You're paying $500+ per night to be in one of eleven tents/cabins that are all tightly squished together in a row. Zero forestry separating them. Zero privacy unless you're hunkered in your cabin. Zero feeling of seclusion. Zero feeling of wilderness or camping vibes. If I am paying this much for a "luxury camping experience", I expect at least part of that value proposition to be not seeing my neighbor 20 feet away from me when we're sitting at our fire pits as you would be at a basic campground like Starved Rock. Their marketing materials claimed the Flora and Fauna cabin is "surrounded by forest" and secluded...but it's on the same silly strip of road, in the same row of cabins just 10 to 20 feet from the neighboring cabin. It just so happens to be the one on the end. I would feel less compelled to leave a negative review if Aramoni wasn't straight up lying to customers in how they describe the property.

The location was secluded but not in an eerie way. The tent was right up my boogie alley. It had all the amenities you'd get at a nice hotel. It was far way from your neighbors to not feel too close but not too far where you felt too alone. The breakfast and dinner were really good. Especially the breakfast burrito. We also got the private lunch picnic package and it was right near the lake. It was really hot and wound up raining out last day and a half but it was worth it. We plan on returning in the fall.

We even paid the extra fee to make sure we got the CD with all of the prints saved on it. It was wonderful! The only drawback that we had was that we had a few younger children (3-5 years-old) who were involved in the wedding and excited about the photo booth that didn't get to have such a great experience. My twin nieces were treated a bit rudely at times and kept asking me why the ladies were being mean. With that one exception, everything else was perfect! I would definitely book them again, but probably only if it was a child free event.

Beautiful view of the houses, saw bald eagle, and lots of neat infrastructure pieces like the railroad bridge etc. Price right, and a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

We did the unlimited mimosas and brunch from 10:30-12:30. The mimosas were fantastic and the food was delicious! They had so much to offer from donuts, cinnamon rolls, brownies, croissants, cheeses, bacon and sausage sandwiches, etc. We were over the moon with what they offered on the brunch cruise. The service was quick and friendly. The boat itself had dining options inside and outside. We sat on the upper deck and it was the perfect spot to take in all of the beautiful fall colors and views. We also saw so many bald eagles on our boat tour as well. If you haven't been on this riverboat tour, you're missing out. I cannot wait to go again!!

Cocktails were served out on the balcony ~ delightful. Brunch was served buffet style. Everything was hot and food was replenished even before the serving dish was low on its offering. Salads, eggs, an omelette station, waffles, crispy bacon (the way it should be served), sausage, chicken, rolls, potatoes, and I'm sure I'm missing something, , were served. Everything was delicious. The staff were courteous and quick to respond to any request. We had an absolutely marvelous time and enjoyed being a guest.

We didn't realize that there was one nearby in Ottawa, so we picked up the phone and we called Obsidian Events. We were greeted by Anthony over the phone who went through all the packages and options he had for us. We chose the option for a couple of hours and our guests were able to have their photos sends to their phone's directly. Our guests really enjoyed everything and they were the true stars of the show. Just 10 minutes south of Ottawa in Fall River Township you will this great little Hall for rent…read more My family has rented the hall for gatherings in the past, My 1st rental (of many more to come) was for my daughters Golden 13th birthday. The Hall rental is $50.00 for a non resident, comes with a small kitchen area, sadly the kitchen only has two stove top burners and no oven so massive catering is going to be hard to do on site, numerous tables chairs and everything you need to entertain around 50 guests. We were lucky to have the hall on a nice day I brought alone a youth football & Frisbee that was all it took for the kids to have a blast on the near one acre yard on the property. Why only four stars you might ask? Well the kitchen only have two burners, no oven & the small amount of outlets (bring an extension cord people) are just enough to leave you wanting just a little bit more. Knowing what I am getting my self into & for the price this place will be my event home for some time to come.

We were walking downtown and came across this place, and although it said "by appointment" on the door, they were happy to accommodate us on the spot. The young girl with dark hair was able to help us look at all shades and options for the grooms side and had much cheaper rates than other places we had looked. The tux rentals are itemized instead of one flat rate, so I'm still unsure if it'll be cheaper in the end but we loved the convenience and that we could shade match dresses at the same store for an all in one experience for ease and peace of mind that we'll match. She let me know that any dress I found in the area could be shade matched to the best man, and I found the perfect dress at only $160! I did find it weird that I'm usually a size 0-2 and the dress that fit was a size 6, but they were awesome at getting me alteration recommendations and assisting with me being out of state. They got the bride all set up with everyone's information so they could stop in whenever and pick out their dresses and get sized. They made it beyond easy for us to handle our outfits and with the wedding less than three months out, thank gourd for their ability to rush and keep it relatively inexpensive! I would honestly consider coming here for my wedding based on my experience as the maid of honor alone.
