Ron Huff, his son Shawn, and the…read moreTT&RV team have worked on my Monaco Diplomat and my Tiffin Allegro Bus at the shop at Thermal and also at my home. I find their specialties and deep knowledge are diesel engines and chassis related systems, not the house part of RVs. Over several years, I have called Ron & Shawn 6 times for problems with dash AC, check engine light, DEF and diesel exhaust, hydraulic leaks, hydraulic leveling jack, engine overheating, and engine oil leak. TT&RV has also performed mobile fluid and filters changes on the Cummins engine and generator. My total cost has added up to over $15K for all the parts and labor. However, motorhome parts are not cheap. All the problems were fixed and all the services were performed by TT&RV to my satisfaction.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this dealership…read more I have purchased over 100 vehicles in my lifetime in business. And I've never had such a wonderful group of guys work with me like the folks at Mike Thompson RV did. From the first moment we walked on their lot until the time we drove away in our new motor home, it was ALL good! Clint is a low pressure salesman who let us wander through the lot without pressure. Super nice fella as well! When we found the one we wanted, Chris and Anthony worked extremely hard to get a great price and extraordinarily good financing package for us as well. Josh was perfect at adapting the RV to our liking and was patient with us as we asked questions during the walk through. David was so kind to help Colton get the motor home out of the lot and give some driving instructions. I highly recommend Mike Thompson RV in Cathedral City especially these 5 guys! We bought our first motorhome at another dealership that had many locations and is extremely well-known. They weren't near as helpful as the guys at Mike's place were. We love the new motorhome and we will give them all of our future business as well as recommend them to everyone we know in the market for an RV. Thanks again guys, y'all are the best in the west!

There is absolutely nothing go to say about this location or the lying, incompetent, lazy…read moreemployees, especially Josh, who did nothing but lie to us in person and in text when it came to the delivery of our RV and the outstanding due bill. Chris the sales manager is the most dismissive person around. He does not give one shit about his clients, and it clearly showed. Anthony the finance manager, lacks empathy in his apologies when confronted with the poor treatment received by Chris, and the absolute lack of communication, and blatant dismissal of my requests. Then there is Josh the blatant liar who lied to me in text when I was confirming that the due bill work had been completed and our RV was ready for delivery. He was even stupid enough to send me a picture of work that had not been done, while telling me it was actually done. Mind you, we were CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS. We had to beg for wiring information, Chris and Anthony downright ignored my requests for Extended warranty information. Josh flat out lied, both verbally and in writing. Our new RV was scratched when it was taken out for fuel. It was delivered with a chip and crack in the windshield and an aqua hot system that required over $2k in repairs just days after we took delivery. These people are liars, they are dismissive, demeaning, and disrespectful. If you are wise, you will run like hell from this Mike Thompson's RV because if they allow just one location to be this dishonest and deceitful, I am sure they will allow it at all of their locations.

The follow-up customer service has been disappointing, unfortunately…read more After waiting several months to have leaks in my new awnings addressed, and after experiencing multiple rainfall events that clearly demonstrated the system installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard is not adequately configured to handle the water load, I contacted the office and sent several text messages to Tom. Unfortunately, the response time for follow-up service has been extremely delayed--measured in months rather than days or weeks. The gutters on the awnings installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard overflow significantly during normal rainfall. Before purchasing and installing the two 62-foot awnings, I specifically asked whether the system would be capable of handling the expected surface water runoff. I was assured that it would. However, it does not. Eventually, Scott returned to inspect the issue and acknowledged both the overflow problem and the need for an additional downspout. I purchased these awnings with the expectation that they would include a complete and properly designed drainage system capable of performing their intended function. I am now being told that I must pay an additional expense to install the downspouts necessary to make the system function adequately. This is not what I was originally told, and it raises a concerning question: Why would a system be sold and installed if it was not sufficient for the job from the start? I trusted Home Improvements by Tim Allard to provide a complete solution. Instead, the project remains incomplete, and I am left with overflowing gutters--a problem that did not exist with my previous system. I believe this issue should be corrected without additional cost to me, as the current configuration does not meet the expectations that were established at the time of sale. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.
