From the professional and friendly interaction with Jennifer on the phone and the wonderful service by Mike, Darrian and Nikko, the entire experience was pleasant and painless. Mile came out to access a situation with our AC, did a temporary fix and thoroughly explained all of our options. We decided to go with a total replacement of our heat and air. It was a 2-day job, which they did neatly and efficiently, even vacuuming any messes as they went along. They really seemed to enjoy their job and working together. They are truly "The Dream Team"! This is our second time using Blue Ridge; the first was replacing our furnace in a condo we owned in 2015, and we have been totally pleased with their work both times. Highly recommend!!!

I was looking for a smaller company to diagnose my central air issue. My experience with larger…read moreoperations is they charge way more to pay for all that overhead with their fleet of fancy trucks. I also liked the fact Anthony didn't have any of those scam maintenance contracts that the bigger guys try to intimidate you into signing. If they try to pull that crap, run. My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

Our 25-year old HVAC system was hanging on out of sheer loyalty... but the time had come to bite…read morethe bullet and purchase a new central air system. For those of you that have not priced these things out before, quite a bit has changed over time...like the cost! Also, technology has moved on as well, so it's virtually impossible to replace "just the condenser" without all the additional furnace components...they simply won't work together. We called several HVAC contractors...one of them being the large energy company we all know in this area. They came in and did their inspection and were very professional. But their price was 50% higher than the local competition. Yes you read that right!! I wasn't concerned about the "big guys" doing it right, since they are our current utility firm and we have appliance contracts through them. But in light of these tough economic times, I really wanted to give it to a small business. I just wasn't sure how well they would stand behind their work and whether they would do it right the first time. I did research and found two other options. The one that really stood out was AAA Comfort Air in Cream Ridge, NJ. They had over 95 five-star reviews, and although anyone can fake a review, I still felt compelled to do my due diligence. I set an appointment for Emil (the owner) to come in and assess the situation. He was professional, took his shoes off before entering (not at our request), and clearly laid out what was needed and NOT what was most expensive. As a matter of fact, he recommended options that were less expensive vs. those that would simply feed his wallet without added benefit to us. His demeanor was polite, knowledgeable, and he took the time (over 1-hour) to really explain everything without pushing for the sale. Additionally, there are some unique challenges in our home that require minimal dust due to some family health issues and he offered to put up plastic to separate the rooms to ensure a clean work environment. Well, much to my surprise, Emil, came back with an estimate that was truly outstanding vs. simply "competitive". Likewise, his firm provides a 3-year parts and labor warranty (not an option...he just provides it) along with the condenser manufacturer's 10-year. The others only offered 1-year.... that in of itself really resonated with me! We decided to move forward, and I have to say, we made the right decision. Emil and his team were outstanding. They arrived on time, ready to go, and their work was outstanding. Everything was done in one day, with a clean install and a fully working system. Look, HVAC replacement won't make your home look nicer, but it surely is important. No one wants to spend that kind of money unless they have to. Emil and his team were not only very competitive, but they delivered on their promises and were very customer focused. If you are seriously considering a project like this, you need to consider AAA Comfort air. They deliver on their promises and care about their customers. They go above and beyond and deliver with an eye towards balancing price with efficiency. We highly recommend them and you should absolutely include them in your decision-making process. They truly are "AAA".

Called the office twice, one left a VM mesage, no reply, one I spoke wit ha young lady and she said she would check and call me back - Nothing.! Two e-mail and no reply - so I forgot about it. Now, Today - The Start up cap goes bad on my unit and I call for a service, again I get get a pretty fast response but similar to the fist time they were delays and came a couple hours after they said they would; but they came and that was good. Then The spend 15 minutes replacing the Capacitor (I had the unit open and ready for them when they arrived) and they tried to hit me with a $400.00 + bill for 15 mins of work and a $20.00 part! I was not very happy and the tech had Tony call me and he offed to drop the price to $335.00 noting Two guys It doesn't take 2 guys to change out a cap.) and he has overhead! Well - I should have done this myself, but I wanted to have a qualified tech look it over just in case, never dreaming they would charge try to charge me $400.00+ for a 15 min job! Sure time, travel, gas, insurance, expenses, ect. all add up but there is a fair profit and there is highway robery . Next time I will use another HVAC repair shop just because Tony had the opportunity to make it right but he chose money over building a loyal customer. Never Again......... Sorry!
