I had chipped a cased Waterford crystal martini glass.... I looked up what it would cost to replace one and was shocked, so I did a search to find crystal repair places. A E Crystal was one of the only ones that did what I was looking for. I took the chipped glass in -- and Eddie ground it out PERFECTLY. When I got home I compared the repaired glass with an undamaged one and was amazed because there was ostensibly no difference. I don't know how he did it, but the repaired glass looks almost exactly the same height as the other! I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend AE Crystal! I am so happy with the engraving on my 1942 don julio bottle. Eddie was so patient and so nice, he answered all of my questions and even sent me pictures of what the bottle would look like with all the changes I kept making to them. This is a very professional engraving store, they have great customer service. When I was picking up my bottle I couldn't help but notice the crystal name plaques in their display. Eddie came through in the clutch. I needed some bottles of rum engraved last minute, and he was able to make it happen over the course of a weekend. He even went above and beyond to match the color of the gold writing on the bottle to the engraved copy, which was just the attention to detail I would have totally been oblivious too, and he didn't even charge me extra for it. It was $20 per bottle (he doesn't charge by the word/letter, just by the job), and although I had called around and received cheaper quotes on the phone, no one could execute the job in my requested time frame, so I'm ok with paying a little extra for my tardiness. Very happy with price, quick online communication, flexibility in customizing fonts, and final etching of my wedding champagne glasses! I have been driving around LA looking for someone to engrave my wedding champagne glasses. I went around the Jewelry District with no success and I should have hit up Yelp sooner. I found some street parking right around the corner. walked in and one if of the people there greeted me right away. I showed him what I wanted engraved, and he quoted me a price lower than someone else I found that was going to hand engraved the glasses. he had me choose a sign off of his computer, but I was lucky enough to delegate the task to my fiance. the invoice up front and I was able to communicate via email exactly what we wanted, with differential fonts, lettering and all. Once I came back to pick up my glasses, I was very happy with what I saw. my only complaint is that they are not open on weekdays which makes it difficult for pickup if you work full time. Like many of you I had a special request, I've called many places before and they couldn't step up to the plate on what I wanted to do, I call Eddie and told him my vision of what I wanted to do, so I asked him if he could do it he didn't hesitate to give me the answer I was lookin for "YES I CAN", he also gave his input on the project work around some of the details and made it work (the wait was well worth it), if you wish to know what we did all I can say is that we incorporated a Tribal Mexican Eagle, an Aztec Snake, and an Aztec Sun, it don't seem like much but maybe you'll get to see it one day if it gets implemented on to the website, but for now i'll just leave it to your imagination.
