My family had the pleasure of choosing Dave's at Lakeside Inn to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday…read morethis weekend. For weeks prior, Dave worked with me to craft an amazing menu - from passed appetizers to entree to homemade desert - all in keeping with local and fresh ingredients and in the style of his mentor, Jacque Pepin. He also recommended a classical guitarist plus made so many unique recommendations to ensure a beautiful and unique event in this quaint historic inn. Sadly the week prior, my dad was suddenly hospitalized within days of our planned event. The family just loved that. After dinner, we moved to the porch where were able to sit with our plastic glasses of wine, and rock until quiet time. Such a memorable night!

Quaint, quiet, laid back, secluded, and unplugged. Like stepping back in time 100 years. If want…read moremodern, don't go. The rooms leave something to be desired, but it's what you'd expect staying at a timeless inn. Staff friendly and helpful.
