Our AC on our airstream took a dump right at the peak of June and July heat. Clayton, Anthony and Rudy were so amazing and saved us from going from Airstream to air fryer. Tech came out to look at my awning. He spent 10 minutes looking and measuring and then they promptly charged me $300 for the trip charge and determining what I needed. After calling them with no answer about where we were at in this I received an estimate from them for over $2,000. They said they had to replace both arms and needed 2 techs for install (I found a pair of arms for $799 + shipping) and a new motor was included in the repairs. I do not need a new motor,,,only a new arm! read more

The left front leveler snapped while retracting. I called numerous RV repair services in the greater Palm Springs area and could not get anyone to either call me back or if they did, I was told that they could not help. That all changed when I called Jerry at The Express Tech! Jerry sent one of his best Technicians out to the RV park where I was staying and once diagnosed we started looking for a part. The leveler company was no longer in business so we could only search for used parts. I found a part in Kentucky and the Express Tech technician, Jackson, returned to fix the problem. The motor on the used leveler I purchased was bad - go figure! Not a problem for Jackson! He changed out the motors and in about 90 minutes my leveling system was working again. The courteous and efficient service that I received from both the business owner and his mechanic, Jackson, was greatly appreciated! This kind of treatment is (sadly) difficult to find these days! We were traveling and needed immediate assistance. Their call center was professional and took down all of our information, stating that a tech would call us back "shortly". We waited in Home Depot parking lot for a couple of hours...no call. We called a 2nd time, and again gave all of our relevant information to the dispatcher who confirmed that techs were indeed working (it was Saturday), and that our request would be put through a 2nd time and marked "urgent". We had Express Tech in to do work on our unit. The work done by the tech was completely unsatisfactory. We had to hire someone else to fix the tech's mistakes. Jerry agreed to refund our money but never did it. We have tried phoning and have left SEVERAL messages with no response. We also contacted his recommended agent, Mike, again with no response. We have contacted our bank and Visa, but they say Jerry has to do what he said he would do. He says he cares about his customers, but we have seen zero evidence of that. Very unprofessional behavior. I had a slide out that wouldn't go in all the way. Called Express Tech and they came to my house to repair it. After disassembling it they found the problem and had to order the parts. I understand that most repair places are backed up right now. I also never do reviews. This is a first for me. I bought a new used RV. The bed tilt function will not work and basically makes it to where we can't use the bed at this point. I called this company and made an appointment with them. They were booked out 3-4 weeks which was ok because we were going to be in the area for about 4 weeks before we needed to leave for Arizona with the motorhome. They called this morning 3 hours before our appointment and said they had to cancel because one of their techs had a personal problem or family emergency and that they were not even sure he would come back to work. They said they are now booked out to May and made no effort to get me back on the schedule before we leave town. It is now too late to get anyone else in the area to come out. Had I known they were going to do this I would have never wasted the last 3 weeks waiting for them. Would not recommend them at this point. read more

Had Express Tech out to make several repairs on our class A diesel pusher. Since we are full-timers, it's so much easier to have someone come out to the coach rather than taking it in for repairs. Our call was returned promptly and service scheduled right away. The tech came out right on time and was probably the most courteous, efficient and thorough person to ever work on our coach (which is 5 years old and has had a number of repairs). We had 3 repairs that needed to be made. He was able to make the first 2 and ordered parts for the third. We were called when the parts came in and the tech was able to come out the same day to finish the repairs. Pricing was competitive (anyone who says otherwise hasn't had repairs recently!) and everything worked perfectly after the repairs were make. If we ever need repairs again while we are in this part of the country, we'll be sure to have Express Tech back again. Had problems with solar panel in my motor home and suspected house batteries were the problem as they were about 5 years old. Called Express Tech and talked with Clayton who sent out a tech in 48 hours to diagnose the issue. House Batteries were replaced which is no easy task, Ray the tech discovered they were installed wrong and also discovered and replaced a melted fuse to the engine battery. I purchased a 13 year old travel trailer to live in for 9 months after the sale of my house while my new home is being built. On the day it was delivered to Desert Hot Springs at the end of June, I discovered that the thermostat which controls the AC Unit was broken, which made staying in the RV impossible at this time of the year. I found Express Tech in an online search and boy did they live up to there name. Rudy arrived the next morning and was able to fix the thermostat, even though it was so old they no longer make them, which saved me a lot of money. Fast forward 6 weeks and the AC Unit, itself, has finally succumbed to the non-stop triple digit heat wave. Once again, Express Tech to the rescue with Anthony arriving the next day to diagnose the problem and keep the unit running while he ordered an express replacement. The staff at Express Tech are professional, courteous, very knowledgeable about RV AC Units, and able to answer virtually any question you may have about your AC unit. But most important, they are prompt, understand the urgency of your situation, and treat it as if it were there own. Clayton, the office manager returns calls right away and always follows up as promised with any information, pricing or updates. Supposed to be reliable! if you have a job and the owner/manger says the employee will be there at 9, and it's a four hour job, they batter be there. 9 came and went and now the head honcho is saying the arrival time was between 8-11. Not fair at $150.00 an hour and very possibly the generator didn't even need to be repared according to another tech. We just had our system fixed the day before and he disassembled everything that was done. Faced with the threat of 70mph winds in less than 24 hours and a torn power awning, it would have been a perfect storm to rip the mechanical arms right off my coach. I got the card for Express Tech from a neighbor and forwarded it to the manager at Sparkling Waters mobile home and RV Park to come out and do an evaluation after my fifth wheel and my neighbors RV were both trashed by faulty pedestals as Sparkling Waters. The text is here and lied and said that the pedestals were fine that there had never been a power surge and that everything wrong with our trailers was pre-existing which was a flat out lie. Then refuse to write anything up or give us a copy of what his evaluation was so that we would have it for our information and our records. Gave a copy to the park manager which has continued to lie to us for the last 5 months that they were going to fix our damage and now it's turning into a lawsuit to get our repairs done. The service guy from Express Tech even told my neighbor that he couldn't tell either one of us anything that was wrong with our trailers and was told by the park manager to make sure he wrote everything up to where it wasn't parked fault after we've been dealing with this problem for 6 months and have had numerous people out here to check pedestals to try to avoid taking responsibility for the Damage Done to our trailers and doing our repairs which is covered under their insurance. We were trying to start on a cross country trip when we got alarms indicating low voltage an a possible stabilizer problem. Vance Smith of Express Tech saved our trip by isolating and fixing the problem. He checked all our battery levels and tested the stabilizer system several times after repairing a bad ground. I'm a go to guy when it comes to getting things done around the motorhome I have a couple of people a week asking to have work done on there RV They ask where can I go to have such and such repaired. I can not recommend these guys because they are extremely expensive. The first job they came out and a fan needed to be replace on a roof air Cond unit They have to order it and come back out to replace the failed unit. The Tech came out to install the unit and broke it while installing the fan. They had to order another one But the Tech wanted to be paid The customer refused unit the unit was repaired. Express tech came outside of their normal boundaries to diagnose the problem with my RV refrigerator. My rv was at a dog show nearer to San Diego, but no other mobile provider would dispatch a tech. The Express tech called when he arrived and quickly set about determining that a low voltage wire between the breaker box and the fuses was bad. He traced it from the back of the refrigerator to the breaker box, no small task. The tech tied in to a spare wire in the breaker box to restore power and save the food in the refrigerator The owner followed up after the tech had left to determine I was satisfied with the work. Tech was clean and neat, observed covid protocols, and apparently fixed problem. Next day we had moved on to another RV location hundreds of miles away. Next shower resulted in similar problem. Called the owner for a refund. After some negociation we settled to split the bill. Owner was easy to deal with, and offered to fix problem if we were still in the area at no cost. I needed a preventative repair of the large living room slide of my motorhome as well as repair an issue with the sidewall of the same slide. I made an appointment and Raymond arrived on time and got to work. We was knowledgable and efficient. The repair looked like factory when he was done. When he finished that task I asked him to look at my door which wouldn't latch and check my other slides (my motorhome is new to me). He quickly fixed the door (I thought I would need parts but wasn't necessary). Then he noticed a problem with one of the bedroom slides. He came out the following week and had the slide fixed and adjusted in just a few hours. Once again the final product looks like it came that way from the factory. Then he found a blown chassis fuse in just a few minutes, which would have taken my MUCH longer to locate. We did have a misunderstanding about how the second estimate/invoice was structured, but it was resolved to my satisfaction.
