Even after making a purchase McLaren Rancho Mirage stays connected. They often host private parties and new model previews for their clients. The most recent event for the new McLaren 720S was one of the most memorable events I have ever attended. In the beautiful courtyard of La Spiga I was transported to a Tuscan Villa complete with a gazebo, rose bushes and olive trees. There, parked in the middle of the courtyard, I fell in love with what will be my future acquisition, the setting sun glinting golden hour off her freshly waxed paint. It was a wonderful night filled with fun, food and friends that created a truly magical evening. Most importantly, ownership of a McLaren will be magical too. We were having trouble with our air conditioning and definitely needed some help, as the temps were in the 90"s that week. I walked over and talked to the owner, who let me know they were super busy, but he could probably come over the next day to check it out. As promised, Freddy and his team called the next day to let me know they were coming, diagnosed the issue, and said he'd order the necessary parts to get it fixed. He called once the parts came in and set up a time to install the next day. He arrived, on time, installed the new parts, showed me the failed old parts, tested the units and let me know what to do if I had any issues with the A/C from that point on. During the entire contact Freddy and his group were friendly, on time and extremely helpful. Love that it's a family business, and appreciate that he's a proud vet. Great people, great service. The mechanic did a really through job and said our breaks were good but our back wheel seal was leaking. That was a really important thing to catch and fix right away and also what was causing our break performance to go down. They could have ripped us off but they were honest, fit us in and got the job done. We left feeling like family and will definitely go back to see them again. The owner and his son almost died recently in a head on crash and are putting all the pieces of themselves / and the business back together again. I really admire their strength and resolve through so much pain and difficulties. There are some bad reviews because of this time period and I wanted to get on here and say... don't let the negative comments keep you away. The owner is back and things are flowing smoothly again under his management. His family has been helping him out and just doing their best while he was healing. Then there is Josh the blatant liar who lied to me in text when I was confirming that the due bill work had been completed and our RV was ready for delivery. He was even stupid enough to send me a picture of work that had not been done, while telling me it was actually done. Mind you, we were CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS. We had to beg for wiring information, Chris and Anthony downright ignored my requests for Extended warranty information. Josh flat out lied, both verbally and in writing. Our new RV was scratched when it was taken out for fuel. It was delivered with a chip and crack in the windshield and an aqua hot system that required over $2k in repairs just days after we took delivery. These people are liars, they are dismissive, demeaning, and disrespectful. Sorry I forget their names, however their courtesy and work is stellar. They showed me the transmission parts that were shot. The car is still running well. Their price for the repair was more affordable than other places we were quoted. The only downfall was the car wasn't ready on the day we were told it would be.
