Zero stars if I could. I bought a new townhome about 2 miles from AJ Masters. I asked for a quote and they sent their contractor within a week. All i needed was 3 new windows and after taking measurements they should call me within 3 business days. Well three weeks later I called and asked if they needed more time for my estimate and they didn't even know who I was. Talk about time wasted, I had to grab another company to do my windows and the new contractor mentioned most window companies flake on you a lot because they want more bang for the buck meaning 3 windows is not a priority compared to a house that may need 5 or more, hence they make more money. I never even got an estimate which to me is just flat-out horrible. Good luck choosing this company. read more

Quality work comes at a price. I called them for an appointment for an estimate on a window repair. They showed up right on time. When the guy knew what kind of windows we had before he came in, I figured these people know what they're doing. The quote came in at a little under $300. I was hoping to get a competitors estimate, but these people are the only ones in the area who do what they do! So, I set the appointment; and again, the same guy showed up at my door - right on time. He fixed the window in under an hour. It looked better than when it was new. For payment, I didn't realize the estimate said "Cash on completion..." but they let me come in the next day to pay with credit card with no extra fees attached. I've done business with these guys before for table top glass, and they always do excellent work. read more

This has to the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! I have purchased glass many times here in the past, always opting to pay more to keep business here in town. After parking a block away in THEIR parking, carrying my 2 year old, I commented on how the parking was kinda stupid...so far away. The man, which turned out to be the owner gave me the worst "stink eye" I may have ever had. He just continued to stare at me...at which point I said "no comment?"..... That is when he cut loose on me. He said he didn't like my attitude and that he had the right to refuse to serve me and that I should just leave his store. With my mouth wide open, still holding my child, I informed him how many times I had been there in the past....how I was local etc....He continued to tell me to leave and how the I was "stupid" for not parking in the front of the building.... He WAS SO RUDE I COULD BARELY BELIEVE IT.....AND TO THINK "HE IS THE OWNER" of this Mom and Pop establishment and could or would talk to any person this way....especially a Mom with a small child in her arms...UNBELIEVABLE! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN....EVER GIVE THEM A BIT OF MY BUISINESS AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND THE SAME TO YOU... What a surprise..these folks are wondetful. After having several recent disappointments with craft folks (roofers/appliance repair/cable tv/handymen) A J Masters (AJM) was a very pleasant experience. Admittedly, my job was small but from the initial walk in to the completed installation, they were professional, courteous and timely. Finally, a place where customer service is important. I had a small glass pane replaced and AJM took my order, gave me an estimate, ordered the glass and installed the replacement all within 5 days, maintaining communication with me throughout th process. The people over at A.J. Masters deserve a lot more than some of these reviews give them. I had an incident at home that resulted in my front window being busted out. I gave this company a call and was greeted by a lovely woman (didn't catch her name) that ensured me someone would be out within the hour. A gentleman named Joe stopped by and completely went above and beyond what I feel he should have. He assessed the damage, cleared all harmful debris, told me he would take the frame down to their place, replace the glass, and bring it back to install it again. On top of that Joe cleaned up the rest of the broken pieces scattered around my place and got rid of everything after. He made this such a pain free and easy process, I am truly thankful for everyone over at A.J.'s and I would definitely refer them to anyone with glass/window issues. read more

i'm also a local and i used them because they are so close. i walked in and requested two 1/4 inch glass shelves and they made them the same day! for a very reasonable price. i read the single bad 1 star review for them and think that that lady claims herself that she came in with a bad attitude and i think she deserved to be thrown out. my experience was that it's a nice mom-n-pop business and i'd use them again. read more

I called AJ Masters when one of my double glazed window lost it's vacuum seal, a service man came and measured the window the same day, and I had an estimate by the end of the day.
