A family friend whose daughter got married at Cog Hill a few years ago used Jon Wise, and they strongly recommended him. So, after we booked our venue, JPW Productions was actually the first vendor we hired! We were really busy with last-minute wedding planning, so we were not able to fill out the music preference questionnaire until a few days before the wedding. (Yes, it was honestly insanity.) Jon was SO patient with us despite how last-minute we are. He has a great personality and didn't stress us out at all on the day of the wedding (even though it was totally within his right to do so because we didn't give him the flash drive of a certain version of a song until the day of!). Even though we filled out a list of songs we wanted played, I gave him creative control to play songs that would get people out on the dancefloor. And he did just that! Even though we only had under 140 people at the wedding, the dancefloor was hopping. We got feedback from guests that they loved the variety in the songs the DJ played. If they need additional information from me, I would have hoped they would have been a bit proactive in clarifying. When you pay $100 for 30 minutes you hope for a level of customer service. Let's hope they take accountability for misses on their side and provide a refund.

Let's start off with the only negative. They are a little bit pricey, so they might not be a good fit for everyone's budget. If they are within your budget definitely book them for your big day, or any occasion. They are very easy to work with and professional. Both Jerry and Gosia are easy to talk to and will take care of anything you need. They really made my wife and me feel comfortable on our big day, and working with them felt more like hanging out with friends. They really make sure everything they record is natural and work to get the best shots of situations as they happen rather than setting up a scene to make it easier for them to shoot. They're highlight videos are by far the best quality we've seen. We didn't wait very long either. Sometimes you don't get pictures and/or video from your wedding, until a year later or more, depending on how backed up the videographer/photographer is. We got our highlight video a few months after our wedding and our full video was ready in 8 months. They still apologized for the delay, even though considering the quality, I thought the turnaround time wasn't that long at all. I definitely recommend them and will use their services for future events.
