Lexus quoted $4000 plus so he decided to fix it himself. He was taking a whole week and was going to overcharge us for the car. We decided to find a car somewhere else and he refused to give our money back. Why try and sell a car where air conditioner doesn't worK? and insist on a deposit first??? Bad service. I will not do business with Gotham!

I found your approach to an insignificant engine problem both misleading to my wife and VERY…read moreEXPENSIVE. My wife took her car in for a scheduled 'recall' notice she'd received. Her 'check engine' indicator icon was lit on the dash panel of her 2010 Prius of 173,000 miles. The service technician told her that the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve was malfunctioning. She asked whether that was a problem and was scared into believing that the issue "might prevent the engine from operating optimally" and that her "gas mileage might suffer". Both statements were true, but definitely not critical nor dangerous to the vehicle's operational safety. She wasn't told that it was for the smog control system on the car. She was charged almost $850 to replace the EGR Valve! A search online locally shows that this type of repair on her car should be between $484 and $832. Naturally, Toyota is right up at the highest price point. EGR Valves can be serviced and cleaned to extend their life, but this was not offered as a less costly alternative, as Toyota "recommends replacement". Of course they do. More dollars given to the Service Department. 100 miles later, the 'check engine' indicator light reappeared. I took the car in to find out why and was told that a sensor that monitors the EGR Valve had (coincidentally) stopped working. This repair would cost another $645!! I told them they had gotten their last money from my wife and I and that I would be taking her Prius somewhere - - that is, anywhere else in the future. Toyota is a company that has the most expensive repair parts and charges exorbitant rates for their labor hours.

I came in at 11:15am give or take and Jake directed me to Jordan for help. After going over things with me, Jordan said the last step to getting things back up was to go home and wait for a phone call from a banker at 1pm. I said great and went home to make food and wait for my call. 1pm came and went and I called the branch back. Jake answered and told me Jorda was on break but that Jordan says he said I had an appointment at some bank across town? But he had looked me dead in the eye earlier and said I would not have to leave my house and all I would have to do was answer my phone at 1 PM. I had to come back in at 2 o'clock and this time I had to ask for the manager to help me. Thankfully Vanessa was extremely competent and clear with me. I'm sad Jordan felt the need to lie to save his skin. Not a single banker for chase in Tucson had me on schedule that day for a meeting at 1pm. Jordan could use a talk about lying to his customers

The patience, understanding and consistent communication from Andres to me was beyond exceptional. Although, Hughes Federal Credit Union was able to offer us a lower rate my husband and I decided to move forward with Tucson Federal Credit Union because of Andres. He truly exceeded our expectations as the level of service we received exceeded what one would typically expect. As you know, the car purchasing process can be hectic with constant back and forth, especially in our situation, but Andres was amazing. I was happy I was able to meet him in person because for this last week I've plagued him with constant telephone calls and emails but it did not phase him. He made sure he was able to help us out by going above and beyond. Other than this email, an outstanding Yelp and Google review for your credit union I wish I could take him to dinner or hell, even get him a gift certificate. He was the relief to what turned into be a big headache.

My only option per the man at the counter was to roll the coins into rolls. Why can't financial institutions provide better customer service? If banks and credit unions don't want to deal with coins then lobby for their removal from the currency system, otherwise accommodate the public and deal with it. Most people I know over 60 have some form of arthritis or at least their hands are not what they used to be... roll up $300? I don't think so. You lost an account and future business.
