Terrible experience with this shop. They engraved my medal, but the engraving was clearly crooked. My husband picked it up and didn't notice until he got home to show me, but as a creative director and graphic designer by trade, I could easily tell. I mocked it up in the attached photo (the red lines are all parallel to each other and shown in comparison to the date on the medal). When I called to let the shop know, the man who did the engraving immediately denied that it was crooked without even seeing it. I explained that it was, but he continued to rudely and defensively insist otherwise. His tone was combative and dismissive, and at one point he even said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it??" To make matters worse, he ended the call by saying, "Well, have your husband come back for his $30 then. All this for just $30," in a condescending and dismissive tone, as if the issue wasn't worth his time or care. My husband did end up going back to the shop after my call, and he said that the man and his partner were both doubling down and insisting that the engraving was straight. They even asked two other people waiting in the shop what they thought, and both confirmed that the engraving was indeed crooked! We did get our money back, but in the end, they continued to disagree with my husband, never admitted the engraving was off, and never apologized -- even after others confirmed the crooked work too. Our issue is more with the fact that they were completely unprofessional and unwilling to take any accountability, which is especially disappointing given that this was an irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime medal. I would never trust this shop with anything meaningful or sentimental. If you have anything precious or irreplaceable that you need engraved, do not take it here. I was fooled by all the good reviews, and while I can't go back in time to fix it, I'm hoping this review spares someone else the same headache and regret. read more

I came here to engrave a limited edition Zippo for a close friend of mine and I had a great experience here. I dropped off the lighter around 11am and it was ready around 3pm. I filled out a quick form and chose the font. That's it! It was a simple and easy process. I have more gifts to personalize and I will definitely be coming back. I saw that they do more intricate designs and logos, so definitely reach out at least for a quote. Parking is pretty much impossible at the jewelry district, so I wish you all the luck in the world...or you can park at the many private lots nearby. They're great here! Reached out to a ton of engravers and this place stood out the most. Right off the bat they were super responsive and very easy to work with. Sent in the engraving instructions for my ring and cufflinks in advance, quickly dropped off the items, and just as quickly picked up. Super seamless. The store is in a large building fill of jewelry stores. Try not to get blinded by all the bling . Store is very easy to find. Very safe location. Street parking is impossible. Had to park in the lot downstairs (and around the corner). Price was by far the lowest of all my quotes. They even gave me an additional discount because of the number of items I brought in. Their engravings came out great. Looks exactly as I hoped. They will be my go-to for any sort of engraving. read more

Update 1-13-2018 I see that the shop has the audacity to lie their asses off. What I did not mention is that there was a customer who was vividly upset and arguing in a foreign language over a product that was apparently damaged after having it engraved. He had the item in his hand and it was a yelling match between the shop and the customer. I now understand that the customer was upset over the blatant lie and lack of ethics, which is clear based on the shop's response on my original post. Another lie is that they never contacted me. I am so ticked off I am willing to go through all my phone records to prove to them that they never contacted me. As expected, the shop denies their wrong doing and puts the blame on the customer. SHAME ON YOU! read more

I came across Laser Craft through an online search since there was no one in my area that could engrave my fiances ceramic ring. I am in Ohio and was not familiar with a company on the other side of the country, but the owner Shant was prompt to respond to all my emails! The turn around time was quick as I only had 3 weeks until our wedding to get it engraved. The ring turned out wonderful and I could not be happier! For anyone out of state that comes across Laser Craft, you found a great company! It was only 1.5 weeks from the time I shipped the ring til the time it came back to my house! read more

I found this place on Yelp looking for quick-turnaround engraving on a watch bracelet as a Christmas present. I don't live in L.A. but was visiting for the holidays, so I could only stop in the last day they were open before the holiday (Friday the 22nd). I talked with Shant through Yelp and at first he said they had a backlog of holiday work to do and couldn't do it on that turnaround but when I let him know I didn't get into town until Thursday night, he said they could do it if I brought it in at 10am Friday and that it might take until 3-4pm. To my great surprise and pleasure I dropped it off at 9:45am and had it back by 11 for only $50! I am so thankful that they could make this project happen with such short notice, and the engraving looks great. read more

Shant of Laser Craft was very nice via emails and in person. He replies very quickly. I dropped off my daughters Littmann Stethoscope at 930am and he called me at 1017am saying it was done. Everybody else that I called said it was too small to engrave, too difficult, or it was 5 times more expensive than Laser Craft's price. The work is precise and looks nice. I highly recommend Laser Craft Engraving. read more

I needed a tungsten carbide item engraved in a rare foreign language. This metal requires a laser for engraving and the language did not have a standard font available in the US. I had been trying multiple other engraving places in the area with no success. I called Laser Craft Engraving after finding them on Yelp. The son answered and was so helpful. He said he I could just walk right in and they would engrave it since I had a printed and email version of what I wanted engraved. He was able to do it for me right on the spot, within 10 minutes! They showed me a sample of what it would look like and a price estimate before completing the real engraving. I was so happy after running around downtown. And very, very nice people! I am so happy with their service and my gift looks amazing and unique. They also offer laser engraving for rings, jewelry, and watches. They do custom engraving or have numerous fonts to choose from. They work on gold, silver, titanium, stainless steel, titanium, platinum, tungsten, ceramic, and porcelain. Basically anything you want. Fyi, they only take cash (or at least not credit cards). There is an ATM in the lobby of the building if you forget. I have no idea how the prices are compared to other places as I didn't get estimates from anywhere else but it seemed reasonable. Parking is terrible. It is downtown LA. read more

The engraving is top notch. The service was quick and professional. Everything this experience needed to be and more. I highly recommend.

Before coming here, I called a few different places and I am so glad I decided to go with Laser Craft Engraving. Shant was personable over the phone (which got me to choose them) and in-person. I also loved how he was honest in telling me in what he can do and couldn't. They are all about quality and Shant definitely demonstrated this. He did a beautiful job on my engravement for my boyfriend's gift (engraved his and my initials on the metal parts of his glasses). Also the engravement was totally affordable and not some ridiculous amount that you get quoted for from Things to Remember or other places ($2 per character but may be a bit more depending on the type of work they do, so be sure to ask first). If you want a beautiful and personalized engraving on your gift, go with this company! You will definitely not regret it. :) read more

If I could only write into words how this place saved my behind during Valentine's Day, I would run out of space. Called Sean in advance and said 'no problem' to engraving a luggage tag. Hopped on the Gold Line train to Union Station, then to the Red Line subway. Just over a block from Pershing Square Station (I love not having to drive downtown). Took about 15 minutes, so I went for a walk in the Jewelry District, came back to have the tag ready. Very good work and great service! read more

Quick, professional, and they do a quality job! I had the inside part of two tungsten rings laser engraved here with custom engravings (of my handwriting). They were flexible and accommodating, allowing me to have the newly bought rings delivered to their store and then they mailed the finished product to me. The price for a custom engraving was very low compared to other stores in the LA/Pasadena area. Would love to take my business here again in the future! read more

This place is amazing. I came in the day before Christmas and my item was engraved beautifully and quickly on the spot. Laser Craft Engraving is wonderful. I called with some questions about getting some watches engraved. Shant was very patient and gave me a reasonable quote. He was helpful in explaining that I'd first need to have the bracelet part of the watch removed and even referred me to a vendor in the same building that would help with that part of the process. I ended up bringing in the watches and had them back in 24 hours. They looked beautiful. I'm so glad I found Laser Craft on yelp, and they'll be my "go to" for all my engraving needs. read more
