This experience has been bugging me for over a week, so I had to express myself here…read more This was our first-time doing business with Aamco. We had a 2017 Nissan Sentra towed to this location for a clutch replacement. A certain price was given twice by two different people (the manager Eddie and his assistant), only for 600 extra dollars to be added to the total price on the day of pickup with no explanation until we arrive in person. We had many repairs done to the car at other repair shops for different issues right before we contacted Aamco, and we hadn't experienced a situation like this. I fully understand things happen & price could potentially increase as progress is being made towards the repair(s), and the labor cost included. Clutches are costly to replace, and the shop gets busy, we're not the only customers. I get it, but this felt deceitful. It's just disappointing to not be updated and blindsided by over half a thousand dollars extra cost upon pickup. We did speak with Eddie about this, he seemed polite, and understood. He explained the increase & apologized for not keeping us updated. He even gave us an offer for a free oil change in the future, which we won't be going back for, unfortunately. We just don't trust this place by what happened. Customer service is number one, & that includes good communication & transparency for us to want to come back & support. Thank you.

What can you say about a shop that misleads you about being able to work on your hybrid car,…read morefalsely "diagnosed" not one, but two perfectly good hybrid batteries, did not pull the bottom covers off the tow truck thus causing the parts to be lost! They kept my car for weeks after we changed out the first replacement hybrid battery before they refused to do the work they stated they would. To say this shop cost me thousands is an understatement! The cost of rentals alone during the time they were cross diagnosing is shameful! At the very least they should refund the diagnostic fee of $185 for a battery that they could not have diagnosed because it contained no coolant!

Did what was asked and the resulting TH700-R4 trans rebuild shifts well. "In house" transmission…read morerebuild is a misnomer as the trans is rebuilt offsite with no ability to observe high end components ordered were actually used. In addition you would think they would at least hit the removed transfer case and trans mounting bolts with a wire brush for a light clean, not so as all those items were re-installed with caked on dirt.

After a few days they called me to pick it up after driving into the work I noticed the leak was still there looked like nothing had been fixed it was Friday and soonest I could bring it back was Monday. Over the weekend I realized they had left my radiator cap off and my car almost overheated. If I didn't have a gallon of water and my buddy following me I'm guessing my car would have been done. I took it back to have them fix the leak, they ended up fixing the leak and I asked them to consider what happened and call me. They never got back in touch and didn't even pay for the radiator cap I had to buy and the additional coolant they cost me. If they want to... seems they can do good work but seems they lack follow-up and customer service.
