Showed up at 10 am on a Sunday and they had availability. Great massage and convenient.

Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! GO ELSEWHERE! The male masseuse practically ran out the door behind me demanding that I tip him an additional 30% gratuity for the 60 minute massage. After you pay, he has a sign BEHIND the price list with optional gratuity/tip up to 60% based on the duration of your chosen massage. It's not advertised and is a sign behind the price list most likely because it's ridiculous. I felt VERY UNSAFE as he made a condescending face at me and scowled after I paid for the services and tried to leave the counter after me towards the door. Be prepared for them to try and bully you and frown when you decline AFTER you've paid for your services. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL....AND if you pay by card they charge an additional $4 per transaction. Beware! Not to mention, the massage was rushed and VERY subpar. He was coughing and hacking in my ear throughout the entire massage like he was sick/under the weather...which is a health hazard...no mask...no washing of his hands or hand sanitizer in sight....and the place is not clean. There was dirt on the walls and the floor was dirty and I was the first massage of the day! Will NOT be returning! At least 6 times one of the other workers entered my room and carried on conversations with my masseuse while I was exposed. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations from other works and clients throughout your entire massage. The blankets were torn and used and there's only a thin curtain between the hallway and the rooms. This place should be shut down!! I'll need to check my transaction to make sure he didn't add his own tip to my debit card receipt seeing how desperate and rude he was! I hope this review helps someone! read more

Excellent massage without the high price. Convenient, relaxing, and worth it! I've been going here for years, consistent experience.

Not being so hard up for money and only cash!! She makes you feel uncomfortable and doesn't cover you up lives you in your underwear. Only cared about payment read more

Amazing massage! We got a couples massage and it was probably the best one either of us have ever gotten!

We had booked a massage and arrived ten minutes before our appointment time. We were asked to wait an additional half an hour, which we did; we didn't mind, things happen and schedules get behind. What we did have a problem with was that a walk-in that arrived after us with no appointment was then given a massage first while we were asked to wait an additional ten minutes. Staff were very rude when we questioned why a walk-in for the exact same massage type was being assisted before us when we had an appointment. We left as we no longer felt comfortable getting a massage there - definitely don't recommend! read more

Awesome way to get those kinks out and breathe and relax. The young man knew just how to move the tension. Will be back soon. You don't need an appointment and reasonable price. read more

I look forward to coming here. Seriously. They are open every day until 10 pm, and I have stopped by several times with limited or no wait. They have different length massages, and they will get in there and dig in or be as gentle has you like. I stay stove up...yes that's a word and damn if my old lady arthriticals (not a word) doesn't keep me in pain. The CBD massage really helps. Seriously, go try them. Plus they are open errrday till 10pm. Don't wear raggly draws like I did. They don't care, but it's embarrassing Do better! read more

Stopped in for a 15 minute chair massage and had the best experience! Very clean and calming environment.

Don't go unless you have change for a $100 bill or $20 bill. The Staff act like they have a language barrier to understanding English but that can say TIP if when they give bad service to clients and over the phone. They have no doors only thin curtains between rooms. You can hear all conversations from the front entrance to the back room. Once my hour session ended- I had to walk through another róom with a massage in session. No oil/lotion was use on my lower body at all. My masseur left the room at least 6 times during my session. Poor music quality and no essential oils use for air flow in the rooms. I was lied to on the phone about the gift cards usage and about setting an appointment. I was told yes regarding Spafinder Gift cards and I didn't need an appointment twice before I drove from Oxford, MS . My opinion the staff will say anything to get you in the door. Don't waste your time or money with this location. . read more

An amazing massage. I did a 60 minute massage + 30 minute reflexology. Great pressure, hot stones and feeling rejuvenated!!

Me and my boyfriend recently got a one hour deep tissue together and it was one of the best massages we've ever had. Very good massage and very good price. Will definitely come here again next time I'm in town! read more

Booking was fast and easy. Really enjoyed my massage. The room was small and plain and only had a curtain door, but private and relaxing. My only complaint was the face hole on the table was a bit small, but it was fine once I got settled. Masseuse was friendly and checked in sufficiently. Pressure was very nice and the masseuse worked my problem areas to my liking. I will be back for sure. I greatly enjoyed my experience. read more

I have been going to this Massage place for sometime now and have always appreciated the quality of service and professionalism. However, after my experience on yesterday, I won't be going back to this business. I stopped by and requested a 1-hour Swedish Massage. Upon completion, I walked up to the counter to render payment. The lady who did the service was the same person who checked me out. I have always paid for a credit card as I do not customarily carry alot of cash. The lady was being very aggressive towards me and demanding that I use the on-site ATM. She did this multiple times. I asked her if the business accepted credit cards. She said yes and reluctantly swiped mine. Customarily, I always charge the service on my card and leave a cash tip. The lady was mad that I wouldn't use the on-site ATM machine. And, when I filled out the credit card receipt, I put $0 for a tip. She immediately got mad at me and told me that she rendered excellent customer service and was owed at least 20% tip. The lady was rude and very mean about it and was so impatient that she didn't even give me the opportunity to reach for the cash in my purse. I am really livid over this experience and refuse to patronize this business ever again. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!! read more

Clean and professional. Best message I've had in a long time. I chose the 2. Royal massage for an hour for $70. Next time I'll probably get the foot massage. They use traditional Asian techniques. The added in Thai stretch was a plus. I highly recommend this place! It's also family owned business- no having to do deal with people haggling you about signing up for a monthly club deal. read more

Honestly- I have a TON of issues with my back, neck, shoulders and feet and have been to chiropractors, accupuncture as well as modern orthopedic doctors. Two years ago while in NYC, I started having a way too familiar back spasm episode, and just so happened to be walking past an Asian massage place mid flare up and walked in with hopes to find some relief....we'll, I felt like I basically just so happened to find the ultimate cure. Omg- Asian massage, like its counterpart far eastern medicinal techniques seem to have literal Healing power! I I was desperate and hopeful to find a place like it in Memphis upon return. I found "a great massage" on poplar and started going. When I say it's literally the BEST massage I have ever had in my entire life (and I've had too many to count over the years due to my numerous issues ); I am NOT exaggerating. I do not get massages bc I am a princess. I get them for healing and the harder and more pain they cause during the massage, the better I feel the next. The therapist are strong as oxen and I usually find myself silently praying and thanking the Lord that he created the therapist and this type of massage technique. You aren't entering some sort of super fancy, relaxing place; but it is adequate, and the massage service that you receive for the money makes the mediocre ambiance and decor not seem to matter very mu read more

I stopped in today because of a massive head ache and my back hurting. My massage was great and made my headache went away.

I wanted to get a massage since I had of a lot of stress and tension in my body. Scheduling an appointment was easy, I called them and they sent me what looked like an automated txt to my phone confirming the date and time. When I got there, there was a guy at the desk he took me in right away and showed me the room. The room was clean and peaceful. However, the guy, who was my masseuse, had this rushed energy. It felt like he was rushing and hurrying up through my massage. His strokes were not relaxing, they were rushed. He also did it so hard that it hurt. I said several times that it was too hard but it didn't change much. Today is the next day and my back is in pain. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

My experience was not great. I was able to get in quickly, however, there were so many interruptions, it was not relaxing. My massage therapist constantly left the room to address walk in customers. I counted 4 times my massage was interrupted to go great other customers . When he wasn't leaving the room, someone was coming in to talk to him. Its very uncomfortable laying there mostly naked with other people walking in while you are laying on the table. At least 6 times some woman came in to have conversation with him and some of them sounded heated. In addition, there was a cell phone not on silent that kept dinging with messages. In addition, the rate online for a one hour deep tissue massage was $70 and they charged me $90. I can't financially afford to get a massage often as I am suffering from health issues and my husband is currently battling Leukemia. I am so very disappointed. I will NEVER be back. I hope that you spend your money elsewhere and get a more professional massage. read more

I'm originally from Thailand and used to get massage every week back home. I can say that I am very picky about the quality of my massage. I also enjoy my massage harder . My therapist was very talented! She applied just the right amount of pressure and fixed all my knots. The place is clean, but not polished. You can definitely hear the street traffic and everything that's going on in the facility. I don't find that to be a problem because the price was so cheap. I feel that I got more than what I paid for. I've been here twice and both got great quality massages. I would definitely return. read more

The receptionist didn't know what one of their services entailed. She said 'i think it's a....' not what it actually is. I asked to talk to someone who performs the service because I figured they would know. No one was available. The receptionist and I got disconnected or she hung up on me. She texted me and gave me the info for a massage and couples massage which was not what I asked about. She said the manager would call me. The manager never did. I guess my sister and I are going somewhere else. I was very disappointed! read more

I try to get a massage done every three to four months, especially if I start having back spasms. So, I have been to a lot of different types of masseuses, but my overall preference are the Asian massage parlors because they use heavy pressure. I like the pain and am the girl usually gritting my teeth through the pain! I needed a massage asap because of some upper back pain so I went through several Yelp reviews. I sent a text message to the number on "A Great Massage" website and they responded they would be available in 20 minutes at this location. I walked in and there was a couple waiting. The lady said wait 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes. Another lady walked in. She said wait 20 minutes. She says wait in your room. So I went into the room and laid on the table. So now 40 minutes or so has passed. The rooms are divided, but the walls do not go to the ceiling so it is quite noisy. The street noise is very apparent, especially since it is nearby the hospital, you can hear ambulances go by. You can hear them thumping on the other customers in the room over. It is not the most relaxing environment. The room and sheets appear to be clean. My masseuse was Dana. She had great hands and was able to apply good pressure. I pointed to my "spot" that I wanted worked on and she went to town. Unfortunately, every time the door opened or the phone rang, she kept leaving to attend to it, almost 5-6 times. Despite this, she still treated me for an hour INCLUDING those stops. I was disappointed since probably 10-12 minutes was gone from this and is not fair since I am a paying customer. She continued to talk to her co-workers during my massage as well. They did have the arm rails for them to hold onto if they stand on your back, but my lady did not. She uses two hot stones toward the middle of the massage. If you need a no frills massage, then this is your place to go, but remember "no frills." I would say the experience was a 2.5 (3.5 for the massage, 0.5 for the ambiance). read more

I called & made an appt today & was told you be there at 3:15. I got there at 3:05 & waited only to be told that there were 2 walk ins & that I needed to come back at 4p. I left work early bc I thought calling & getting an Appt time meant I had an appt. apparently, this doesn't matter! Terrible business practice! read more

This is "a great massage" when they don't screw up the scheduling and fail to have a massuese there you've booked

If you're going here, you aren't going for glitz and glam pampering with your brunch squad. You're going here because you need someone to put in werk. W-E-R-K werk: To do something to an exceedingly excellent capacity (via Urban Dictionary) I've had many massages, and this was by far the best massage I've ever had. This review is important if you're someone that has a lot of tight muscles, arthritis, and/or need a masseuse that is bomb AF. I typically keep a lot of stress in my shoulder and neck area. I also admit that I often workout, but stretching is not where I excel at. Arriving here, my shoulders were in knots. The price for massages are extremely reasonable. I paid for a regular massage that's equivalent to a sports massage + deep tissue massage at other places. This is a massage place that is really going to work out the kinks. Things of note: (1) I'm pretty sure she realigned my entire spinal cord. Amen (2) I honestly didn't think I cared about oils and hot stones. I can now say that I care deeply. (3) They also use a warm wet towel to clean the oil off of you...Right, you get toweled off. I received the 60 minute massage. She did ask me if I preferred soft, medium, or hard. I don't know what I actually received, but I'll say it was medium. The next day I was extremely sore, but my muscles weren't tight. I knew because she focused on the area that was tight that I would be sore. The rest of my body that wasn't troubling did not have soreness. Day 2, soreness was not bad. Day 3 (Today), I feel better than I've felt in a long time. The place is great. read more

A Great Massage was more than that... it was a wonderful massage! They were able to get me in on a Saturday when I called last minute needing some back relief. The facility was nice, the prices were more than fair, and they are very talented! My back pain I had before the massage was resolved pretty much immediately, as well as a few knots they were able to work out that were in my shoulder. I had a great experience here! read more

A Great Massage gives what it's name says. They always do a awesome job. I leave pain free and relaxed. I have been to many high price spas for a massage and this place beats them all. You may not get a fluffy robe or a cocktail but you will get a great massage! read more

This was absolutely the best massage I've ever had!! True reflexology and a great price! $170 for 2 people for 90 minutes each. I left feeling better than I have in forever! As absolutely amazing as the massage was, the visit ended leaving us baffled. As we paid with a credit card (there is a 2 % fee for that by the way), we left a tip in cash. She asked for more!! I thought that was absolutely one of the rudest things to do. My son works as a waiter and is often tipped nothing. He doesn't hound his customers for a tip. That would be rude. Instead, he accepts what he is given and moves on. Typically grateful for what he got. I'm not sure this final comment will bring us back but if this doesn't bother you, the massage is AMAZING! read more

We made an appointment for 2:15 and we arrived at 2:12. Upon arrival, we waited till 2:20 for someone to come see us, and when they did they said it'll be a 40 minute to an hour wait. They told us to go to another location because they didn't have anyone available. There was a very prevalent language barrier, so it was hard to understand what was being told to us and hard for them to understand what we were saying. We ended up being seen at 3:00 and got a 10$ discount but the 10$ discount went to the mandatory 15% percent tip that they added after our massages. There was a sign was hidden behind the counter, they pulled it out when it was time to pay.... Very Shady read more

I booked an appointment for an hour long massage. We showed up and they said they could only do a 30 minute massage. They don't have someone who is always at the front desk, so they kept stopping someone's massage to talk to whoever came in. So it was interrupting the massage experience. Then after I have a 10% tip the lady stated it was 15% which was only $2 more....I understand, some people may not tip so she's making sure people tip correctly, but that needs to be stated on the pricing and website that gratuity is mandatory. read more

Her name is Carolyn. For her petite frame she has strong hands and uses lots of elbow and forearm. At one point she even crawled on my back to apply more pressure. Exactly how I like it and asked several times if it was Ok. She focused on my tense upper back and worked vigorously on my knots. You can't beat the price- $56 for a full body table massage. The place is clean however I did wait about 15 min on the table and since it's near the road it's a little noisy. But all can be overlooked for the price combined with a great massage. read more

This was the absolute worst massage I've received in my entire life! I only rated it a 1 because a zero was impossible. I wouldn't even call it a massage, more like a rubbing. I purchased a CBD Oil Deep tissue massage for 90 minutes with hot stones. It was not deep tissue at all. I even asked her could she deepen the massage but guess what, she didn't understand English. She massaged mostly with the towel and that was as deep as it got. When it came time to put the oil on, she squirted the cold oil directly onto my back instead of rubbing it together with her hands to create friction. So I'm like this couldn't get any worse. It did! The hot stones were everything but hot, mildly warm. I guess she didn't realize you could also rub them together and the friction would produce heat. There was no effort put into the massage and I'm even questioning if she was a real masseuse. You can tell she was inexperienced because when you massage certain parts of the body such as the forearm, there's usually a nerve response in your fingers. No nerve response felt. Out of 20 digits, only 2 were popped. I literally wasted 110.00 on a crappy massage. read more

Wow fantastic amazing. I'm definitely going back. Head to toe including hot stones. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Best massage I've ever had. I showed up in a tank top with a built-in bra, also went commando that day.. (Dont laugh I was wearing leggings) so when she told me to strip down to my underwear, I was a little embarrassed. They worked around me being topless .. Also its very private so you don't feel bad. A few things I loved.. Before she started the service she asked the pressure I liked. I like *extremely* hard pressure because I'm one tense bitch. She was AMAZING. no mall kiosk masseuse has ever come near this!! They have the rails so they can walk on your back too! Also not yappy to each other disrupting your peace while being reincarnated. So I HIGHLY recommend. I got the half hour at like 30 bucks i think and im set for a while. Super friendly. Will be returning. read more
