back. I was in Irvine and my friend's family is located back home in the 626. It's 5:30pm when I make this awesomely impulsive decision to send flowers that I want my friend to receive the next morning (crazy I know huh haha). So naturally, I trust my fellow Yelpers. I call Wenfloral and a friendly man picks up & I ask him if they deliver. He says yes. I tell them what I want (based on Chinese customs e.g. not having chrysanthemums or the color yellow). I take a big leap of faith because I won't be able to see these flowers before they are delivered. The first floral studio my husband and I visited was a referral of the venue. I thought our floral budget was pretty lofty, however in the meeting, the studio informed me that my budget would only cover centerpieces for 12 tables and 2 urns at the alter. An arch was out of the question as the cost for that was 3/4 of my budget! I love this flower shop. Every time my daughter's boy friend brought the flowers, our family was always excited because of his heart and the flower design. So, today i asked to my daughter where this flower shop is. Feeling very lucky that this shop is nearby my house and I came here to make a bouquet for my church member. This shop is not big, divided for the casual flowers and the wedding. However, every flower is very fresh and the Chinese florist has a good eye to choose flowers and design the bouquet. Jamie and Steve were so patient with us, they're giving us not just recommendation for flowers, but also many ideas for our wedding as well.
