thank you linda for doing an amazing job on my pedicure .i'm extremely picky and haven't found a pedi person in valenica . I travel 35 mins from valenica to get my pedicure done here . My co - worker suggested that i do foot modeling ! lol . she files them perfect and the polish job is on point . Vivian also does great gel -x extensions .She take slot of pride in doing nails and enjoys doing nail art . She can copy any photo or design of your choice . This is a no frills salon, clean, efficient and gets the job done. They took me in on a last minute appt, kept the appt time and I was out with a clean mani/pedi in one hour. Seems like a small business and I love supporting these kind of shops. Don't go in expecting a spa-like experience and you won't be disappointed. read more

Poor quality of service & customer service When my niece and I walked in we had to wait for them to get done doing each other's nails When trying to pick my color I was rudely told to sit down I was asked if I wanted long or medium gel x , I requested to see the different nails to determine which length was best , the nail tech opened them and I asked if she could hold the diff sizes up because I had foil on my fingers (soaking my old gel x off) and she got an attitude and just closed the cases I was told it would be $5 to remove my nails (8 nails 2 were broken) , no problem Then was told it would be an additional $10 to clean my cuticles up , a service that is usually included when I get my nails.... I then decided to just have my nails removed because they weren't friendly and I felt it was excessive to pay $80 + whatever the gel polish fee for my nails My niece received a regular mani pedi w/ a Matte gel top coat which was $50 Once we checked out they charged $10 for the removal instead of $5 -not to mention that they didn't even properly remove the nails, there is still remnants of gelx nails on my nails (See pics) $60 total Overall the experience was awkward and uncomfortable and we didn't feel like they wanted to do our nails read more

I gave this place 5 stars 8 months ago. I'm not sure what happened here. The front staff called to ask if I could push my appointment back (I said I could). I sat waiting in an empty salon for 15 minutes before asking the front staff girl who was on her phone where the technician was and she just said "oh yeah, she's waxing someone." The person who helped me was fine but there was only one technician, the front staff was rude and I was just really disappointed. Sadly, won't be going back here. read more

Vivian did my nails and she did such an amazing job! I'll definitely be coming back. She did a great job at shaping and the design. Just a fair warning: I guess they've been a lot busier lately because of the holidays and when I went in for my appointment last night, a bunch of appts that had come in throughout the day were late & because they try to still get everyone in, everyone else's appointments got pushed back. While I was there one client left after waiting 20 min and another client was waiting to get a text (what I concluded from context clues) to come back and didn't get one until 2 hours later. read more

I called to ask pricing for gel x long. She told me $60 so I came in. I was charge $80 for a very basic set that honestly wasn't that great. I had to guide him on the shape and I'm not that happy about it. He charged me $10 for cutting cuticle which as you can see in the pics are not done well and I wasn't aware of being charged. When I paid I told him she told me $60 on the phone and he just laughed it off. I'm just overall disappointed. read more

I just went here because it was close to my job. They told me $20 for gel pedi, I ended up paying 3 times the amount. If they offer you anything, ask for price because they are sneaky!! Charged me a lot for mediocre work Rushed when only one other person was there and they didn't even paint them nice. Not worth the money, never coming back. GO ELSEWHERE EVERYONE. read more

A great quality salon very hard to find for Los Angeles something that isn't over $100 for a simple manicure guess what a FULL SET and extensions for $65 professional, clean, free drink menu boba and actual pedicure chairs instead of a bucket with water in it, every place I been to in La has had just a bucket with shallow water. This is a simple clean salon that is professional the work they do is good quality for the price you cannot beat it and on top of that complimentary drinks and good music playing the experience was the most pleasing I had that didn't cost over $200 I also want to note that they are FAST my husband got a manicure and clear gel they paid attention to detail and did not even take more than 30 minutes a full set I was in and out in about an hour I can't say if it is always like this on busy days of course if you need something simple this is the place to go for a relaxing and professional experience that is affordable read more

Everyone is super nice here and very accommodating. If you're a walk in or calling for a last minute appointment they go above and beyond to try to get you in. On top of that if you have questions, ask and you'll receive great information or recommendations! Looking for a new nail salon home, I tried this nail shop out twice. Both times I overlooked micro aggressions by killing certain nail techs with kindness and staying in my own self caring moment of joy. I feel like it is necessary to mention for anyone wanting insight into their personality. As for quality, the first time, I immediately noticed a few bubbles in my gel nails and noticed them chip within a week. I am familiar with nail salons and was hoping I had found a good one, so I thought I'd give them one more chance despite this. The next time I went, my gel nails had specks and bubbles in them. My nail tech worked so hard to attempt to remove them that, for time sake, I was willing to still offer a larger tip for the effort. My gel nails only lasted a week before FALLING off in strips. I made sure I cared for my nails with gloves and did not handle any chemicals directly..."Were their materials cheap?" Came to mind... That experience was enough for my not returning. This nail salon let me down. I'm still looking for a good nail salon in Sherman Oaks. I hope your experience will be better. You may have to overlook certain uncomfortable micro aggressions and disturbing nail quality. read more

Love this place! Amy is the best! It can be pricey but they do such a good job!!!nails last don't break and they can do it all! They have great availability and I always leave happy! Highly recommend ! I use to get gel x and my nails would last 1 week. Amy does it and it lasts 6 weeks. Best job! My go to nail salon and pedicures are amazing too!!!! read more

RUN AWAY - don't walk!!!!!! I had gone to this place several times- happy with the service and it looked clean. Little did I know they don't properly sterilize their tools after using them. My finger got so infected (paronychia) after getting a mani pedi here bc the lady cut my finger, which I understand happens- no big deal...but it was a big deal bc their tools were not cleaned, as I mentioned. I had to see a hand surgeon, get half of my nail removed, go on 2 rounds of antibiotics and go back to the doctor on a weekly basis for the last 8 weeks and it's still not healed!!! I went in the shop to notify the owner so this doesn't happen to others- I wasn't looking for a refund or free mani. The women working said the owner would be in touch. The owner, Vivian, was and told me her lawyer would call me re: the large medical bill my finger required. Then she completely ghosted me and I never heard from her or her lawyer. If there was a zero star rating- I would give it. DON'T GO HERE- literally go anywhere else. Appearances can be deceiving- looks nice but is actually covered in bacteria. read more

While looking for a color, Amy approached me to let me know which chair I'd be in. The communication was on par from start to finish. I called prior to coming in to ensure they'd be open, and available to take me on a Sunday evening. They graciously took me in with no wait in sight. My standard pedicure was $25 in the massage chair + tip. Amy, my nail technician was solid. She was super polite, courteous and personable. I picked a pink color that wasn't quite hitting right (too light), and she insisted to help me pick out the color to avoid me having to get up and look for the color myself. I wouldn't have minded at all. Considering the fact that I'd just gotten done with my cuticles being removed, my feet were still damp. Taking that into consideration definitely felt welcoming. I can't front, it's a little hot up in here. But, it is summertime in the valley 0_o. Four solid stars because they still do their thing up in here. They've gotta hella color options, 3 manicure x pedicure services to choose from & they're polite.

I went to get my nail fixed and a day later a bubble started to form. Then the next day to top layer of another nail just popped off and now during class and I'm just sitting there another nail started peeling off! They've always been disorganized and nearly impossible to reach by phone, but they did a good job on my nails, so I kept going out of convenience. The last time I tried to make an appointment, I called repeatedly for THREE DAYS with no answer. I finally had to physically drive over, park, and walk inside just to make an appointment. When I politely explained that I had been trying to reach them for days, the woman working there was incredibly rude and actually told me there must be something wrong with MY PHONE. So I left a completely fair Yelp review. I even said they did a great job on nails -- my complaint was that good luck getting an appointment when nobody answers the phone. Instead of simply apologizing, the owner responded defensively and essentially accused me of being dishonest. Had the response been, "We're sorry you had trouble reaching us, we'll work on that," I genuinely would have happily updated my review. Well, today confirmed everything I needed to know. I called to make an appointment and was told they were "so busy" that they couldn't fit me in today. I asked about tomorrow and was told they weren't sure they could fit me in then either. That seemed strange, especially given my previous experience, so after yoga I told a couple friends what happened. One of them said, "Let me call and see." She called the SAME salon, on the SAME day, shortly after I had been told they were too busy to accommodate me. They offered her an appointment for 2:00 PM TODAY. So apparently there was availability -- just not for me. If a business wants to refuse service to a customer because they didn't like an honest Yelp review, that tells you everything you need to know about how they handle criticism and customer service. I didn't lie about them, insult their work, or make anything up. I described my actual experience -- including complimenting the quality of their nail services -- and apparently that was enough to get me blacklisted. The irony is incredible: my original review was about how difficult it was to get an appointment. Their response was to deny the problem, treat me rudely, and then apparently refuse me an appointment while offering one to someone else minutes later. There are far too many nail salons in Los Angeles with talented technicians AND basic professionalism to deal with this. Customer service matters. How you treat people when they have a criticism matters even more. I would not spend a dollar here.

This place is so centrally located on a busy cross street of Moorpark and Van Nuys where it is always a hustle to get through. But I finally find a down time to check it out. I wish I hadn't waited this long because the parking situation is a breeze as they give you free hour parking with validation. They didn't have a wait and the space was very expansive. One of the largest spaces I've seen especially because they have an upstairs and a grand downstairs that you're used to seeing from the street level as you driveby on your regular commute. All I can say is there service was impeccable and I loved the gel nails and the pedicure that I got. They had all my favorite color schemes and that's all that I can ask for.

The person doing my toes never once had a smile on her face - I paid extra for her to get rid of callouses and she barely scrubbed my feet. The person "Diane" doing my nails overly soaked my finger s and a week later they are still messed up it's as if my fingers were submerged in water for i2 hours- I am still feeling the effects and my fingers are all peeling like I have super glue stuck to them- not to mention the manicure was already chipped not even 24 hours later.
