Previous boarding facilities I would use would have small kennels that would leave me feeling guilty... not here!! , Here she gets her own air conditioned suit and little yard! it's more like I'm dropping her off at summer camp and I know she's gonna have a ball! The facilities are stunning, clean and they even have a pool. I will never board anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, and I know my Remi has so much fun while I'm away. It is absolutely adorable and I see the staff taking really good care of all the dogs outback. I do take my dog for grooming, and they are super attentive, very sweet, and took good care of his haircut. I will definitely be going back here.

I asked if there was any payment plan that I could do because it was so expensive for the 11 days that I had to leave my dogs with her which were not expected. Nope. It was only supposed to be three days. She would not have it. I paid her the full amount and picked up my dogs, but I would not recommend this facility. I do not know how my dogs were treated as I cannot ask them, but I do know they were really happy to come home.

I'm really not sure what all of the areas separated by glass are for, and there wasn't anyone around to help. I was looking for something specific for my dog, but never could find an associate walking around in the store. There were no customers at the checkout counter so I was walking up to the girl there and she turned away and walked into the back. I thought that was kind of rude so I waited. But after a couple of minutes I gave up and left the store. I hate that is the only big pet store in town and I guess I will try some of the smaller locally owned ones.

She said that's too small and refused to sell me the fish. I couldn't believe it. I told her I also have a larger one. She literally called me a liar. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager and would not sell me the fish. I've been doing business with Petco for 20 years but I will never walk through their doors again. I don't like being called a liar. I have deleted the Petco app from my phone. I strongly advise others to do the same.

The staff were all super friendly and responsive. And they have convenient after hours kennels so you can drop off or pickup outside of their working hours, which is super helpful for a late trip or flight home. About 10 mins from the airport, straight shot on 71. Random fun fact - there's also a great Thai place on the corner when you turn onto the road up to barking springs. Lots of room for them to play with other dogs and run around, inside and outside facilities to accommodate cold or heat, and they get to play most of the day apart from when they are closed for lunch ("nap time") or in the evening after 7pm. My only improvement recommendation is if they would consider doing a report card with photos each day, that would be awesome! I was able to text in and ask about the status of my dog though, and they were very responsive. We will be back!!! Had a great first visit and my dog was very excited when we reached the property, she recognized it from her evaluation day and basically ran over to the front door. Oh also they were extremely kind to help me get my dog in and out of the car.

Over his life he's boarded/daycared at a variety of different places but what makes Barking Springs special is the focus on outdoor play and the caring staff, most of who have been a constant since he began going. I trust them wholeheartedly to take care of Riggins, as well as have recommended multiple friends to use their service. Additionally they have been so helpful managing him when I've had to send him in a cone, with medicine, or when I've needed to make last minute changes. He's also a regular in the after hours pick up / drop off rooms due to my travel schedule and I've never had any issue. As a solo dog mom Barking Springs is truly next in line of people I trust with him behind me.

She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I'm basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There's obviously more to it than just grunting so make you're appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don't have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don't have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now! It's crazy. It's totally working! No treat or punish training. My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn't separation anxiety barking outside when she can't see me. It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her. Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it's working. Hunny fell in line immediately. My dogs aren't CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Adette was so patient with us and we were able to take care of all the info over the phone and have Jill, our pitbull, there within an hour even though it was within closing time. Jill looked so happy when we picked her up vs how she looked when we picked her up from the sitter that cancelled on us. The ranch was very clean and we would recommend them to anyone.
