They responded back to me within about 10 or 15 minutes. I appreciated the quick response. This is an update to my original review. I told the guy that I wanted to come out there and look at the materials, he said okay. I confirmed the hours. I got there and it was all locked up gated up so I called. He said he'd be there in about 5 or 10 minutes which actually turned out to be 15 to 20 minutes. A little hole in the wall literally, out in Glendale, took me about an hour to get there. He was not very pleasant, kind of rude. I started to walk out but they were the best estimate for my budget. I hope it was worth it and not a waste of my time. Amazing amazing place!!! My new go-to for customized personal and professional gifts and professional engraved items! They were able to squeeze me in at the end of the day, which saved the day for me! They also gave me good advice about engraving glass - apparently we need to avoid double paned glass because it was plastic in it. Overall, an amazing experience and worth it totally! I dropped off five drinking glasses that I purchased at Disneyland to be laser etched with my siblings' names on the back. We agreed that the names would be centered on the back. When I picked them up, I was in a hurry so I only looked at one and it looked great. When I got home and had time to look at them all I saw that four of the five names were completely off center! I called to let them know what had happened and I was told that "that's just the way it is. We can only center from top to bottom, not side to side." I explained that one of the names was mostly centered so, why not the rest of them? "You got lucky" was the response. When I said I was dissatisfied and that I should have been advised that it couldn't be centered instead of being reassured that it could, he became very irate and began to yell at me. He said he didn't care and "thank you for the bad Yelp review!". So I guess I have to leave a review. Also, I brought the glasses individually wrapped in tissue paper to protect them. They were returned to me stacked up inside each other with no tissue or anything to protect them. I'm very disappointed. I definitely do not recommend ICRAFTS. read more

My project with Be One Crafts bordered on incompetence and I cannot recommend this business. My experience was identical to that of another reviewer whose engraved item was essentially destroyed by Peter's carelessness and inattention to detail. I contacted the business via this site and received an estimate for my project. I received a response and a quote shortly thereafter. The price was reasonable and I said I would drop the item off. On the day I went to drop the item off, the store was locked and no one was around, despite the open sign being lit. I messaged Peter and waited awhile. Several hours later I got a reply that he had been "at the warehouse." I said I would be by the following day. The project was to add initials and wedding date to the knob of a Le Creuset dutch oven. Peter and I sat at his desk and put together a mock-up. He said there would be an additional charge to put the initials above, and date below, the factory label on the knob. That seemed petty for such a small job when he'd wasted an hour of my time the day before, but I agreed and paid. When picked up the item, I was horrified. Peter had been careless copying and pasting the mock-up, and had re-engraved 'Le Creuset' directly above the manufacturer label. This was of course unnecessary, ugly, and caused the initials of the bride and groom to be much higher above than the date is below. Please see the photos, it's a travesty. Only a person paying zero attention to their work would make such an obvious error. I should note that Peter told (shouted at) me straight up that he "just cut and pasted," which seems like a pretty clear confession that he's not actually looking at WHAT he's copying and pasting. Is this how you want your engraving work completed? Frustratingly, Peter was aware I had driven all the way to San Clemente to get this knob because I wanted it to be perfect for gifting. His suggestion today that I drive down there a second time to purchase another one for him to re-engrave "for free" (LOL), and hopefully get right this time around, was too much. Sorry sir, you've now wasted several full days of my effort and taken $45 of my money to ruin an item I drove 90 minutes to purchase. Thanks but no thanks. I'll save the gas and Yelp about it. Don't go to Be One Crafts for engraving projects. The lack of attention to detail has led to very poor results for me and other customers. This experience cost me time and money I will never be able to get back. read more

I was in need for an emergency engraving on a Parker Pen for my grandfather's birthday. First off, the website AND Yelp say that the hours go until 10p, which I couldn't believe! So my boyfriend and I drove over and got there around 6:30p. And the open sign was flashing, yet everything is locked up and closed. Boyfriend called the number and the man told us to come between 10:30a-6p the next day. I come over the next day at 10:35a and the place is CLOSED. Lovely. I called the number, no answer. Finally after 30 minutes, he answers the phone and tells me that he's open now. I walk in, he's not very talkative or very kind, just to the point. He tells me he can have it done by the next day at 4p. He got it done earlier than 4p which was nice, but once again, very to the point, not very expressive or friendly, but at least he got the job done. It should've been a lot easier than this to get a pen engraved, but he got it done and for $35 too. read more

After concluding my visit at Be One Crafts Peter was able to fix the myriad of issues I had earlier in the week. Even though the first name is in all caps (which wasn't on the previous plate) he was able to redo and fix the engraving mistakes that were made prior. Aside from the minor formatting error to the top name, everything looks pretty good. Although I'm still upset for how much time it took, paired with the extra trips, wasted gas, the disorganization, and runaround I received from the management, I'm still happy Peter apologized and made this right. I was charged and paid $35 for the engraving. At the end of the day I thank the management for finishing the task and not leaving me hanging on it. So I needed 11 Louisville Slugger bats engraved with Player Names & Numbers for my Dodger Baseball Players called around to a few places and everyone wanted to charge me twice as much as the price for the bats... Then I came across Be One Crafts made the call and he threw a rough estimate at me but asked if I could bring them in so he could give me a better price and review what I actually wanted and location on the bat.. I took me a few minutes to park as he is located in area with street parking only and depending on the time can be hard to find... I know if you purchase from Apple they'll do it for free, but Apple doesn't offer custom fonts nor custom placement. I met Peter in 2018 when I was looking for an engraving shop for my dad's retirement party. I starting calling around and it was a Sunday. Almost all the shops within a 30 mile radius from my home was closed or didn't engrave glasses. I was lucky when I called BeOne Crafts and Peter answered. He said he could get the job done by the next weekend. He worked with me on the unique, individual design for the engraving/etch on the glasses. And in the end he pulled through with a reasonable price. In 2019, I went back to him for two plaques. He gave suggestions to beautiful designs to make the plaques look professional, elegant and something the recipients could treasure. He was fast and personalized each job. I told him I'd be back for my mom's retirement party later in the year. Fast forward to Dec 2019, I made the largest order I've made with him for glass etched champagne glasses. He sat with me for a good hour in designing the font, message, picture and overall look of the glass. I picked them up ready for my mom's retirement party and the party was a hit! It was so elegant and also conveyed the message of cheers and well wishes for my mom. It helped bring a room full of 150 friends and family together to celebrate my mom and each other, their friendship, love and laughter they've shared over the years. What I love about Peter is his willingness to please you with each order, creative ways of making the product look amazing and appropriate each event. He takes time to design using his computer program and other machine resources that he has in his shop. He is also pleasant to talk with. He is accessible when you call his shop number. One time I came during lunch to pick up a plaque and called, and he drove right over - I think he lives close to his shop :) Honestly, it's wonderful working with Peter. All his work were presented to commemorate years of hardworking and dedication. And they were nicely portrayed in those glasses and plaques.
