Garden Window glass shattered

Shattered our garden window while weed wacking. Called a few places far and local and came upon A Glass and Mirror. Most places needed a week to come measure and install. Sent a few pics over and my man Angelo answered right away via text. Checked to see if they had the glass in stock and they did and said he would come right over. Glass was replace within an hour and Angelo was professional and courteous. Price was a good value and definitely be referring A Glass and Angelo for all window needs .

Angelo at A Glass & Mirror is a top-quality repairman. My window broke on a Wednesday night and he was here Thursday morning with THE BEST QUOTE out of 10+ businesses in the area. He furthermore made time for an additional, unplanned repair on another window after he finished the first project. The value for his expertise was an amazing experience since other businesses over-charged or tried to upsell me. I will absolutely refer him to friends, family, and call him again if needed for glass repair.

Angelo fix our large mirror , it broke on Sunday he came in to look at it on Tuesday and finish it by Friday . Good price and great service

I can clearly see now ... just what poor condition the original metal framed windows were. Most were stuck or hard to open, double panes had failed and condensation set in. Oh and the 1990's grid pattern .. yuck Can't say enough about "The Window Guild " (TWG) and the team that knocked out this huge project in 3 days!!! . Thanks to Quinn Steely for his superb project management... The team was so professional, hard working, punctual, and clean. If you are thinking of updating your home, help with your heating and cooling issues, I would highly recommend making the investment. And of course.. Let TWG give you a bid.. you won't be disappointed.

This was a far cry from the three other bigger named suppliers in the Napa Valley area. Adel came to our home with additional information and evaluated the scope of the project. We received the bid, sign the contract and a few weeks later his crew arrived and very professionally started to prepare for the installation of an eight foot sliding door where a five foot French door had lived for decades. The job was completed ahead of schedule and done to perfection. If you need to or want to deal with real people and real professionals The Window Guild is the company one wants to work with. My experience with California Energy Consultant Service started with an insulation estimate from…read moreMitch. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and took the time to explain the project and costs. We were getting quotes from several companies, so we hadn't made any decisions. What really stood out was that Phil, the owner, personally reached out that same evening to ask how the appointment went and whether our questions had been answered, regardless of whether we hired them. Coming from an HVAC sales background myself, that meant a lot to me. I've always appreciated family-owned businesses, and an owner who takes that kind of interest in a potential customer says something about how the company operates. Phil and I ended up talking about a roof replacement we were also planning. I'd already met with six roofing companies, but that conversation convinced me to get one more estimate. We ultimately hired California Energy for both the roof and insulation. What followed was a complicated project with multiple contractors working at our house, changing schedules, and a few unexpected problems. California Energy has been very accommodating throughout. Jamie, our project manager, deserves a tremendous amount of credit for coordinating everything. She's had to work around other trades, adjust schedules, and keep things moving while making sure our concerns were addressed. I know it hasn't been easy, and I genuinely appreciate the effort she's put into it. I've also had the opportunity to work briefly with Tony, another project manager, who has been incredibly responsive, helpful, and willing to step in whenever needed. John and Oscar, who handled the roofing work, have been excellent. They've been professional, attentive to details, and willing to follow through on questions or concerns. I genuinely have no complaints about my experience working with either of them. The roof is now complete, and the old attic insulation has been removed. We're waiting to blow in the new insulation until some electrical work is finished, with a few minor items still to wrap up. I also want to give Jose a special shout-out. While working at our home, he noticed an existing issue with our HVAC system that could have become a very expensive problem. Instead of simply pointing it out and moving on, he advocated for us, communicated with our existing HVAC contractor, and helped get the issue thoroughly investigated. That ultimately led to the discovery that our two-year-old rooftop HVAC unit was defective, and our HVAC company is now replacing it. Jose could have easily considered that someone else's problem, but he didn't. We're extremely grateful for his attention to detail and persistence. Thank you, Jose! Not everything has gone perfectly, but with a project of this size, I don't expect it to. What matters to me is how a company responds when legitimate concerns come up. In my experience, California Energy has listened, communicated, and worked to make things right rather than brushing us off. That speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. One thing that really stands out to me is how many employees I can name: Mitch, Phil, Jamie, Tony, John, Oscar, and Jose. Each has made a genuine impression and contributed to helping us navigate what has been a challenging few months of home projects. I think that says a lot about the people this company employs and the relationships they build with their customers. That kind of personal connection and accountability is becoming harder to find, and it's something I truly appreciate. We still have the insulation installation and a few finishing touches ahead of us, and I plan to update this review once everything is officially completed. Obviously, I can't speak to what their customer service will look like years down the road, but based on everything we've experienced so far, California Energy Consultant Service has earned an A+ from me. Phil has set a strong example as an owner, and his team has backed it up. From the initial estimate to managing a constantly evolving project, everyone involved has played a meaningful role in making this experience a positive one. I'm grateful we chose California Energy and appreciate everything their team has done for our family and our home.

The positives: Great communication, Alonso, Omar and Oscar…read morewere very attentive to detail and spent a lot of time making sure the end product of the windows and new trim is excellent. The negatives: a broken sprinkler, poor communication about permitting. Overall, we are very happy with the windows themselves. I wish the other details had been a little better, but big picture is that we are happy with the three contractors who spent all day in the sun and yet just powered through, not sacrificing quality work. Communication improved later, and we can already tell that these windows are better at keeping heat out than the old ones.

This is a little odd to say up front with a 5 star review, but we didn't end up having our windows…read moredone by Bestoff. We took over a half-dozen bids for a to-the-studs siding teardown and Hardie board replacement, using the opportunity to replace 21 old single pane windows and two sliding doors with new construction windows & doors. Of everyone we talked to, Sergey was hands down my favorite. If we were just doing with windows, we absolutely would have gone with Bestoff. The only reason we didn't go with Bestoff was out of their control: we ended up going with a singke business that does both siding and windows rather than splitting the work over two contractors. With that out of the way, here's why I liked Sergey so much: He's real. He's not a salesperson. He listens to understand what you want, but he takes pride in his work and he has a perspective (that he'll share with you) on what to do with your windows to bring out the best in your home. Most folks who came out just asked us if we wanted to keep our sliders in the same configuration. Sergey was the only one who went through each room, truly thought about the air flow and the aesthetics, and provided recommendations on each configuration. He acknowledged it was free advice, and it was -- we're going to follow his recommendations because they make sense, even though we never would have considered them before (and nobody else suggested them). And because Sergey takes pride in the outcome of his work, and not on his upsells, he never pressured me into any unnecessary frills. In fact, any time I considered a "premium" upgrade option, Sergey talked me down and explained why I didn't need it. For example, my head started spinning over energy efficiency and fire protection. I was debating SunMatrix/Quadratherm it's SunShield/Quadratherm for our south and west windows. Sergey was the only bidder to really take me through the pros and cons and ultimately make the case that, for this project, I shouldn't bother. Similarly, I emailed about WUI-compliant tempered gas after I realized I'm only 3 houses away from a high fire danger zone. I waited to know if it was worth getting the WUI glass. Sergey was the only bidder to go over the pros and cons in detail and explain why it would be an unnecessary expense for us. When when I let Sergey know we chose to go with a combined siding/windows contractor, he gave us even more advice on things to look out for to protect ourselves. If you're looking to do a substantial window project, give Sergey a call. I'm trying to manage my deep regret at not getting to work with Sergey. I'll feel a little better if I can imagine playing even a small part in another family getting to work with him
