No fancy concrete pads or swimming pools, just nice, level sites, mature trees, easy to get to from l84, and a great dog walking area. About 1/2 the park appears to be full timers and everyone we met was friendly. Showers are clean and well lit, as is the laundry ($2.25). Very little road noise. The view is spectacular! Lots of good places to eat just a few minutes away (Sweet Wife bakery and Inland Cafe were both worth returning to). There's a nice big Albertsons grocery and a big Ace Hardware. Less than $$$$ bought us a pull through site with full hookups, tree cover, and peace! We found a small bit well-stocked store, watched butterflies chase each other, and enjoyed the sweet grass smell of the park. It was amazingly quiet despite being conveniently close to the interstate. Alas no pool (oh well), and no recycling other than cardboard, but store was well stocked with local wine and regional craft beer--both chilled--which saved us an extra stop. Yes please. The park also appeared to have residential sites, but was clean and quiet, and perfect for passing through. The bathhouse was updated, and the staff were kind. It was a friendly stop all around! read more

very nice rv park, lots of trees, grass strip on both sides. bathroom/showers were clean, my only issue was the toilet stalls were tiny, my knees hit the door when closed, & trying to stand up with no room to lean forward was awkward. read more

Excellent find on our way through recently. We called ahead and we're able to reserve a spot even though we were showing up after the office closed. Staff gave clear instructions and everything was super smooth even rolling in after dark. Right adjacent the off ramp which did allow a little freeway noise but not bad and certainly better than many I've stayed in. The site itself was level with good hookups and some landscaping around: nice not to wake up in a gravel lot. Will definitely look at stopping here again next time we are in the area! read more

Smaller park with a huge run if you have doggos on board super friendly staff and easy access which could be a negative I suppose. It is quite near the highway just be aware although the noise from it wasn't terrible where we were. Extremely convenient stopover, would definitely stop there again read more

We had been on the road for 4 days and wanted an RV park to pull in so we could watch the season finale of our favorite show using our satellite. I called ahead and asked the lady if she had a pull-thru site available with an open sky for us. She said she did. We arrived a few minutes later and discovered the only place at her park not under trees was the office. She offered us a back-in closer to the edge of the park that she said might work. That meant we would have had to unhook that evening and hope our satellite worked. There was no cable. Then, we'd have to hook back up the following morning. I asked her why she didn't tell us and her response was that they had trees there. I felt she should have been honest when I called. So, we needed to drive through the park to turn around. It was a little hairy. Quite a few folks live in the park and some clean-up is necessary with clutter. read more

Stayed here for two days and slept in back of my vehicle during late October. Felt super safe and welcomed here which was important to me since I am a woman and was traveling alone. The check-in guy actually walked me out to a couple of sites. What service! Bathrooms were warm and I appreciated the showers. Since I came in the fall the trees were gorgeous! I also liked that this place was very close to the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. read more

An independently owned gem! Very nice owner, clean campground, and a HUGE 16 acre dog run. They even put personalized welcome signs at each spot prior to your arrival (nice touch). Would stay again when passing through the area. Note, there are a lot of permanent residents, but that had no impact on our stay. read more

Great place! Super easy access to I-84, yet little to no highway noise. Big front parking lot for extra car or trailer parking. Cheap propane and laundry on site! Great monthly and nightly rate (lowest we've ever had at a nicer place like this on the west coast). Huge fenced dog run in the back with beautiful views of the mountains. Just far enough off the freeway to offer some peace and quiet. A few locals who reside here permanently were very welcoming and made for an enjoyable stay. As for the park itself the bathrooms were VERY small, but well cleaned, and the laundry could use an update. An hour of drying still did not dry what normally dries in 20 minutes. Okay if you need a light load done but don't plan on a weeks worth of wash. read more

Horrible people. Not friendly charge you for everything. Most parks offer free bathroom or showers not this place. Several and I mean several monthly people with so much junk outside their trailers. I don't feel safe so many of them walking around being nosy wanted to know who you are, where you're from how long you're staying. I'll never stay there ever again. Staying in an Rv Park regardless overnight or a few days should be enjoyable and peaceful. This place is not. Found a REALLY nice place just a little ways down the road called Mountain View on Hughes lane. Now they make you feel welcome. Friendly And Clean. read more

For a stop-over, this place has it all. Free wi-fi, local channel listing on the hand-out, full hook-ups, nice long pull-thru's. Restaurant and tire shop is right around the corner. I would have expected to pay at least twice what they charged us. Will save for future trips. Love it. Five stars. read more

We stayed a night in our two tents in Oregon Trails west RV Park and this RV park had an unexpected surprise for us, at least for me as I had stayed outside in the evening on a bench filling things on my notebook in the dim light. There were only trailers and RVs there, and everybody was inside probably watching TV, it was maybe 10:30pm and the place was very quiet. Then I heard a low noise, I didn't pay attention at the beginning, it was a vehicule driving very slowly at some distance along the lanes of the RV Park, and as it was coming near, I watched in its direction and saw something quite incredible : it was a small-size white pickup truck, not one of those big models, with an horizontal hose coming out from the bed of the truck, sprinkling a thick liquid/mist of insecticide. When I saw the thing, I immediately understood it was insecticide, I couldn't move, I was so surprised and in disbelief : I had heard a couple of mosquitoes but they weren't very agressive and everybody was indoors anyway, so I think this spraying was the most stupid thing I had seen in a campground. Still frozen by the surprise, the white pickup truck passed slowly along the alley near which I was sitting at a campground table, and I soon felt the tiny droplets of the mist all around... Crazy, and pointless endangering of all the people in this campground. I winessed the fall of several insects while I was sitting there holding my breath to minimize the intake, but with all the fields around this was like a drop in the ocean. This weird episode may be related to the threat of the West Nile virus, the vector of which is a mosquito, I really don't know if this was the reason. I didn't consider it wise, being a foreigner, to go at the office complain about this spraying the next morning. We were ant no moment informed by the office when we checked in that this RV Park did massive insecticide spraying in the evening. read more

Park is below average in cleanliness, and appearance. Our picnic table was nasty and unusable. A man and woman were in office upon arrival. He was friendly, she did not greet, acknowledge, or welcome us when doing our registration. Upon leaving today, she came out to fill our propane tank. Not a hello, good morning or smile. I would think that someone in the service industry, dealing with the public would address and welcome their customers..or they won't return again... Like us. People skills needed here!!! read more
